Just awesome!”

i throughly enjoyed our stay here at evergreen. i previously read reviews on trip advisor and read mixed reviews, i am happy i stuck with my gut feel and went with evergreen. the beach is a short stroll maybe 200m through evergreen resort into baan chaweng resort and out onto the beach. we had friends staying at baan chaweng who paid 3x what we did at evergreen and had just as good of a room. the resort is smaller compared to others available but i liked this, evergreen also does not have all the bells and whistles that bigger resorts have like room service or restaurant but this did not hinder the experience. location is great and i would happily stay and recommend this property to others. do not believe the bad reviews you read this proprty is fantastic offering excellent value for money, the breakfast provided is good also. i would happily stay again. thanks evergreen for an awesome holiday!

Nice Hotel, Very nice staff”

We stayed in Evergreen resort for 10 nights in February- a family with 2 small kids. it was very nice and pleasant. The staff was very nice and helpful. the hotel is located at the heart of Chaweng beach, a short walk from all the resturants, bars, stores and massage places. It is not right on the beach, so you dont have a reserved beach chairs, but it is less than a minute walk to the beach- and there are some free chairs you can use. there is Internet in the hotel, but not free. the rooms are clean and tidy.

I LOVED IT!!!!! evergreen offers optimal location in second line to beach, you only have to walk 100 m and you are on at the sea.. walk 200m other direction and you are on chaweng main street, near Soi Mango and Central Festival and easy and fast everywhere... but best thing is - you not get disturbed by anything if you not want.. no noise, no party, no traffic to be heard if you are in room... Staff always friendly, nice breakfast buffet or choose between 3 styles... I will sure staz again when going Samui.. Thank yoz for good time!!!!!

The resort is another choice of the Hotel Room of Evergreen, my review only for the resort. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Couldn't have been more sweet, ensuring parking in car park and facilitating an early check in. If nothing else had gone right with hotel this lady ensured I would have left with a good impression. Fortunately everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service . Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Great Location - good size room - close to beach !”

staff always helpful and smiling - rooms cleaned well everyday - single rooms separated like small bungalows only 1 minute walk to the beach through a wooden lane along a lush eastern plant environment - hotel has no facilities at the beach but can use other hotel facilities like deck-chairs and small tables and sun umbrellas if you take some drink or something to eat from other hotels - every staff person is very helpful and always ready. i recommend this hotel for relaxation mostly and time at the beach and also good for nightlife tourists just 2 minutes walk to bars, restaurants and disco area in chaweng beach samui.

Clean hotel at a budget”

Evergreen is a decent hotel which represents great value. Whilst it doesn't have a lot of ammenities, the rooms are neat and tidy, and feels slightly better than a budget hotel. The is a hotel hotel for anyone who wants to stay in Koh Samui for an extended period of time, as it is relatively low cost without sacrificing too much quality, and located in the heart of the town.

Close to beach and nightlife”

The Evergreen Resort is a nice hotel, very closed to beach and nightlife. Dispite this, it was quiet. I had no problem to find my sleep. Staff was friendly and in case of a problem, we got help immediately. When I will be in Samui next time, I definitely will stay there again.

Great place !”

I really like this hotel! Simple but nice! I had a room in the main building and it was clean and big with a big balcony ! It’s not a 4 start but has everything you need: kettle, 2 bottles of water free, ac, fridge...Only the tv was a bit old but ok with some English channels. A small pool to refresh yourself if you need with a bubble area, not so big but enough. The staff was really nice and friendly! Specially Narnny ! She helped me for booking a cab or a motodrive with good price ! Warm and strong water in the shower. The location is awesome next to the Main Street without the noise and an direct access to the wonderful Chaweng Beach via another hotel (1 min distance max)! For the value it’s a really nice place at Chaweng. Lot of posisbilites to eat and so on around! Don’t give it a second thought ! I would go again without hesitation!

Great hotel in an excellent area”

It's been my 5th time at Evergreen resort and I keep on reccomend it. Although it doesn't have a private beach, it's only 30 seconds walking to it and it's nearby all main Chaweng Beach attractions. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Although it's close to night hot spots, the hotel is very quiet and there's no noise at all. Breakfast has also improved a lot in comparison to past years.

Great Location”

This is a great hotel. I had a lovely time out here. The only problem is the room service. I doubt they don't give you room service. But don't think about all that. That's how Koh Samui is. It's very laidback and chilled out. This hotel is the best because of its location and the beach side restaurant and bar. So without thinking, just go! Even the nightlife is 2mins walking!

Can't say much more than our other review. We had booked another hotel in Chaweng but found it unsatisfactory so spent an extra week at the Evergreen. Will definitely be back.

Nice enough hotel in a good location”

I had previously been staying in a quieter area of Chaweng beach and decided to stay at the Evergreen as I wanted to check out the nightlife. The hotel was very centrally located with plenty of shopping, massage, restaurants etc. nearby. I enjoyed the hustle and bustle after a very quiet few days and the Wednesday night beach party at the Ark Bar didn't disappoint. The hotel itself was decent enough with a reasonable sized room with a balcony and roomy shower room. I found the bed a bit lumpy but the linen was clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was served near reception. It was plentiful - toast, bacon, eggs, fruit etc. The pool is tiny and has no view of anything except the back of the hotel. I wouldn't choose to use it especially as the beach is so close. Overall I didn't mind the Evergreen but you are simply paying for location. For the same money but far more luxurious and with great facilities including beautiful pool and gym (and free sunbeds on the beach at a sister hotel 5 mins away) I went back to stay at Le Murraya and paid the 40 baht fare to get to and from my hotel when I wanted to go out!

Great hidden gem in the heart of Chaweng!”

The staff here were always so great and accommodating to whatever I needed - whether it was a taxi, a motorbike rental, extra days, anything. The location is great, you're right in the middle of all the restaurants and clubs and just a few feet from the beach but it's tucked away so it's nice and quiet. I stayed in one of their bungalows and it was great, especially at that price point. I originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 8 nights because I was so comfortable here and I even had 2 friends get rooms here as well on their way in and out of town. Thank you Evergreen!!

great location for nightlife”

lovely little hotel in the middle of chaweng beach but down i little road so quiet at night but very near the beach walking takes 3 minutes and the to the road 1 minute so very near to all your needs breakfast was good and rooms nice and clean and small little balcony ok if you a smoker if i basck in samui i stay there again

Big room, good location”

The Evergreen is a very good 3 star hotel. The rooms are a big, with good facilities and a nice balcony. The staff are friendly and always ready to help with any queries and the room was cleaned daily. There was a good choice at breakfast, which was a buffet on some days and from a menu on others. The location of the hotel is great - a minute from the beach and the restaurants and bars on the street but the hotel was still very quiet during the night.

Good Resort ”

The location is very good, just a few steps to shopping street and restaurant. its a must stay location, Close to beach and nightlife. Good service and accommodation. walking distance to beach. We enjoyed our stay at the Evergreen Resort as the rooms were nice and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious and well portioned. Overall though it was a nice stay and I would recommend this accommodation.

Nice hotell with good location close to the beach”

Evergreen resort was nice. When we were there we had to go through another resort to get to the beach because of some kind of renovation. They should also provide everyone with free wifi, even the cheapest hostels do. I really liked their pool and the fact that they provided with towels. This is a good hotel if yiu want to stay in the center of it all. Everything is close - restaurants, cafes beach taxis and clubs. The only bad thing was the wifi thing. The staff was the best.

Spent a week here was meant to be staying at the ark bar but was worried would be to lively but we would of been fine.its in the name really evergreen nice setting made it feel like an island more .nice little pool and lovely breakfast included . They helped us get a taxi to fishermans village which was good and also the waterfall and elephant trekking . Only thing I wouldn't advice is traveling to krabi from here pickup was 830 and didn't arrive until 430. Was shattered as was leaving for home the next day

Good location ”

The Evergreen is an excellent located hotel in the heart of Chaweng . Reasonable rooms for the price , cleaned everyday . It only has a small pool and pool area and doesn't have a resort feel to it . It doesn't open onto the beach , but the beach is easily accessable via a path through the resort behind .More for those not really interested in lounging around the pool and more interested in getting out and about .

Good location and great spacious room”

The hotel is conveniently located in Chaweng beach with an access to the beach. The room was really big, clean and a balcony, perfect for the smokers. The person in charge of the reception was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was included in the price; it's a simple buffet, so nothing crazy but it was perfect.
