Wonderful Getaway & Helpful Staff”
This place was magnificent consider the really affordable room rate with such view! I was first initially booked the king Lagoon room with bath tub & sea view from Agoda but unfortunately the room was prebooked with call in so they gave the the other sea view room without bathtub and I was really disappointed cos that room that I want the view is really really magnificent!! And the room they gave me was really small and packed and I wasn’t happy but the kakak with tudung is really helpful she told her boss about this and they upgraded me to the chalet without any charges! 😍😍 I’m really thankful and I really enjoyed my time there. The room is spacious and at the far end away from the noisy mahjong sound that other customers was playing and also I love the view very much!! But the only thing you can complain is the “space rocket”-like toilet 😅 it’s abit run down and there’s not much space in it, I can feel it shaking 😂 the shampoo and soap is too runny maybe they add water in it to save budget consider the room rate is really cheap. So bring your own toiletries guys. I had my dinner there and the dishes we ordered are really delicious and nothing you can complain bout it. Overall it was a wonderful stay here in Gayang Friendly Homestay and I will definitely comeback for the King Lagoon room with bathtub 🛀 ❤️❤️❤️

A hidden gem in Kota kinabalu”
We stay in this resort for a night . The food is delicious and the staff are being helpful. Besides the cheap and delicious seafood dinner , the owner serve us well and even share with us his hometown food for free. The scenery in the early morning is superb inside our room through the beg size window. We enjoy it very much. Sure will comeback again for the unforgettable experience. Well done!

Stayed for birthday getaway. the room is bigger & cleaner than what I had in mind. Tho the bathroom is very small, it's very clean. Love the balcony view. Bring your own food. The restaurant is closed & no breakfast provided..

Pros: Homestay facilities are good. Very clean in every corner. There is a play area for Adults and children. Room are larger than in photos. Surrounding by nature. Cons: BREAKFAST ARE TOO BASIC. PLEASE IMPROVE.

We staying here for 2 nights for fishing time. The room is ok. But there is ants at my bed and not comfortable to get sleep. The bad smells coming from the toilet even the toilet is clean. But we are enjoyed our staying.

The service are good all the staff helpful and very friendly we really enjoy staying here and especially the food also breakfast like a king with fresh prawns and crabs. They been taking care of the mangroves was environment rather than previous management. Will be waiting for the karaoke capsules and the buffet as well! Food is cheap and delicious

To be honest, we can call this a resort even though they stated it was homestay. Staying here for one night and its a perfect place for short getaway. Arrived late at 10pm, and the staff is there to assist you even though i have to wait for about 10 minutes in the lobby. Overall, a good stay and totally recommend this place for anyone who love fishing!

Bit far from city centre but a great retreat for calmness and relaxing. U can sea the monitor lizards.. rare species of birds and odd crabs speacies and ocean mangrove creatures. They have fabulous seafood resto there.. all is fresh.. staff were very attentive and helpful and also friendly

This is our first stay. My sister and I enjoyed it! The view is very nice! Our Family Room with Balcony is very spacious and nice. However need to improve on cleanliness especially the toilet. The toilet is too small though. Balcony light is not working. We unable to switch on the standing lamp as well due to no plug. Hope you could improve on this. Overall stay was pleasant although was short.
