I would stay here again...”
Stayed here four nights over Xmas. Enjoyed the basic hut. Clean, simple, not expensive. The pool is great. The beach is about 150 metres away. Lots of restaurants are nearby. Internet at lobby, not in room; but, who needs all day internet on holiday at a beach? Just buy a Thai sim and 3g service. Staff is friendly and efficient. A free ride from the ferry to the hotel was provided; and a cheap ride back from the hotel taxi. Rented a motorbike from the hotel too - worked fine. I would stay here again.

Fantastic stay”
We had a fantastic week here. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Great location 2mins from the beach. Hired a bike to explore the island which was easy as the hotel is right in the centre of the island. Staff great at arranging taxi for us in the evening and also helped us arrange out onward travel.

Good place for budget travellers (in the low season!)”
I spent 2 weeks here in October which is considerebly the low season, therefore, the whole place was very quiet. The bungalow was excellent, the pool was super, however, the whole place needs some renovation. The staff was very friendly, they let me change my bungalow because I didn't like the location of the first one. This resort is not right on the beach but there is a small alleyway to the beach which is 2 minutes away. Unfortunately, the beach itself was disgusting most of the time, it was covered with rubbish, but this is not (just) the resort's fault.

Comfortable, swimming pool, good location ”
Staff were helpful sorting us the room we wanted. Breakfast OK beds comfortable we stayed in a fan room all bungalows have a balcony/terrace. Swimming pool and gardens well kept with plenty of sun beds. 2 mins walk to the beach and 7-11, bars etc. Would stay here again

Basic hotel just to sleep at night”
The staff were friendly (except in the mornings I noticed they were abit surly but became back to their friendly self by 11am!) and the breakfast was not bad. Take the fresh fruit instead of the fuit juice! Pity they did not offer a thai breakfast as an option so I had to pay 50baht for my thai rice porridge. The rooms are basic, you do see an occasional cockroach, lizard or frog in your bathroom but it just reminded me of my childhood growing up in Asia! Mosquitos do come through the crack at the bottom of the door but leave the air-conditioning before you leave for dinner and they'll all be dead by the time you get back! But if you want a sterile perfect environment, do not come here! The rooms are good enough to sleep at night and not hang around all day. I preferred to do that on the beach, in the beach bars and the massage shacks!

You got what you paid for. A reasonable cabin with approx 100 metre walk to a nice beach and bars. Local shops and eating places close by. I read in a report in January just before we travelled that they were moaning about unhelpful staff. This was not the case. We had a couple of minor problems that were put right straight away. The staff were helpful

Our stay here ”
We stayed here for 5 nights and understand that you get what you pay for as we have been travelling for 2 months so didn’t expect much . BUT felt slightly unsafe as the wooden thin bed base lifted up not secure at all to find the underneath of our hut which was raised so could have let anyone in without using the front door . We also had an issue with so many ants due to holes in the floor / walls and bed and my husband was bitten more than 20 times because of this problem we didn’t manage to sleep very much after going to let the main reception know after the third night of no sleep they gave me insect spray to use myself and leave the room for an hour on return they had changed the bed so obviously aware of the problem . Also found the pool and pool area to be very dirty on one occasion the pool water was bright yellow . We are only reviewing our stay so the staff are aware that little things make a big difference and maybe the next person using the room and facilities are happier than us .

AWFUL, RUDE STAFF”
The AC in the room worked well, the proximity to the beach was nice, and the main street had lots of restaurants. However the nasty attitudes of the staff are unacceptable. They never showed up to the airport even though we requested an airport transfer through them and called to confirm it that morning. We asked to check out of our room 2 hours late when the hotel was nearly empty and they simply said no with no explanation, to which I said 'ok thank you' and they mocked me as I walked away. Completely rude and unnecessary. Wouldn't stay here again, and wouldn't recommend you stay here either if you're looking to be treated with decency.

The pool was great”
The room was very basic and the fan didn't keep it cool at all, there were loads of ants in the bathroom and we had a cockroach on our ceiling on our last night there. The location is right next to the beach with linked access, but the pool was definitely the best bit! Staff were never happy to see you and seemed like it was a chore to help you.

Not much value for money”
We stayed in a fan bungalow for a few nights. The rooms were basic as expected. The staff were all quite unfriendly, the bathroom would always get flooded and due to the uneven floor the bathroom would stay flooded all day even when we pushed most water into drain by hand. We had to ask every time we needed things as toilet paper this was not provided every day, bin outside was overflowing with rubbish by the time we left and wifi barely worked in reception area. These are minor things really, and we did not expect much more from the room, but still did not think it was worth what we payed as rooms hotels with a better standard can be found for a similar price in area.

Awful rooms, no flushing toilets”
The hotel is not on the beach, you have to walk down a dirty unlit alley to reach it. The rooms are dark, with no flushing toilet and only cold water.
