"I live in Thailand and visit Koh Chang on a fairly regular basis and the KC Grande is my favorite hotel. With the best location in Koh Chang, large, clean rooms, many English TV channels, great wifi, and a fantastic breakfast buffet what’s not to like? They also have a very good exercise facility with a great view and modern machines that all work great. I’ve been a regular guest at this hotel over the years and they never fail to impress me with their English speaking and accommodating staff. "

"Cliff Beach is a wonderful resort, it's honestly the best choice for Kai Bae Beach in comparison to others. Kai Bae is only about a mile and a half long and Cliff Beach offers the only accessible sandy beach with no rocks. I was looking into the Awa and White Knot, their beach is terrible, but they offer great views. Our room was great, we had poolside view and ocean view when on the balcony, access to wifi in the room, and breakfast was included and was pretty decent. The resort offers an array of ocean rental activities from boat rides, snorkeling, to kayaking. Cliff Beach does cater to the Russians, they pretty much over took the hotel, were nice and respectful, however word on the street is that Cliff Beach is the only hotel that will accept them. Unfortunately Koh Chang itself really caters to tourist, you won't get a lot of authentic Thai culture, however it is a beautiful place, great parks, waterfalls, and sandy beaches, if you choose the right hotel:) "

"We originally intended to stay at White Sands Beach but fortunately for us there was no accommodation available for our required dates - and so we found ourselves experiencing the best ever check-in service at the Amari Emerald Cove Resort. That first night we dined at the Just Thai restaurant and had one of the best thai dining experiences ever. Next day we did decide to upgrade our room to one with an ocean view - but for the amount of time we actually spent in our room this really did not make a lot of difference. We found taxis plentiful out front of the hotel and never had to wait for transport. We found this mode of transport to be most suitable for the occasional visit to White Sands Beach and to visit the great local restaurants and massage just 2-3km up the road towards the elephants and waterfall. We were able to swim twice a day at the hotel and also hired kyaks from the hotel at very reasonable rates to checkout some of the islands close by. We also hired an automatic motor bike just out front of the hotel and went exploring to the waterfall (to the north) and to the fishing village markets down south. At the fishing village we lunched at Buddha View restaurant which proved another highlight of our trip. We also availed ourselves of the local tailors to bring home some custom made garments - so we have some great souvenirs of our time on Koh Chang. I think the location was just the best to experience Koh Chang. Close enough to visit White Sands Beach to enjoy the noisy festivities but able to enjoy our stay in the peaceful surrounds of Amari resort and the many local attractions nearby. "

"This is the 2nd time to get back to this hotel. It is in the middle of the island at th east coast, very good of location. The foods are well cooked same quality as Bangkok only half price, I lived almost all of the hotel in Koh chang, this one is definitely the best quality one for sure."

"This was like a dream coming true; staying at a place which has best of everything to offer which you would be thinking while making a booking. Its located on the main road, which is a big plus knowing that this is a beach resort. Has a quick, responsive, responsible, amiable staff which will go out all the way to make you feel special. The hotel will make every effort to not to let you feel bad about your decision of choosing this as your place to stay. Has one of the best beaches with an amazing view. And possibly one of the cleanest in Koh Chang with beautiful clear water as we happened to stay at a neighboring Four Star, just after this and except for a resounding name it was a sheer contrast to our earlier experience at Paradise Resort. The room service was punctual, regular and proficient in their work. Food at the Hotel's restaurant was of very nice quality (if not the best) since we are no Thai so really difficult making a judgment for us, but were comprehensively satiated by the sumptuous food available at a good discount. There were some renovations going on at the children's pool next to the adult pool which was in proper working. Will definitely recommend this place to all our friends. We will miss you KCPR till we meet again. Well done to all the people making it happen and keep up the good work! Bravos!"

"It was really best hotel I have ever stay before! Not 5, 6 or 7 stars!!! So nice and stylish, everything is made of wood, room is amazing (superior room): really huge with a soft bed, coffee machine and several varieties of tea and coffee, cookies and many snacks, aroma lamp with a pleasant lemongrass smell. When I have arrived- senior manager met me and showed everything they have (private island with a transfer and kayaking, pool, gym, sauna, spa...). When I decided to have kayaking- staff had transfered me to a private island waited for me all the time I was there. After kayaking when I came back to my room I had found there 2 desserts for me and my honey. Great surprise!! So, if you are still not sure which hotel to choose- this one is really the BEST hotel in Koh Chang!! I recommend!!!!!! The second 5 stars hotel in Koh Chang Amari is much worse!! We had compared it both, Amari concedes on many criterias."

"This is one of the nicest, centrally located hotels in Koh Chang. The hotel is modern, clean and air conditioned. The beachside restaurant has a view that is out of this world. The staff are cheerful and helpful, each day the chambermaid made our towels into a different shape- one day she even made an elephant!"

"Sea View is the best hotel in Koh Chang… i did a bit of traveling around the island and that is my feedback Location is one of the best points… it is next to the view point where everyone goes to take the best photos …the great thing is you see this view all the time!! The hotel is a good size but it still seem very personal and beautiful, staff are great and zoo helpful and the hotel grounds are very well designed ( even if you need to take a cable car to breakfast… thats something quite unique and the view at breakfast are amazing ) Food is ok, internet is ok on the beach and at the lobby… not in the room as yet…the town of Kai Bai is nice and less commercialized than other places … "
