My Third Stay, And I'll Be Back!”
Love, love, love this place! I've stayed a few times in the last couple months, and I'll be back soon. Staff are super friendly and helpful. You're always welcome here, a real family and friends vibe. Rooms are kept clean and cozy. The seaview villas are my happy place - there's nothing quite like waking up to the ocean. The breakfast area view is unbeatable too. Plus, they have PUPPIES and kayaks. What more could you want, really. As far as the restaurant, try the coffee-banana shake at breakfast, and the kimchi fried rice at lunch or dinner. I haven't personally tried the Korean BBQ, but all the other guests loved it. In my opinion, PERFECT location. It's only a 5 minute motorbike from the Lonely Beach nightlife scene and Nature Beach's sandy paradise, but that short distance gives you so much peace and quiet. I would 100% recommend this place to family, friends, and strangers. KoChang7 is the best.

Our Stay at Koh Chang 7 was perfect. The View from the room & Restaurant/Bar couldnt have been better. Everyone from the team was super friendly, always smiling and helpfull! We stayed in another hotel after extending a few days and regreted it immidiatly. Again, highly recommended! Thank you Kohchang7 Team!

My home away from home”
Love the seaside bungalows! I live on the mainland and drive over to Koh Chang every other weekend, this is by far my favorite spot and best kept secret. The Korean family who runs the hostel are super kind and welcoming. Food is excellent and always served with a smile. Kayak rental is awesome and peaceful. Even during high season, this place is a mellow escape. You go to sleep to the sounds of the ocean and wake up to the sun reflecting off the waves. Literally, I watch the ocean from my spot in bed with my coffee after waking up. Bai Lan is a pretty location, and a 5 minute scooter from the heart of the nightlife action of Lonely Beach. Can't recommend Kochang 7 highly enough!

Very nice Korean owners, polite. Typical island resort bordering the sea. Tranquil, cool restaurant/bar. Owner plays the guitar and sings at night. 4 beautiful dogs also on the property. Highly recommended for a chill put stay

Good place at the sea. You need a motorbike. Attention NO Sand Beach only stones. As I drove everywhere is this no problem. Nice restaurant made with love. Take a front bungalow.

Chilled place with very good food”
Restaurant was what made this place great...food was great, the area perfect for chilling out, also during the day, and placed by the sea with nice views, especially sunset. Management was very talkative with guest, sadly only the Korean guest though. The rest of us would have been fine with a " how was your day", but that never occured. Not even a "are you ok" after coming back from hospital, being taken there by a taxi booked by them. That would have been appreciated. They were not unkind to westerners at all - completely nice and polite, they just seemed to focus their attention on the Korean guests.

Price-performance ratio is not right”
Even considering high season and the higher prices on Ko Chang in general, the bungalows on the seaside (it's not a beach location!) are way too expensive. I was traveling Thailand a lot and those huts are on a backpackers level, in regards of facilities, condition etc. On the good side, the Korean owners are very friendly and helpful and the resort is close to Lonely Beach, with its many bars and clubs.

Llegamos de noche a Koh Chang (21:30). Reservé una noche para tener algo seguro y al final nos quedamos 4. El sitio es muy tranquilo, junto al mar, de hecho nuestro bungalow quedaba literalmente sobre el agua con marea alta. No era muy grande, pero tenía el espacio suficiente y decoración divertida. Baño privado, wifi, terracita. En la recepción hacen desallunos y comida decente. Al fondo tienen una terraza de madera sobre el agua para tomar algo o ver la puesta de sol. También alquilan motos. Andando menos de 5 minutos llegas a la calle principal donde tienes algunas tiendas y restaurantes. No esperes un sitio de lujo (la foto es de los bungalows caros), pero por 400bath (10€) creo que está muy bien.

estuve dos noches, el lugar estaba en venta! la gente en recepción no está nunca, e internet en la recepción no es bueno del todo, por lo menos en la habitación funcionaba. Cuando estuve no había nadie más, y si querés comer en restaurantes locales está bien... no queda tan lejos de el centro de lonely beach pero es relativamente caminable. El tema es que la vista al mar es buena, pero no tiene playa y no hay mucha gente alrededor. yo estuve dos noches y después me movi a otro hostel cerca de lonely beach donde hay más vida y tenés más opciones. pero de por sí el bungalow en el que estuve fue cómodo y con aire para lo que pagué. Tenía agua caliente y buen internet así que zafa.Literalmente podés estar muy solo por esa zona, ni ves al que está en recepción...

La villa con vistas al jardin es una estafa. Millones de mosquitos en la habitación.”
Cogimos la villa con aire acindicionado y vistas al jardín. Para empezar las puertas no cierran bien y las ventanas tienen agujeros por la cual entran millones de mosquitos, no hay mosquitera asi que es imposible dormir. Pone que hay asientos y comedor pero no es cierto, solo una mesita de madera podrida. La supuesta terraza esta totalmente oxidada y vieja sin ni una silla ni mesa, con unas escaleras viejas que apenas se pueden usar. Nos sentimos totalmente estafados ya que es un precio muy alto. Tienes millones de hoteles con mucho mejores condiciones por el mismo precio.

Our stay at 7 guest house was great. Nice and secluded area. You must know that it's not a beach. It's rocky and the tide goes down. But it's lovely to sleep with the sound of the sea and the sunset is amazing! The restaurant has great food and the staff are so friendly. We extended our stay an extra night, the bed was super comfortable. The only off part would be that it has a little fridge in the room but it was broken, it didn't even have a cable... They should just take it away for that! For the rest it was great. :)

the restaurant is the highlight. best view. the huts are very basic and small. bathroom good. wifi fast. the "garden" is not nice at all. the area outside the resort is full of junk, plastics, old scraped motorbikes and boats. the resort and whole area needs a cleanup. we stayed 3 nights, during that time nobody came to clean, change towels or empty the litterbins. the staff working in the restaurante was nice and helpful.

The owner was very helpful and spoke English that helped a lot ..the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve found in 2 weeks a nice wee setup the hot water machine tended to pop the fuse if on full heat but Thailand is full of janky wiring so not surprised ..a little hard to find the location not much singnage but a good spot right on the ocean..rocky but interesting watching the local fishermen ..thanks kohchang 7!!
