A comfortable stay”

we are stayed at the Evergreen Laurel hotel in Bangkok for six days. Although I have been to Bangkok a number of times earlier this is the first time we stayed in this hotel. I must admit that the stay was wonderful. To begin with we arrived at the hotel after a long flight and the staff was extremely prompt and helpful in ensuring that we had a quick and smooth check in. The room itself was spacious and neat and clean. The decor takes you back in time and I must admit that whatever the hotel lacked in terms of set up, was more than compensated by the prompt and efficient manner the staff responded to any request. The breakfast spread is adequate, though has more Asian touch. The location is excellent and public transport is within walking distance. Taxis are available at all time during the day. We had a very comfortable stay and I guess I will certainly recommend this hotel to all my friends and acquaintances.

I was a guest at this hotel while I was visiting family in Bangkok. I certainly made the right choice in staying at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel. I had a deluxe corner suite, which was fabulous! There was plenty of room and the facilities were super clean and excellent. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best. The only comment I could suggest would be to have another electrical outlet in the bathroom along with the one for the razor. As a woman who needs to use a curling iron each morning, the lack of the outlet meant using one in the living room area. Otherwise, I have no problem in enthusiastically recommending the hotel to others.

Hidden Gem”

Our last stay at the Evergreen Laurel was our 4th in 10 years after it was initially recommended by a colleague for a 2 night stay when attending a conference. Since then my wife and I look forward to the familiarity of the place. By Bangkok standards the Evergreen is low rise and a little dated on the outside; however, the quality of the rooms, service and value for money are second to none. Being walking distance to the main Silom district CBD and Patpong night markets means you have everything at your door step for a brief stopover in Bangkok. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Evergreen Laurel Bangkok stands on Sathorn, close to Sirom and Surawong area. Easy access to high way and to anywhere avoid terrible traffic jam. Rooms are nice clean and enough wide that has bath tab and separate shower booth. Breakfast is also good

Beautiful comfort hotel”

i stay at evergreen sathron, bangkok for 2 night in the premier room. what i can say is this one of the good hotel. the hotel locate on sathorn road which convenient for traveling in Bangkok. the room i stay was very nice and large. bathroom is perfect with rain shower and jacuzzi. also, the Chinese restaurant in the hotel is very good as they are also very famous for their Tim-Sum. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. it is the good one and worth for the price.

Great value and great style”

As always, my stay was perfect. To fall into the Evergreen Laurel after a long flight is bliss. It is not over the top like the brand names on the river but modest and stylish at the same time. The rooms and baths are comfortable and luxurious but not flashy - more like guestrooms in a proper country house. The breakfast buffet is lavish and the Chinese restaurant is considered one of if not the best in the city. I get to the Evergreen and I am home.

Excellent Staff ”

The service is exceptional. Since I walked in to the hotel K.Varinthorn at Concierge Desk remembered me as the most returning guest. He was kind and professional. Cafe Laurel Staff both K. Nok and K. Hom were wonderful. Reception Staff who checked me in and who offered me a late check out were fantastic. The most important person whom I can't miss is K.Pui at Cafe Laurel. I choose this hotel is because of her service and caring. She is such a great asset of your company and a keeper. She should be recognized with this excellent performance. Please pass the message to thank from me to K.Pui. I will return to your hotel on 16th of June and look forward to seeing K.Pui and everyone there. Room 1505 from 1-3 June 2018.

Good value for money!”

A good find in Bangkok, located along Sathorn road near the Chong Ngongsi skytrain (about 10 minutes walk away). The hotel is showing its age but the staff have still managed to retain the old style look. The hotel is very well looked after. I stayed in a Junior suite room on the 15th floor which again while it was old, was well looked after. The room has a separate lounge area that was quite large with a second toilet off the entrance which was very handy. The main bathroom suite off the bedroom had his and hers basins a separate shower and bath with the main toilet. The bathroom was huge! the water pressure was also very good! Room service was very good and the food was tasty and very affordable! I ordered room service regularly. The breakfast service was adequate and the food served was tasty. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and it was much cheaper than the other 5 star hotels in the surrounding area.

Charming and convient”

this hotel has a good location in a small, quiet street on the corner of busy sathorn road. there are no restaurants or shops next door, but within a 10-minute stroll, there is a skytrain station, many banks and restaurants and a busy night market. some people may think that the hotel furnishings are old fashioned, but i find that they add a touch of classs and personality. today, so many hotel rooms look the same and can seem impersonal. the personnel is very helpful and the buffet breakfast is good. the wifi in my room worked ok. the pool is small and in the shade most of the day. i will plan to stay here again. when i return to bangkok

My stay was excellent. From the moment I checked in until I checked out, I have nothing but high praise for this hotel. Not only is it reasonably priced, the rooms are extremely clean, large and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on (orthopaedic bed). The staff were friendly, very organised and efficient. Breakfast was a delight as was my junior suite with views of the city. The only slight downside is the location, otherwise this hotel is truly a five star experience. Well done Evergreen!

a very comfy hotel”

Evergreen Laurel hotel had spacious comfy room. Just like other Evergreen hotel I had stayed before. A very comfortable stay after a long tiring day. However, it's about 10mins walk to BTS and can be very tiring after a long day. 10 mins to Patpong area. 2 mins walk to a good massage.

Quality Business Accomodation”

This hotel was an amazing experience for us (as a family on holiday with a limited budget). We were expecting an upmarket experience when booking but we were in awe of the hotel from the moment we entered the foyer, and we were not disappointed. We felt a little overwhelmed, as we were in casual holiday attire and it comes across more as a serious business hotel, with it's well appointed rooms with everything a business traveler would need, to the baby grand piano in the foyer (playing nightly during April). We came back each day soaking wet and covered in talcum powder from Songkran and headed straight to the pool for a shower and swim. We didn't get to eat at any of the restaurants as they were closed each time we wanted to eat at one (which we assume was also due to Songkran holidays), but the room service (which we ordered from the pool) was the worst food we ate in our Thailand visit (admittedly we ordered cheeseburgers) and the menu was ridiculously limited considering the restaurant options. The breakfast was a good layout with a good selection of enjoyable food, from pastries to omelettes and asian options. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful but we did get the impression they were not used to dealing with families having recreational holidays as much as business peoples issues. Overall I would say this is definetly not a family hotel, but we did all very much enjoy the experience, but it is one of the best appointed hotels I have enjoyed from a business point of view. It reminded me very much of Hilton Hotels I have stayed at in Australia on other occasions. As such I feel my experience is not going to be an accurate review for the sort of person who would normally be looking to stay here, but I have no problems recommending this hotel for business people.

Very comfortable and great value”

The Evergreen Laurel still has the comfort of a 5 star hotel despite it getting a little old. The service is friendly but some of the front desk staff do not speak much English. The kids and us squeezed into two twin beds without much problem. For $80US, I thought it was a bargain. We didn't eat there as the food was quite expensive.

Happy to stay here again”

I have stayed at this hotel 2 or 3 times in the past and so it was my number one choice for my most recent trip to Bangkok. This stay confirmed all my past impressions: everything about the hotel is great – the convenient location, the gracious staff, the comfort of the rooms and the copious breakfast. The prices fluctuate a lot depending on the season. I will certainly stay here again in the future if the price is right.

Nice staff”

I love this hotel this is because of the service from Khun Varinthorn, reception staff, Khun Hom, Khun Nok and especially Khun Pui from Cafe Laurel. All staff at reception desk and housekeeping staff were great too. I can't wait to come back to stay again. Thank you.
