As good as it gets”

We stayed for 2 separate nights whilst flying in and out of Phoenix. Both times check was pretty slow and I cannot understand why this is? Hey ho got there in the end. This motel is pretty much a truckers stop with a few locals and of course stop overs. It does what it says on the tin. If you enjoy luxury then it's probably not the place for you. We saw a great local jam band that play on a Wednesday evening called Boomer so that was the icing on the cake for us having been visiting the wonders of the world and family. Good Managers and all friendly.

Hotel is directly under the runway approach path of a nearby busy airport plus is right next to a busy interstate so if you are looking for a quiet place to stay this isn't it. The Agoda app says WiFi in public areas but in fact there is WiFi available everywhere, just that none of it is free. Nice pool and jacuzzi is one good thing about the place plus right next door to McDonald's. Bed mattress needs rotating as the side you get in on is practically collapsed yet the opposite side is firm. If you don't mind a noisy location then for the price this place is ok.

Adequate hotel for a short stay”

The hotel is near the highway, and it's pretty far from the nearest metro light rail, so unless you take a bus, you will have to walk about 25-30 minutes. The room is ok for that price, but don't expect much. Basic amenities are provided, such as shampoo and soap. The room Has an old TV, but for the internet, you would need to pay. Nearby the hotel there are 2 or 3 fast food restaurants.

Went into the room even though they were told not to by me (while i was in the room). That happened several times.

Ok to stay for a short while ”

Clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed. The only annoying thing was that it took close to an hour just to check in because they need ID for every person staying there (and a passport from another country will slow things down), they need vehicle info, and a bunch of other random stuff.

Awful. It smells really bad, with a sickly sweet overlay, like trying to hide the stink; the stairways and walkways were literally filthy; opening the door to the restaurant gave a whiff of bad food mixed with overwhelming cigarette stink; wfi cost is far too high; blankets and sheets had holes in them; all three staff at reception were more concerned about the time sheets for the cleaning staff than the waiting customers- there ought to be a better way of checking time sheets than doing so, and arguing, at the reception desk; staff seemed annoyed when customer asked questions and customer did not know the streets in the area. Just stay away - MUCH too high priced for the area; I will NEVER stay here again.

Great hotel for quick rest ”

It's a great, budget hotel to stop for a quick rest or if you are hungry and want some amazing food. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. If they seem rude then they are probably having a bad day cause some of the customers are extremely rude to the staff here. If you want a great stay then be respectful to the staff and the night security personnel. They are just trying to. Make a paycheck and get by just like everyone else.

It wasn't very clean the staff was not very friendly we couldn't get clean towels when we need them they said they ran out there was no mini fridge no microwave it was in a pretty rough area the only nice thing is the price it was very cheap

The Ghosts of Old Smokers”

That sad musty smell of loneliness and desperation. The staff is friendly however and the restaurant is very good.

Cool Atmosphere. No complaints, Staff always friendly, speedy, Taco Bell and Md.Donalds on both sides and a liquor store directly Across the street that stays open til Midnight AND you can just walk up. 👍

A place to stay near the highway”

No problems, if you need a place to spend a night, they've got 'em. Clean, mini fridge, no frills, no fuss. Friendly staff

The staff at E.Z 8 motel was very friendly and very kind to me and my sister and the staff was very sweet and very generous they made sure our stay was a pleasant stay

Sketchy part of town for late check in. Decent enough room but no lights Front desk doesn’t answer phone. Either from room all or from mobile phone.

Popular destination for truckers and filled up quite quickly. Get a room away from the trucks and the freeway to avoid an unexpected early wake up!
