I was travelling in a group of 6 expats from Bangkok. Everyone else opted for the cheapest rooms - hillside view (about 1,300 baht per night). Those rooms were perfectly nice - nothing wrong with them. I chose an ocean view room for about 1,000 baht per night more. It was worth every baht. the views of the gulf, sunset and moonset were amazing. The moonset the first morning about 5 am was worth the entire expense. The hotel is excellent. The staff are responsive and courteous. Rooms are clean and comfortable. What's not to like. The breakfast is good with a reasonable number of options. The coffee is not good. You can't have everything for the current prices, but I wish they had better coffee.

Excellent value - great staff ”
We have a young baby, and have stayed at this hotel several times with no issues at all. The staff are all friendly and attentive, the pool is great and spacious enough to swim / relax even at busy times. Breakfast is good - fresh food is brought out regularly, tables cleaned in a timely manner and a good range of food to suit most nationalities and tastes. For value - we don't think it can be beaten in terms of facilities and price. The artificial beach area is a great spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a drink / and or food.

We have 2 and 4 years old boys. We picked the right resort. We had such a great time here. The staff are so nice and friendly. They were playing with my kids and always say hi to the kids. The atmosphere is very nice. The room is very clean and comfortable The pool is very nice. My kids love it. Also they have play room that spacious. The food is delicious and fresh. We definitely will go back again soon. Love it!

My 1st time at this hotel with my family but have been few times already for coffee and dinner. Always feel a warm welcoming from Khun Golf, Khun Cafe & the whole team. I've got a room early as expected, thank you for very effective following up between FO and HK. The rooms are large, clean and modern. The bed is comfy. HK staffs always wear a smile on her face. Love this place. It worth for every penny.

Lovely resort”
We stayed at Awa for 6 nights in the sea view room. The room was large and clean and of a high standard. The pool was excellent and the water soft. I think the breakfast could of had a little more choice for the western folk but this didn’t concern me to much. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend without hesitation. Well Done Awa very happy customer.

My stay exceeded my expectation. The room is very spacious and clean. If you are a person who loves cleanliness, I would recommend this hotel. For all the staffs, they did that very well. Especially, the receptionist who checked me in. She is very kind and helpful. If I have a chance, I would come back again.

Staff are nice, pool is huge, place is clean, situated on the beach, close to all the action the list just goes on and on. The best 6 nights I had over my 3 week holiday in Thailand highly recommended I'll be back for sure. Thanks AWA!

The place is clean and Facility is so luxury. Food is okay but I wouldn't pay money for seafood dinner buffet. Not just what we were expected. Pool is clean and fun. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again if I get a chance to travel Koh Chang next time.

I was surfing the internet to fing the hotel in Koh-Chang and found this hotel with charming design. I was very impress with this hotel. It was beautifil as I saw in the internet. Beach front was vey superb. Sunset is very nice for me. Swiming pool and other facility also good.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lots of beautiful photos throughout the resort for IG, and sunset watching was incredible too. Had green curry which was delicious as well. Long island tea cocktail was strong yet enjoyable. Highly recommend! :)

Hotelli oli todella hieno ja kaikki palvelut huippuluokkaa. Aamupala oli loistava ja monipuolinen. Sijainti todella hyvä. Vieressä ravintoloita ja baareja. Iso uima-allas. Hiekka rantaa tässä ei ole, mutta se ei meitä haitannut kun altaalla oleiltiin. Thaimaassa 10x käynyt ja tää hotelli oli kyllä yksi parhaista. Alueena Kai bae beachiä pidin todella kivana.

Great Architecture, Great Pool, Great Food, No Beach”
Stayed for 3 nights with my wife and a couple of friends. The hotel has some very dramatic architecture and the pool is very nice. All the meals were very good, although service for one of the served dinners was somewhat slow and disorganized. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very tasty with full coffee bar including espressos and cappuccinos. The only real drawback was that there was no beach, just concrete steps into the gulf. The steps worked fine to get in/out since there were no waves, but not as fun/nice as having a beach. But for 50 baht/person or so we took a group taxi (open truck with bench seats) to White Sands beach for some beach time.

Had 2 nights here in AWA Resort . Lovely place and location . Some great bars/restaurants down the street . Good choices of food if you fancy a wander . Sea view room lovely views and sunset .

It was a very relaxing time, at a new luxurious resort. The private beach was very nice, which faces the west, so perfect place to watch the sunset and enjoy a drink, food, or both.
