Great comfort and design in a natural paradise”
At first I had booked only two nights, with the idea of Just seeing the Mekong and the temples of chiang Saen. But I ended up staying here for three weeks. I think it is enough to give an idea of how wonderful the stay was. The resort is a high quality contemporary architecture project, whose spotless rooms are designed with great attention to detail, mixing suggestions of the urban industrial style with traditional local woods and fabrics enjoying huge windows to make the most of the magnificent surrounding environment. You are immersed in a well-kept garden of fragrant plants, with peacocks and swans and among organic crops of fruits that can be picked and eaten directly from the plant. And all this in a stunning scenic riverside location with views of the Lao woods and stunning sunsets. The resort is impeccably managed, with a young, motivated and lovable staff in taking care of guests perfectly. The restaurant, currently only open for breakfast and dinner, serves delicious Thai dishes. The structure is a few kilometers from the city and I, not having my own means of transport, was afraid of finding myself in difficulty for lunches and visits to the city. But the staff took care of me, ordering great Thai dishes from out for lunch and providing me with a transfer around the city whenever I needed it. I have seen many guests only stay a night or two - that's a mistake. This corner of paradise deserves to be enjoyed for longer. For a digital nomad who wants to escape for a while from the chaos and heat of the city and take a break in the middle of nature, without giving up the maximum of contemporary comfort, this is the best, with an excellent quality / cost ratio. The good story begins at the time I walk into the welcoming lobby when two dogs approach me. Startled, since I don't like dogs, I then hear a gracious apology from an avuncular 71-year-old man with hands held up to gesture, "I'm so sorry." Then, a cordial talk thrives on hearty perspectives that help manifest subtlety I can feel from every corner here. He lets me know that this resort is the product of the cooperation between an 84-year-old renowned architect and him, 71, as well as other elderly shareholders. He shows me around the12.8-acre compound (32 ไร่). With his constructive discussion and sagacious discernment of his 84-year-old partner, I have been overwhelmed by his generosity and all subtleties here. What I have learned from him and from here is the invaluable knowledge from a self-educated contractor aged 71 and a sense of sustainability, together with patriotic sensibilities and gratitude towards the late king. So unforgettable and worthwhile a stay here. ขอบพระคุณ คุณอาถนอมอย่างมากเลยครับ

Perfect location great staff”
The location couldn’t be better. Clean and spacious rooms. Front desk girl was super helpful. Generous supply of water. Comfortable bed. Great view of the Mekong river. Downside: in a land with so much great coffee, and for 3000 THB a night ($100 USD), there’s just no excuse for such poor coffee. It would be good for them to invest in an espresso machine and barista. Instant Nescafé just doesn’t cut it.

we got there around 4p.m and were warmly welcomed by the receptionists, who are really friendly and helpful. We had a room overlooking the Mekong river and it was fantastic. I love the view so much and I will definitely come back here in my next trip to Thailand

Great place for relaxation”
Of course, it's not situated nearby any well-known tourist attraction, nor other crowded places. The nearest 7-11 is probably 20-minute-drive away. However, this is where you MUST be if you need a good time rest away from confusion.

Enjoyed our time”
The facility and staff: 5 stars! For one breakfast, a staff made our teenage son a breakfast sandwich because it was close to closing time and he wasn't awake yet. The beds were soft but firm and the pillows not to high. Very comfortable! The food was average, not great but not bad either. Only two negatives: the shower and toilet door is glass and some parts of it is clear, so people can see in and out. Which is weird if you have kids with you or a friend in the same room. The others, the shower temperature is really hard to adjust. Overall, 4.5 stars! Enjoyed our stay.

Quietly dramatic rural location on the Mekong River ”
High-quality accomodation with great views out over the Mekong River and rural Laos. Excellent restaurant - just as well, since there are few other choices nearby. Worth paying extra for the rooms with the best views.

Best views of the Mekong”
Banseo is on a sleepy bend on the Mekong river with great views of the river, Laos and mountains in the background. The staff are super helpful and went out of there way to make our stay a memorable one.

Quiet place, check location”
Place is alright. Very quiet due to covid. Hotel is really far away from Golden Triangle area , so although it looks nice it’s not worth to go that far. Ok if planning on staying all day in the hotel. Staff was alright, limited English and no empowerment to take decisions. No flexibility or able to provide solutions, that said they will apologise for it thoroughly. All in all would not recommend, not worth the hassle.

3 star hotel with 5 star+ views. Staff very friendly and efficient. Views from our room were spectacular. Set in 30 rye of fruit gardens and so peaceful. One of the best hotel stays in Thailand, would definitely re- visit.

Great offseason deals on this isolated gem”
Got a great price due to low-season. Only one other traveler in the whole resort. Newly built, high quality rooms, each with amazing view of the Mekong. Restaurant also looks out over the river. Very peaceful, set back from road and a ton of fruit trees planted which will be even better in 2-3 years. Staff was very kind. Loved our stay!

The room is quite large and comfortable especially bed is very soft and comfort. Beautiful garden outdoor pool and restaurant. Italian and local foods are very good and look nice. The only problem is some parts of the hotel are under construction.
