Elegance Residence Istanbul

Everything was perfect- the staff was very helpful and friendly, perfect location, good breakfast, good and big rooms. Thank you, we will visit you again for sure!!!

Difficult location, small and non comfortable beds,

Basically we requested for a room that can handle 4 people with a king size and 2 single beds. Appentaly we had a room with only 1 bathroom and 1 closet and 2 sofas and one king size bed. And one AC. We asked for refund because they didn't give us what we wanted. They gave us 4 slippers and 2 of them is dirty and yellow coloured. Beds with no blanket and the room smells very bad and we asked for change to a same room but on another floor but they gave us 2 single rooms. What kind of "hotel" is this? We even asked for atleast 50% refund and they still don't want to cooperate with us. And with no toothbrushes and no tissues at all. I hope Agoda reads this review.

Lighting in bedroom and bathroom dim

Very modern, but you will never find the hotel. It is in one small street, no signs, we drove arround about an hour. Too far form city center, sightseeing and everything. Great price is the only good thing.

i chose this place because it offered what you get from a hotel suite - for a price that wouldnt buy you much more than a hostel bed in london. this place is true value for money. the website looked fantastic -and it was an honest picture - the place was truly the same. the staff were more than fine, friendly and fluent in english. it is two minutes from the metro - and taxis are so cheap in istanbul that you can choose metro or cab ride as you wish. i will recommend this to anyone who wants a bit of luxury but isnt super rich or dumb with their money

I do not recommend this hotel because the room we were given had no windows so the room has never seen the Sun! When I asked they said all rooms are the same.

Staying was good. Everything was perfect w.r.t AC , TV etc .It fits with your budget & I would recommend this hotel. View points: 1. Room has 2 big windows but its of no use because there was parallel building close to window. 2. Services can be improved like housekeeping. 3. Staffs should be more helpful and expert enough to advise what tourists should do in istanbul.

I really like this hotel. I loved the decor, everything was clean and new. Intitally we were wondered it would take ages to get into the centre of town, but because its 3 minutes from the underground and then 10 minutes on the underground to Taskam Square its really not an issue. Plus its probably better to stay a little way out if you dont want to be in the hussle and bustle of the city. The cute little pool was an extra addition which we utilised one morning - we were the only ones in there which was nice. The jazcuzzi bath was also an added bonus! I really felt like I was staying somewhere luxurious (I'm a bugdet traveller) for the price I have paid in hotels that have been pretty nasty.

the hotel is a bit off centre, but there is a metro station 5 minutes away. during our stay the footpath to the metro was under construction so we had to walk on mud and dirt to get there. also, it is very difficult for taxi drivers to find this place so it is best to give the hotel phone number to the taxi driver so he can get the address from the hotel directly.

this is a fantasic hotel and well worth the money. i stayed for 3 nights from 24th.to 27th.may and could not have been more pleased. check-in & check-out was friendly & efficient.i had a room on the 3rd.floor, which was spacious & beautifully decorated and a lovely bathroom.hotel only a few mins walk to levent metro station & then less than 15 mins on metro to taksim sq.i can't comment on the food, as i did not have breakfast there, but there are plenty of little cafes in the area. see travel tip below for more info.

I had paid equivelent to room fare to find what is called elegence resident though using a map and a well known area. but no sign, no name. and when finally found the sign says mood suites not elegance and they say it is the same. nothing in the room . no electric kettle, no ironing facilities , no tissues, just a bare room . it is not accessable by taxi due to road constructions, you have to walk loaded with package through construction area, very annoying. not recommended.

Stay was comfortable except the breakfast though good was a little disorganised. Overall a good place to stay.

I had chosen this hotel as it was by far the cheapest one with five stars. As could be expected, it is most definitely not a five star hotel. The staff was not always friendly but in no way competent. The service is that of a three star hotel at best. The king suites offer a lot of space, but one of them did not have the promised jacuzzi (which btw is just a few holes in the normal bathtub) and the other one had all its windows facing a ventilation shaft. I am not sure the hotel has a gym and/or spa area, but since that was not at all the purpose of my stay, I did not inquire any further. It is unfortunate though that there was no brochure or folder of any kind guiding you through the hotel. Whoever designed/built this hotel was either not a professional or on a very low budget. Plugs and lightswitches are distributed rather randomly in the rooms (definitely not in a way to make things easier for you), and the staff (nor any) performance of the hotel do not in the least live up to the luxury that the waste of space would suggest. Breakfast is not included in the room price and would have cost 10€ (per person and per day !) With public transport, it takes you about 45 min to go to the center (Sultanahmet).

This hotel isn't in the very center, but you reach the historical center by metro, for example. It's not a 5-star hotell, but maybe 4 stars. A clean place, nice staff and really big rooms (suites) - well worth its price!

It was Lovely hotel and good service but i reserved it as a Comfort (suite) but i found it just a (room) not a suite as i thought!!! Also i have a problem about the name of the hotel that nobody knew it's name so i spent a long time searching the location to arrive to it first time.

What i like about this hotel is : Value for money, new hotel, large rooms,very clean in general ,near to the metro station, very helpful staff. Breakfast was not very rich but enough for us. What i don't like about this hotel is : The hotel is very near to the main crowded street but it is 50 meters inside from that. The connecting street is a very narrow and dark street. Especially at night silence and darkness make us feel anxious.

room: very cosy and generously equipped room including tv, a queen-sized bed, two extra sofas, a nice bathroom, safe, minibar etc. all this on 40 square meters ! we felt like sultans in this room. a clear plus. they offer free wifi, but signal strength in the rooms is not too good. location: close to metro station 4.levent. takes you about 30-40 minutes to go to downtown istanbul (sultanahmet) by metro and tram (2 changes necessary!). the hotel area is under heavy construction, no real side-walks available. a clear minus. also, the taxi drivers do not seem to know the hotel. make sure to have a map with you with turkish street names. if you feel comfortable with public transportation this hotel is good value for money. if not, rather book something (more expensive) in downtown istanbul. staff: they try to be friendly, but often their english skills are insufficient for a hotel that is hosting international guests. do not expect too much from them, although they try to be very helpful if you ask.
