I booked a standard room for 1 night to celebrate my mum's birthday. Upon check-in got a free upgrade to a Deluxe room. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. A nice variety of breakfast buffet and it was delicious. Good location to everywhere. Hotel is 5 mins to KSL mall by car, few mins to Larkin, CIQ. Alot of food stalls near the hotel. Good service from staff, staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for help during breakfast. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again! Highly recommended!

Very good hotel. New rooms, everything is new. The price is very low compared to the quality the hotel has. I was surprised why the price they are charging so low with this service. But this is what their greatness is. Must stay and you will enjoy. I parked my car for 5 days in hotel parking and went to Singapore. They didn't charge even a single RM for the parking. I was sooo happy. Great service that a 5 star hotel can extend is this. Extremely satisfied.

The stay at this hotel was nice. Room was well appointed and service was great. Beware of the cost of breakfast if there are no remaining rooms that include it. The difference in price for rooms with breakfast is around S$10 (30 ringgit) but if you pay on the day, breakfast for two will cost around S$30 (90 ringgit). Hotel is nice though. Great stay in Johor Bahru.

Travelling from Singapore and came in early as we expected major traffic jams due to it being the Merdeka weekend and a Saturday at that. Arrived at 9am and we were allowed to check in at almost 11am once a room was ready, at no extra charge. While waiting, we went by to nearby KSL and walked around while our luggages were taken care of by the bellhop. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and was in good condition. Love the stay there! 👍🏼

Pros 1. Room is spacious and clean 2. Got an early check in since we had arrived earlier. 3. Location near to Plaza Pelangi, KSL Mall. 4. In the hotel itself, there's a massage place with reasonable prices. Hence no need to travel out for a massage/foot reflex. 5. Free parking Cons 1. Air-con in room was too cold, even after adjusting the temp 2. Rooftop pool was nice but only a small area for children. 3. Breakfast range could have been better

Exceptional”
First time stay in Grand Paragon for family wedding. The staff and service was excellent throughout. But was disappointed with a trainee staff name Anin (she sound like an Indonesion). The moment we approached her to check out, she gave us the unhappy face. She was agitated when we clarify with the outstanding bill. And worst when we requested to validate our parking ticket. She was so agitated and raise her volume and told us to go over to the machine kiosk and settle it. We were confused because the previous time we got it done at the reception counter. And this time round we wonder why that we got to settle it at the machine kiosk? We just left with a disappointed answer. A little smile and warm personality should be in her. Can't a guest ask a question if they dont understand? Hope with this feedback, she would reflect herself if she wish to continue with the hotel industry.

I wanted a connecting room as i have 4 childrens hence i booked 2 standard rooms. It was my first time booking at Grand paragon. I explained to the staff there that there are total of 6pax. 2 adults 4 childrens. If there is no connecting room i would love to request for a room next door. Understand from their staff that connecting room are only available for Deluxe room. I got a free upgrade during my stay. I really appreciate their staff effort!! Thank you so much Grand Paragon for your hospitality!!! Yes there is a slight negative for one of the male staff there during my stay. But its ok i forgive you as me and my kids enjoyed and love our stay there!

Good location, clean and comfortable ”
Easy to find food centre, it's on the backside of this hotel. Clean and quite large room, suitable for kids to play. I take 2 single bed, but the single bed is wide, i can sleep with my 8 years son on 1 bed. Breakfast quite much menu and taste not bad. Feel free to swim in 11th floor, but the water is cold. There's a night market in front of this hotel every Monday.

This is our repeat stay at this hotel. Book a deluxe room, full length glass window, facing Singapore, great sunrise view in the morning. Include a good spread buffet breakfast for your stay at minimal price. Swimming pool on the 11 floor with nice view. Go.. use the free gym at the level 11, with great view from the full length glass window. FREE basement carpark. Downside: do no provide face and hand towels. Only provide bath towels. will not make up room (even request) if stay more than 1 night. in room safe box not working. hair dryer not working

Newly refurbished and great location. Very friendly staff that go out of their way to make the stay memorable. Need to single out Kalai, a student chef who ensured our breakfast met the required standard. All in all, a good comfortable stay with friendly staff. Location is close to town and a short drive from the big malls, restaurants and causway

Great location with nice pool”
Price was affordable, their pillow was really comfortable! There is a hawker center alike place (similar to newton circle in sg) right behind the hotel, where we could grab tasty supper/lunch. Will return for next visit most probably. Their swimming pool mimic that of an infinity pool, and one segment is a baby pool while the other side is a 1.2m pool. My kid had fun! Massage was really mediocre, can skip though.

Best Siham Char Kuay Teow”
You do need to travel far. Just behind is the Cedar food court. you can get the best teo chew siham char kuay teow. I have been patronizing this stall since I was in school. Teo chew porridge also available plus a variety of local fares. If you are into siham, no hesitation. it is clean no mud or sands.

Was a short trip and was easily accessible to anywhere within Grab was very convenient and just behind the hotel there is a food court with various local dishes which are cheap and the area is clean. This food court opens till 1am. Hotel was very clean, and the view was great

Stayed in this hotel twice and never fail to feel comfortable in the stay. For the first time, as we were a big group of 5 rooms booked, they upgraded us to a deluxe twin room. This time I was upgraded again as it’s my friend’s birthday. Very friendly staffs they have.

Pros: Big room, comfy bed, clean, good facilities, little traffic around the hotel, food court just behind (cheap food), bar and karaoke upstairs, smoking floor, and staff are great. Cons:. A bit old, but the price reflects that. Overall still great value for money.

really really affordable. almost impossible compared to the hotels nearby. location is super near to KSL and definitely less crowded. i drive and carpark is safe. hotel is super clean, staff is nice. i would actually pay double the price for what agoda charges. well, please continue to keep it low!

The hotel is a great place to stay. Rooms are renovated, and are actually quite large and clean. Breakfast is also good. Have stayed here twice in the past few months. Location is literally a 5 minute walk to KSL and Plaza Pelangi (just down the road in separate directions)
