Very good place to stay”
We are a family, stay here for 4days and 3nights (1elderly, 2adults and 1child). Room is very clean and well maintained. Very fast wifi and signal reach even outside of the hotel. This hotel is walking distance to 711 and a grocery store. Very near also to train station. Outside the hotel are very cheap chinese restaurant serving very delicious food at very cheap price. This hotel is about 15min away from Sentosa and other attractions (if transporting using Grab). Hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly. Will stay again on this hotel on future family vacations in SG.

First timers in SG”
We arrived in Changi Airport past 9pm and we had to look for the store to claim our prebooked simcards, only to find out its closed. So, we tried to look for a store to buy a sim card. I called the hotel to let them know the we're checking in a little late, and we had to eat. I was happily answered by the hotel employee that they are waiting and that we can check in late. Finally at the hotel, i had a smooth check in process and was given clear instructions. Questions were answered. The room was neat, fresh and spacious, everything was as expected. The lighting, aircon, bedsheets, towels, toiletries. They provide free coffee and water each day of our stay. The bathroom is good, hotshower and hairdryer available, they just don't have a videt. One call away for assistance, for me that's a plus especially in cases where you need an immediate help. Thanks for keeping us for three nights and 3days in SG, we look forward to be back!

The place is clean and with accomodating and friendly staff. It is walking distance to restaurants and convenient stores. Very accesible to tasportation like taxi, bus and MRT. The area is relatively quiet. The room is pristine with the basic things you need and a fast and reliable Wifi connection. They offer storage of luggages in case after check out you need to leave your stuff for another quick tour prior to your flight. Overall, we are happy with our stay. This is a very good budget friendly hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

The place's location is good, though it is quiet a walk from the mrt nevertheless it's still good. There are many restaurants and stores around the area. The place is decent and nice, though you still need to request for cleaning service for free. The staffs are nice and friendly. I think the price is way cheaper for its value since I booked months in advance. 100% recommend. Will stay here again for sure if I come back

-Good services i.e housekeeper who get room service cleaned and reception, necessary toileteries provided -Location is good, near Aljunied MRT ~700m, there is a cheap (U star)super market in front MRT, food court around. -Deluxe room facilities is good, big, sleep well with a good bed, air con, WIFI is so fast every time we use. -Surrounding was good, safely even we go back a hotel late at night.

Value for money and amazing location”
My family, a group of 4 (adults and 1senior) stayed for 4nights. I booked for a suite room and i did not expect the room to be big. I mean for the price i paid i expected smaller room. I do not need a fancy room, a soft bed and clean bathroom is everything to me since i am just booking a hotel to have a place to sleep. Does not have to be a 5star. =) Amazing location. Fruit stands, food stalls and mini supermarkets are everywhere.

A Lot To Like”
Bright Star is well located - close to a supermarket and a wide range of restaurants and just a short walk to Aljunied MRT. Our room was quite large (by local standards) and the king bed was clean and comfortable. The only negative aspect was the midnight disturbance by a group of late-arriving Chinese people who needed to have a long and loud conversation in the hallway. There was also the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway despite many "no smoking" signs.

The location is non red light district area. The hotel is not sleazy like alot of other hotels. The rooms and hotel have a really nice ambiance. It's really value for money for staycation. The staff are not arrogant like some other hotel staffs can be. The beds are thoroughly changed. The aircon works. Seriously nothing to complain about.

The room size is big. Bed is very comfortable, you can relax after a day walk-out. A/C and Heater works well.. Staff is very friendly, he help me booked a grab taxi coz we need to be at the airport at 4am (no mrt and bus yet) for out KL Flight. So many food stalls around the hotel location.

Recommendable place to stay”
Comparing the prices of hotels in our country, Bright Star hotel is expensive. But comparing it among the places to stay in in Singapore, it is already good enough. Inside the hotel was clean. At first, we were apprehensive about some reviews regarding the small cockroaches. But in our 5-day stay, never have we seen one. Food stalls and grocery stores were accessible, about 2-3- minute walk. It was just 3-4- minute walk to the bus station and 5-7-minute walk to Aljunied MRT station. The staff were friendly and voluntarily helped us with directions when we seemed not sure where and how. The facilities were good, except that the lift mechanism is not smooth. While tap water was potable, two cups of complementary water were supplied. Instant coffee was provided too. Overall, we enjoyed this place and highly recommended to other travellers.

Good Location”
Bright Star Hotel is ten minutes away from the nearest MRT station and is also close to a supermarket that sells practically everything you need. There are also plenty of restaurants within the area if you want to try some of the local food. Geylang is known as a red-light district, but we didn't notice anything out of the ordinary even while walking back at night. Overall it is a really good stay and I would definitely stay here again.

For a two-star accommodation, this hotel exceeds expectation. The hotel is walking distance within the nearest bus stops and train station. It is also surrounded by food centers that cater affordable meals. The hotel offers free storage for luggage should you decide to do some sightseeing while waiting for the check in time. Housekeeping is available but guests need to request for this service. We opt to request that our room be cleaned, and sheets and towels changed every two days to conserve water. Some of the sheets are not new, with few tears and holes, but very well cleaned. We had a good 5-night stay here and did not encounter any problems at all.

Very near to Aljunied MRT station. A lot of affordable restaurants within the area. Plus a 24hr convenience store nearby. Our room is neat and spacious. Receptionist are also very hospitable and even let us deposit our luggage after our early checkout. Warm water in the shower and a reliable wifi connection. I will definitely book again. Highly recommended guys!!
