my stay in the Sugar cane guest house 2 was a pleasant enough experience, for the price paid. it is close to the bridge and and shops. the room was spacious and had both fan and aircon which is great, the rooms and office would be better having a safe or at very least safety deposit boxes so guests could lock up all there valuables ie passports and spare cash, other than that this place is lovely and quiet.

Good place to rest”

It's a good place in a peaceful neighbourhood. The hotel is exactly what I was looking for to get a couple days of quiet rest from BKK. I'm more than satisfied. The place is like a country house. I had to ask for a towel, but it's not a big deal. My bed was comfortable, I had a functioning fan and water heater, and strong Wi-Fi. And they have a decent breakfast and a really good pad kee maw. The restaurant is at the river bank, it's just pleasant to sit there sipping a drink. There're several attractions and bars in 5-15 mins walking distance from the hotel. There's a bicycle\motorbike rentals in 50 meters-ish away from the hotel.

It was only for 1 night. the locations is very close to the River Kwai Bridge, but it's 10-15 min walk from the bars etc. and the closest neighborhood looks dark and unfriendly. There was toilet smell in the room, the towel was provided only after asking about it. No maps. No feeling of security. Rather indifferent staff. Very poor breakfast. The view over river is much worse than in other places which are closer to bars.

amazing time at Sugar Cane”

I really enjoyed it here! It was so calm and quiet, the restaurant was very affordable and really tasty (some of the best pad kee mao I had in Thailand!), the room was clean and very comfortable even with just the fan. I actually preferred it to the air conditioning! I loved Sugar Cane and I would return without a second thought!

Good but not great”

Good but no hot water and disclaimers up saying they will take no responsibility if something is taken from your room. Not very reassuring...

Relaxing location, good restaurant, worth the mone”

We liked it there because of The Nice view over The water. The room with fan was ok. The staff didn't tell us thee also had a Nice restaurant, but it's a good one. The staff was friendly and willing to help

Had a great time here. We stayed in the bungalow floating on the river. wasn't expecting a 5-star resort, so this place pretty much met my expectations. there was a loud karaoke boat, but by the time it got dark, it had quieted down. friendly staff who helped us grab nearby public transport to erawan falls!

Superbe cadre éloigné du centre mais proche du pont de la rivière Kwaï. Hébergement sur l'eau avec balcon. Les cloisons très fines entre les chambres permettent d'écouter les conversations des voisins. Bonne restauration.

Sehr einfach aber ok”

Personal war sehr freundlich das Zimmer ganz einfach gehalten, Handtücher, Seife und Toilettenpapier musste man bei der Rezeption holen. Die Anlage liegt sehr schön direkt am Fluß Kwai Yai.

Gute Wahl, sehr authentisch. Etwas weiter zum Laufen zur partymeile. Aber durchaus machbar. Nervig waren nur die Disco boote.

Es ist O.K., aber man sollte Ohropax mitnehmen. Sehr hellhörig, laute Karaokeboote und Speedboote, die bis nachts den Fluss entlang schippern
