Remark Cottage / Hotel”
At first it was difficult to tell the bus where to drop us off as they did not know "Remark Cottage" but later realized it was the same as "Remark Hotel" Our stay at the hotel was very nice, but it needs to be known as "rustic" and/or "eco" For example, it appears that they are working on many of the buildings. The rooms are nice, but because of gaps between the floor boards and in the walls, insects and some rain are able to come in. If they focused on fixing more of the little aspects, it would be very quaint. That said, it was a nice, quiet jungle experience that was close enough to the main street and white sand beaches if needed as well as it had a shopping store nearby. No complaints, but other travellers need to be aware that it is "eco"

Nice and clean, beautiful view, quite place”
The artificial lake is very beautiful, specially in the morning when the lotus flowers are open. My mother, though, found the songs of the many frogs around disturbing to her sleep. The room is clean with clean bedsheets but the matrass was hard and not so comfortable, in fact I've seen better matrasses in cheaper hotels. The private beach looks lovely and lots of shade, thought its bit rocky but still possible to swim, special sea shoes would be advantage. About 15 min walking to White Sand Beach, but thers large Tesco supermarket 1 min, just behind the hotel. We got the room on promotional price on agora, so were happy with the deal, nice to stay for few nights to enjoy quite isolated location with nice views.

Cute little cottage resort”
I love their little cottages. It was very clean and comfortable. We went during the winter season, the weather was perfect. We wish there was a fan so we didn’t have to use the Aircon. Overall, it was a fantastic stay

A Quiet lovely place to be”

nice setting on the beach”
I booked 2 rooms, 1 garden view which was fine and for a friend a beach front chalet. She had to move out of the room due to an abundance of mosquitoes all night. Due to Agodas policy we lost 3 nights money as the hotel said that it wouldn't be refunded. The actual photos on the website must have been a few years old. Makes me think about using a new search engine in future.

Lovely cottages trying to be an resort. Overpriced”
In the tradition of Thai island Wood & Bamboo beach cottages, this resort has lovely units. However, they aspire to be a resort, and so have introduced a restaurant and upped the prices. The restaurant isn't worth a visit, the prices are not relevant to the quality and they have not got the hang of service. We were dissappointed and had better service and value at a number of other resorts/hotels. If you get a deal and dont need to be looked after go for it, otherwise go elsewhere.

Quiet area but good travel ”
the layout of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. swimming pool is amazing as well. not crowded but the room itself was a bit small and the shower was not good. i found their blanket was annoying too, it's three layers not one solid blanket . but the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. all in all, our experience was good but wouldn't stay there again next time. it's 15 minutes motorbike ride to the closest beach. would like to stay somewhere right next to the beach next time.

Insects in Room”
The cottages are very small and had openings where ants and mosquitos could enter during the evening had to plugged up these holes to protect my young toddler from being bitten. If you dont like insects dont stay here!! But on a better note the gardens were really nice with nice little pool but beach was really stoney.

Your own beach, no drunken tourists! ”
Beautiful spot, basically on its own beach, invariably empty and peaceful. The manager is a sweet guy who looks after everyone superbly. Seriously underrated place. No drunken idiots! No loud drug parties, just the sound of birds, the water and your soul relaxing.

Not really maintained”
The resort is rather outdated and not maintained well. Photos are outdated and very well taken. They is only a fake beach - no actual sand beach. More rocks than anything else. Location and staff is great.

Hotel just for 1 day”
we stood there just for one day. Room was clean and ok. but nobody can speak english so we had to phone with a man? the Hotel ls staying outside of the town. On foot 45 minutes to the with sand beach, so you need a taxi. Taxis of koh chang are much expensives than 2 years ago.

Friendly but lacking”
Past it's hayday. Nice little family ran place but it was let down by lack of sand on the beach & the primitive hut with dripping cold water shower was not what we were after. Not really what we were looking for on Ko Chang. Left immediately for another place.

Quiet retreat, rocky beach”
The hotel is really quiet if you have the sea view rooms and the garden amazing. The beach is rocky and not welcoming as well as the tiny swimming pool. an effort can be make on the breakfast. The island is well known for the variety of fruit trees but no fruits for breaffast...

Bad location if you haven't got car or motorbike ”
Stony beach, but clear water it's better to have special shoes. not good location if you haven't got transport. But we choose this place fifths time. We like jungle style bungalows and love to watch the sunsets in lonely beach with friends. The staff is very friendly. And of course it's good price.

Quiet & peaceful ”
Room is small, slow water pressure. Resort has a small jacuzzi and quiet rocky beach with nice view. A bit far from food, will need a car.
