Drain didn’t work!”

After a full day of pickleball camp & drills, my body was exhausted & I needed to soak in a tub…welp, I couldn’t. At about 10pm, the desk mgr finally came up with a plastic bag to see if that would block the drain. It didn’t work successfully, so I was out of there the next day & too sore to continue my 3 day camp. I went home, very upset. Never again. And it honestly looked pretty decent.

I was nervous about staying at an Econo Lodge (I have high standards after having working in the hotel industry for 12+ years), but given I didn't have many options for this particular weekend, this hotel was my only option. I have to say that it was better than expected. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Honestly, this set a great "tone" for my stay. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find so many highly-rated and delicious eateries within walking distance which was a PLUS! The room was decent. I really liked the fact it had wood floors as opposed to carpet. Yes, there is a train track across the street, and though I'm a light sleeper, I didn't wake up to the sound of a train (maybe b/c they don't run that late?? IDK). I did hear them pass by while eating outdoors at a nearby restaurant, but that was before 10pm. I checked out the Italian restaurant down the street (can't remember the name, but it began with the letter "V") - delish and the service was incredible. I also stopped at Pannikin for coffee/breakfast in the morning and it was wonderful. Line were long, but it moved relatively fast. All in all, I'd say it was a pleasant stay, and if I had to stay here again, I would. :)

Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Was not mentioned in the amenities that I saw.
