Great one for short stay and transit”
It is easily reachable if you have the region ABC train ticket (you can still use it on the Tram after arrival by train). I stayed in single room so there is no issue with noise and other issue. Room is simple given the price, but still the bathroom and toilet is clean. The free sauna in the morning is a must try. If you wake up late, you can skip the breakfast and have brunch in the old market hall within 15mins walk or few minutes by tram. If you need 1-2 night transit in Helsinki, this is a great one as you can buy a 24/48 hours ABC ticket for both round trip train and tram, so that you dont need to stay near the train station indeed as those hotels are somehow much expensive.

Good location & value for money”
10 mins (tram #4) from Helsinki City Center Train station. Walking distinct to market square, church & city museum. Hostel discount card can be applied with extra discount but price comparison is highly recommended. Shared Toilet & shower is available on each floor. Well equipped kitchen with TV, fringe, microwave, electric stroves, utensil is available at 4/5/6th floor. However, there is no air condition or fan in bedroom which will be very hot in day time (25-28c). Midnight will cool down to 22-23c with small window opened. Bed sheet, pillow cover & bath towel provided at bedroom. Friendly & helpful receptionist. Luggage can be kept for 24 hrs. Laundry & coin vending machine (snack, coffee & beverage) is available at lobby. Breakfast can be reserved at Euro10.5/meal.

Helpful Staff. Easy To Find. Peaceful and Quiet”
I stayed in Helsinki for a week during the world figure skating championships. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. I particularly liked the idea of being able to store luggage free on my last day after checking out, as my flight was not until late afternoon. That gave me time to sight - see, without the hassle of having to take my luggage with me. The rooms are basic, but clean, and there is ample wardroom space to keep belongings. Thank you for a relaxing visit.

Good option for short stay in Helsinki”
I stayed at this hostel in a twin room, it was comfortable and clean. The room was big enough for 2 people. The shared bathroom was always clean. I did not try the breakfast because i found it expensive (10 euros). The tram station (tram 4) is 2 min away, so you are very good connected to the city center. I also used Uber and from the hostel to the central station, price was about 6-8 euros. The personal was sometimes friendly sometimes not. I think helsinki is kind of expensive so that this hostel is a good value for money (75 euro per night in the twin room)

Great stay”
The place was great. Very clean, and adequate space in the room. I do have to note that the showers don’t give full privacy so some people may find this uncomfortable.. It was easy to travel to the sights using tram 4. I would happily stay here again if ever I’m back in Helsinki.

Excellent”
Good basic hostel in a good location for Helsinki centre. Good bathroom facilities although I imagine on a really busy day the queues might get bad. We booked a triple room and the third bed pulled out from under one of the others leaving very little floor space, ok for one night but possibly not for longer stays.

convenient, interesting”
Eurohostel is a no-fuss, convenient and well-located place for the solo traveller who is either out the whole day or resting in. Everything works well and is clean. Tram transport comes right up to the back of the hostel. It is in an interesting location and near to some beautiful sites. Only a couple of minor things: kitchen could do with a few more pots and pans; the room could have a few hooks to hang towels and clothes; and the corridor floor needs to be replaced (I can't tell if it is yucky and mouldy or if it is deliberately designed that colour and pattern :)

I recommend to all agegroups”
I travel to Helsinki every year, and I usually stay here, because of its excellent location near the sea, Viking line boatterminal, Kauppatori -marketsquare, Allas swimming pools and because of its international atmosphere, great staff, sauna and uncomplicated stay.

Nice and clean”
I stayed at Eurohostel for 4 nights, actually. The SAUNA on the 7th floor was just perfect! It made my day when outside was cold and snowy. Thanks!

Value for money”
You won't get a cheaper hostel than this in Helsinki with a private room, kitchen is clean and nice, rooms are a little old but you only need them for sleeping, 10 mins tram from the main train station

Soviet style of check-in”
Lady in reception insisted on filling some stupid form during check in, despite our arrival time (10.50 p.m.). We asked for a possibility to fill the form next morning but were refused. It caused that we were not able to put in the fridge our cake which we brought for friends in Helsinki - they lock kitchen at 11 p.m. Probably the form is a part of internal rules, but having in mind that we've booked the room via agoda.com and guaranteed payment by credit card, such approach from the receptionist simply insulted me. I came tired and didn't expect such inhospitality. Additionally to that, you will find a question in form like "what is your purpose of visit?". It could be normal question in Russia or China, but in Finland...

Okay for 1 night”
We booked the Eurohostel because it was a few hundred metres away from the Viking Ferry Pier and we had a boat to catch the next morning. It was super convenient for this purpose. The hostel is clean (though the first room they gave us was overwhelmed with smoke smell, though the hostel is supposed to be non-smoking), but clinical feeling. Our room felt like a hospital room. Shared bathrooms were also clean and not busy at all. It's okay for a quick 1 night stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for much more than that, unless you truly are a backpacker/budget traveler (which we were not).

Good hotel for budget traveller”
The overall experience was what I expected. The hotel is one of the cheapest in Helsinki but at the same time the room is clean, location is quite close to city centrum (walking distance) and the staff is nice and seems to be professional. I would recommend this place if you are on budget because everything really worked well enough. Good price-quality ratio.

Eurohostel Helsinki”
We stay here with our friends during May 2010,Good location,Helpful staff,Morning sauna. We have a good deal when booking via agoda, reasonable price. So we will recommend others to book this hotel and should book early because the hotel will be fully booked during the high season. Tram no.4 will bring you to the city center and see around the city center. So we will stay here again!!!

Good and cheap hostel”
More detailed information will be needed because Eurohostel has many types of rooms, for example no facilities rooms and the room with facilities.

good value”
It was a pleasant stay. The hostel is located on the tram line, also very easy to walk to town centre. Helsinki is overall a high quality city. I felt safe, the streets are clean and people I encountered were pleasant. (Note to mediator: Why is the food/dining comment a required field when a lot of hotels don't provide dining?)

Clean Hostel easy to reach”
It was a pretty good stay at the hostel, clean, friendly staff and one of the best prices in Helsinki.

Far from center ”
Far from center. You should get into the tram No.4 to reach here. This is my first time in Helsinki. I decided to reach here by walk so I thought that's wrong. If you have a plan to travel in the city, I recommend you to buy day card for transportation accessibility such as tram bus or boat within Helsinki (8€) Surprisingly, they provide free suana in the morning.
