Friendly staff, basic accommodation ”
Our original room was a floating hut with bathrooms a short walk away. It felt like we were being hit by a tidal wave each time a motor boat went by, which was frequent. There was also a large party our first night, who did HOURS of outdoor karaoke outside our room. The beds were comfortable enough, but the combination of floating, no AC and shared bathrooms and the noise was too much for us, and we changed rooms to the main building. It was quiet, cool, and had a small fridge. It was more expensive, but totally worth it. Staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating, very good value.

Perfect river Kwai stay! ”
Considering the very very low price of this hotel I was absolutely blown away! Don’t get me wrong, the little floating hut I stayed in was very basic but that’s all I needed as I was out exploring all day! It was such a cute little place, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Everything was clean and we felt very safe. You can see the bridge from the huts, that’s how close it is! If I ever return to this part of Thailand I wouldn’t think twice about booking here! Amazing!

Gorgeous setting by the river ”
The room, grounds and restaurant were great- really pretty and very clean. Breakfast wasn’t anything special but the food from the menu was delicious. Bamboo House is located only 300 metres from the River Kwai Bridge so it’s easy to walk there. I stayed for 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer.

Great Location, clean, convenience”
This is my first time staying in this lovely place. I chose to stay in floating house (Raft) next to the river with no air condition! Surprisingly it wasn’t made me uncomfortable at all . Cool breeze blow all night. The location itself is great you can take only 10 mins walk to see River Kwai Bridge railway^^ At night you enjoy many Bars nearby!

Relaxing and Lovely Place”
I enjoyed my stay so much. More than I expected and will come back just to relax. Close to train station, River Kwai bridge, and shops. We just walked around. Worth for the money. And love sitting next to river and enjoy the breeze.

Basic hut with mattress on floor. Shared bath/shower. No hot water in shower. Simple breakfast in restaurant offered. Close to Bridge! Walkable distance to nightlife. Walkable to train station.

Beautiful, Romantic Location”
We stayed in one of the rooms on the river. It was such a lovely place, very relaxed vibe and clean rooms and even the shared bathrooms were clean and most of the time nobody was using them. Most of the staff were really friendly. The food is also good. I’m still confused by some of the reviews for this place, it is adorable and for such a good price. I can’t complain about anything. Must be the best place in Kanchanaburi. We would also recommend hiring bikes and cycling out of the touristy area, there are lovely, local food stalls only a short journey away and amazing temples about 18km away. One of our favourite places in Thailand.

Charming garden and a floating bedroom (raft)”
I can only speak for the floating bedroom: very basic, just mattress on the floor, and a longish walk to the facilities, but a brilliant place to stay! You hear birds, frogs and fish all night. I would have stayed another night, but it was booked!

Nice location by the river and within easy reach of the town, bridge and Erawan National Park. Beware of noisy neighbours across the river! However, I loved the night time chorus of frogs and insects right outside my front door.

This is a great little spot very quiet right on the river, there's a lot of accomadation options. We choose the bungalow with air-con and bathroom, some rooms on the river have great views but no air-con so be sure you book the right room

Small but cozy bamboo bungalows ”
The rooms are small but sufficient for a comfortable stay. The garden outside is very well cared for and ideal for relaxing or letting the kids play. There is a very nice view of the river and the location is just a few steps from the bridge, market 7Eleven, and other services. We'll book it again for sure!

Quaint comfy bamboo house”
Spacious and clean. Worth the price. Nice little quaint bamboo house and along the river. Nice big patch of grass in front to provide nice greenery. You can lie down and chil at the front porch. 7-11 is nearby, within 5mins. A short walk to the death railway bridge where you can easily find food. Great location. You can also book the room right on the river. The place is a nice history too. Overall, great location and great value for money.

Cozy hotel (xtayed in classic room)”
We moved to classic room from raft house because it was fully booked. Classic room is very comfortable with big area for shower and terrace. There are shampoo and shower gel. Breakfast (buffet) might be included and breakfast is good (thai food, fried eggs, fruits, tea/coffee/juices) But if you don't have a breakfast and for example want to order pad thai in the restaurant it is not possible before noon. In this hotel you can rent a motorcycle and tours.
