Nice place ”

Location was perfect. The staff amazing. Latisha went above and beyond to make our stay better. Even giving us her ice so we dink have to wait for ours to freeze in trays in kitchen freezer Fruit and juice or milk would be nice with breakfast.

This was the wrong choice for my week in Phx :(”

I spent a whole day researching hotels of the area, price comparisons across multiple apps, reading reviews & looking at pics of free breakfasts, for at least 20 hotels. I stayed for a week & money is tight so I wanted to be as comfortable as possible spending the least amount of money. At $50 a night this is definitely one of the cheapest BUT I really wish I'd have paid $5 to $10 more a night & stayed elsewhere!! I was confident in this choice specifically because of the good reviews. Unfortunately I chose the wrong hotel. - bed & pillows were so uncomfortable :( it was bad - weird things like shower curtain hanging too high to stay inside the tub, bathroom faucet installed poorly so there was no room to put hands under water stream. To sum it up, the things which were the entire purpose of me paying for a room were unpleasant and impractical. If I were staying only one night I wouldn't have minded. But it's unfortunate to deal with this for a whole week.

Overall Good stay”

The room was clean. Housekeeping only cleans the room once a week. Breakfast is muffins, oatmeal, tea and coffee. The refrigerator in my room was a bit noisy and the walls are thin but, overall a good stay.

Nice and Quiet”

Good location and has the Waffle House in walking distance if you're hungry for something other than coffee and fruit bars in the morning. Only strange thing was the kitchen was not stocked with kitchenware (plates, cups, pans, etc.).

The smell in the room was awful it permeated all of my belongings and I was only in the room 15 minutes before I checked out and into another hotel. The smell burned my nose and throat. The toilet didn't flush. The TV was fuzzy and would go in and out. The pillows smelled like dirty old men and sweat. Horrible experience in the room but the Johnny at the front desk was excellent when I was checking in!

Nice for the price”

A nice place to stay for short visits to Phoenix. Room was clean, but the refrigerator was making a loud racket whenever the cooling would start up. Hallway had an odd smell. The worst issue I had was the lukewarm greeting I received from the front desk at check in, but otherwise a good value.

Riipped off by agoda”

I was not allowed to check-in after biking it and waking in sweating I was told they couldn't honor my reservation and they couldn't rent me a room I contacted agoda and they have done nothing but charge me for a room I couldn't rent. Stay way from this place and agoda

Staff were really sweet and caring. Rooms are severely outdated and has a lingering smell. I only stayed instead of leaving because of the really nice staff. Also, was only there for roughly 18 hours.

Stayed one night because I had an early flight, and I live 4 hours away. Receptionist was nice, room was clean, mostly quiet. Bed was very comfortable too. Have to ask for a coffee pot and cups. No bugs, indoor hallways do smell like smoke, but not the rooms.

Dirty sheets , the shower water would run slowly all day & night even after turning off the knob . Wouldn’t come back .

Arrived to check in and then found out the elevator was broken. We were given a room on the 3rd floor. There were 2 staff people behind the counter. I am 62 years old and on disability. I told them I thought I should get help from their staff to move my belongings to the 3rd floor. I was told that the staff was too busy to help. I complained that we should get some type of discount on the room since we were not getting what we expected. We were told that we could give up our room and get our money back. We told the staff that we knew there were no other hotels not filled up and that even if they were the cost would not reflect out pre-arranging a place to stay weeks in advance. We were provided a number to call. We tried calling that number, and the number was not to a customer service representative, it was to a number used to reserve another room. We were provided the correct number by Extended Stay staff. We went back to the front desk and told them that the number they had provided to us was the wrong number, and they refused to take the correct number from us. There was a line up of upset customers that wanted to complain and ask for a discount, but the desk just handed out the wrong number to anyone that wanted to complain about the hotel condition. We looked at the room and found soap still in the tub (not cleaned) and hair in the faucet handles of the sink (the top cover piece of the handle was missing, and hair inside the missing part location). The staff gave us kitchen ware without anything to clean the dishes with, missing lids and only two pans. We asked for coffee packets and we were told they did not have any, they were out. This was after we had complained already. We asked again after a shift change and we were given coffee no problem. Apparently, they were out of coffee specifically if we asked for it. We were from out of state, and we had rented rooms for a total of 6 days over the course of our 10 day vactation. We reserved r

Horrible”

Sheets were very dirty, curtain had a huge oily dirt that looked recent. 1st room's AC was not working so changed rooms. New room was stinky, caused me pain in my lungs after 1 night stay. Staff was rude. Overall hotel was unclean. It looked like they were not cleaning anything at all. It was a disgusting experience. Furniture was super old and the beds were air mattress or felt like air filled. I could feel the frame below when I sat on them. I would never stay there again and will think twice booking with Extended Stay America again. Apparently, they do not have quality standards applied to all their hotels across the US.
