"Very nice lady at check in, happily gave us plates so we could eat our pizza that I took to go. The door handle to my room was extremely stiff and initially thought the lock wasnt releasing when I first swiped the card but quickly figured it out. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable for me and my 3 year old son slept through the night. My buddy in the room next door was happy with his room as well. Dish network on the TV made it easy for my son to watch cartoons before bed. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone willing to respect the property. And the price was very fair. Great people in Ely too."

"The Nevada Hotel is an 85 year old hotel/casino in the center of Ely. It’s the best of both worlds. Clean, spotless rooms, with some remodeled into beautiful modern rooms, while others have kept the famous western look while still clean. Those are mostly much larger. Also are decorated with memorabilia from a certain entertainment icon of the past who stayed there. A couple months ago I stayed in the larger Wayne Newton room, which is full of old records , articles, pictures, and information on him. It is fascinating to learn about. This time was a tiny room that I loved. Breakfast including coffee at the Denny’s downstairs off the casino is included as is a free drink from the casino bar. All for less than any of the chain hotels in town. Only complaint is the casino is extremely smoky. Masks are worn, but not while smoking/drinking. Which some locals do constantly! I won enough on video poker to pay for my stay so I can’t complain much! I’ve stayed there maybe 8 times over the years...and this was the best. "

"Wonderful hotel! Clean, spacious and comfortable! I cannot say enough about the beds, the linen on the beds and the comfortable feeling I had from this particular hotel! This is definitely the place to stay in Ely!"

"Liked the detached motor lodge where we had an exterior door on the ground floor for easy room access. Down side is access to the pool and jacuzzi isn't easy since you to walk across the main road ( HW 6) to reach the main complex."

"Pre-booked via AGODA but when we arrived they could not find the booking. Receptionist was very helpful and found rooms for us. Breakfast option would have been useful."
