Dirty”
I don't usually do review on hotel rooms. Im not really a fussy person. But this, I just have to. I had to buy a wet tissue to wipe up the room floor cos its dusty. I wont complain about the facilities for the price. But hygiene is bad. The corridor floor was wet during my 3days stay, they didnt have the urge to mop it. I missed my 6am flight because the receptionist wasnt there for me to check out early morning. They have good working hot showers, but the water is leaking all the way to the bedroom floor. To sum up, price is cheap, but they are dirty.

DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU LATE ARRIVAL- NO ONE WAS THERE. It was disappointing to look for another place”
The hostel confirmed me a reservation where I wrote I will be arriving at 1.30 am. After arriving no one was in the hostel so I had to look for another place to stay in the middle of night and don’t even refund me a money despite I ask for it.

Good pit stop for long term travellers!”
Stayed there for 2 weeks. Firstly, wifi is really good on the reception floor. Don’t try to get connection in your room! It’s slower. Just relax on the sofa and help yourself with free coffee or tea. Some toilets’ walls look dirty it’s actually because of humidity but might be fixed easily, but rooms are clean and pretty wide. Close to the heart of the city and price is better comparing with other hostels. For vacationers, it might be slightly uncomfortable but Definitely good for long term travelers who look for a break for a while

Inexpensive place near a lot of shops and the harbor”
The AC was cold, hot showers, a real mattress, no top sheet though (just a towel), free noodles and tea/coffee for breakfast. Cool view from the roof. Deposit is required for the key. Pigeons outside the window are noisy in the morning. It seems like I always get the room with the snorers : (

High ratings but poor experience”
When I checked in, the staff did not give me the room towel (I did not ask as I thought it would be available in the room) and the shared bathrooms do not have toilet paper. I had to go down from my room and request for both. The shared bathrooms were smelly and the smell permeates the corridor. Luckily, it does not smell till my room. There were dustbins outside of rooms on my floor but when I checked in, there was rubbish in my dustbin. When I checked out the next day, the rubbish was still there (as well as for other rooms). The water pressure was also extremely low, and I had to shower with tiny trickles of water, and at times the water flow was non-existent. Room itself was okay. Near midnight, the staff called my phone and asked me whether I am coming. I told the staff I have already checked in and is in the room, and he told me that he does not see that in the system. All in all, based on this sole unpleasant experience, I would not recommend this hostel. Improvements please!

WORST hostel ever. ”
I’ve stayed in a fairfew bad places in Asia, but this tops the list. Where to start,I don’t understand the good reviews? Firstly, the toilets are absolutely disgusting, barely cleaned,no toilet roll,mouldy,stinking.2- the staff, the two girls are miserable, unhelpful. It rained and we got very wet,we just wanted to dry our trainers as we knew they wouldn’t dry by the morning. The man said yes we could use their dryer, one of the girls stepped in,spoke to him then all of a sudden it was out of use. They were never helpful and try rip you off on tours.3-I’m a smoker, but what I don’t appreciate is locals staying in the rooms, sat outside them smoking in the hostel. Especially when my gf doesn’t smoke. 4-it seems locals live here? And are super rude, spitting everywhere, smoking everywhere,in general, not nice 5-the rooms...well,mouldy,damp,windows don’t close so they flap open all night, stains EVERYWHERE,no furniture at all. 6-the music outside is so bad,and loud until 1am A DUMP

Stay here if you want to be traumatize. AVOID”
1)The staffs(2 young ladies) at reception lie straight to our face, we walked- in they said no private room left, we told them there are private room shows available online and they insisted no room. Then my partner and I left the counter after being turn down and booked the room at down stair and went back within 2 minutes, same staffs were so shock and demand to see the booking proof, we showed them and they accepted it without giving us any explanation. 2) We were given the room key and when we arrived the room, the room was not ready, the mattress has no bed sheet, pillow and used bed sheet was on the floor. We had to go back to the reception, but was told they need at least half an hour to get the room ready, despite we are so tired after long walk to the hotel we had to leave the room and come back. 3)Most traumatizing part of the stay, the toilet smell so bad due to humility, and the dirty water stay on the floor when you shower, and it goes up to at least 4cm high.

Not recommended”
Worst location, because of loud music every day from 6pm to 1am (loud as in a nightclub). Very dirty, there is trash outside the rooms and dirt and bad smell in the bathrooms, like not been cleaned for months. There are a few positives, but they are not worth mentioning, because overall it is one of the worst hostels.

worst experience in any accommodation!”
there's a bar downstairs which plays very loud music every night - wasn't able to sleep in all 4 nights we lost water twice and they don't have sufficient back up water tank, staff blaming the water provider - so we can't use toilet as there were no water generally not clean, open trash bins that are full of on the hallways had difficulty communicating in english with the staff

good staffs good location”
The hostel is on the gaya st. Famous restaurants, atms, pharmacies, and souvenir shops r near herr. Sunday market is held right next to this hostel. Staffs r kind and facilities r okay compared to the price. But toilets r little bit hard to use because they always got wet and it is little bit noisy because of the bar right next to the hostel. However, overall, it is fine.

The hostel needs to really improve its cleanliness and facilities”
Despite its strategic location, this hostel needs to consider fixing many things. Toilet, the availability of the running water, amenities. By the way, this hostel is located near restaurant and bar which you need to prepare for a loud music until midnight. If you really want to sleep early, consider finding another hostel!

Staffs are very accomodating and they are helpful. the lobby is clean. the noise downstairs is nice and would not affect the female room. but the shower dont have hot. the faucet is broken pls replace a new one. Also i suggest to make some instructions when guests check in regarding the hotel toiletries and its coffee or anything which is free. because i stay for 3nights without knowing that there's a free coffee and bread in the morning. but overall satisfied guest here
