1. It easy to go to hotel from Kansai Airport by Nankai railway at Airport station to Nankai-namba station and then you can walk in subway to Midosuji Line and exit at Exit13 to Midosuji Building ,have Alevater to First cabin hotel . Reception on 4 floor. - Hotel to Dotonburi Only 5 minute where near Shinsaibachi Road, Klico Man . -you can buy USJ ticket at lawson where opposite Midosuji Build. 2. In room have brush,bath towel,TV,Headphone,sleep wear and you can keep valuable in drawer under the bed,they have key to lock . 3.They have Wifi in room and living room 4. !!!! Bathroom is SHARED BATHROOM it surprise me. First time to stripped with the other guests. but they have electric hair dryer,hair washing, shampoo,soup, make up cleansing etc. 5. Reception can speak English and she very lovely ,kind . and quick reply E-mail . 6. Check out before 10 am.

Superb”

The location of this hotel is superb. It is located above the Namba subway station. The best and cheapest way to get there from Kansai Airport is to take the Nankai Line. The regular express train is fine, it is like a normal subway train in terms of comfort. If you're tired after your flight, consider paying a little more for the express Rapit train - the seats are more comfortable for napping. I do not recommend taking the JR line from Kansai Airport. It usually takes longer, and costs more. From Namba station (Nankai line), it's a short walk underground to Midosuji line. Take exit 13 and you will come right to the elevator. Take it to the 4th floor reception. The hotel is located a 5-minute walk from the ever popular Dotonbori. It is nearer to Ebisubashi, which you can walk through on the way to Dotonbori. Shinsaibashi is on the other side. The cabins are comfortable, and more spacious than the business class cabins at First Class Akihabara. There is space to put your luggage. Note that there are no locks on the sliding doors to individual cabins. Overall, I found this hotel to be even more peaceful than the Akihabara branch. It was well-occupied, but I was never once roused from sleep by a noisy neighbour.

Great Location, but no WIFI”

a cross between a hostel, hotel and a capsule, first cabin provided individual rooms which housed a spacious bed, 32 inch sony bravia tv at the foot of the bed and all sorts of amenities such as a set of pyjamas, body sponge, fluffy towels, slippers and more. the shared bathroom had an array of branded face care products and there was even a dry sauna and a lovely hot tub for soaking. location-wise, first cabin is great as it is connected to the namba station - on the midosuji subway line side. just across the road are the lively areas of shinsaibashi and dotonbori, which are great to explore in the evening. from namba main station, one can get a train straight to kansai airport.

A typical modern Japanese style accommodation”

My first stay in a Cabin Hotel. Very special experience. It is a kind of luxury dormitory. In a big room are some dozend boxes which include bed, TV, desk. Cabins are to be closed with an intransparent, foldable curtain. So there remains open space in the upper head area and foot area. Your sleep depends on the respitory abilities of the guys in the neighbouring cabins as well as on the amount of late arrivers and early birds. Guests are a mix of young folk and business people. The common bathroom and shower cells are in good condition and cleaned several times a day. Big advantage, the hotel has elevator connection to exit 13 of Osaka Namba station

A great place to stay in Osaka”

This is my second time to stay at First Cabin Midosuji Namba. the location is perfect, directly next to the shopping area and the main train station. the facilities are good and staffs are helpful. the only fault is that sometimes there is a smoke smell at the entrance and staircase, but it doesn't influence the sleeping area.

"Gigantic" pod for a room”

This is a place that is a cross between the usual capsule pod and a hotel room. It's big and comfortable and the location is unbeatable. Basement floor is the Midosuji line and it is a stone's throw away from the Nankai Namba line and action-packed Dotonbori (and the famous and super yum, Gyukatsu Motomura). I loved my stay here. Be warned though. No private shower stalls as they have an onsen-style bath sitch going. Not for those who aren't too comfy getting nekkid in front of strangers (and friends/family if you are traveling with them!). I didn't know this when I booked but quickly got over it. I just chuck it to Japanese acculturation. The contrast bath is best after a day of walking/touring/shopping in Osaka. Will mostdef stay here again. Unbeatable price.

Exceptional”

Would like to thank First Cabin!..We couldn't call to Malaysia on both the provided free phone and our own mobile phones. The front desk officer allowed us to call, not once but twice, on their front desk phone. We were expecting to pay for the overseas call but upon check- out, we were told the calls were complimentary. We were so touched! We're so sorry we didn't get to thank the two officers who attended to us that night (16th Jan Wednesday, 1130pm). They were so friendly, understanding and efficient! Greatly appreciated! Thank you to the 2 officers and First Cabin for your generosity. I was very surprised how clean everywhere was. Spotless! I thoroughly enjoyed myself during my one night stay! The location is perfect! Just at namba station! I would recommend First Cabin to my friends!

i stayed 3 nights at the First Cabin Midosuji-Namba, the staffs there were very friendly and able to communicate with basic English. Clean room with good location, very near to Namba-Shinsaibashi shopping arcade and Namba subway/train station.

Great location, clean, nice onsen”

Beside the hotel is Namba subway station. Easy to access Namba Walk, Ōsaka Namba Station, Kansai Airport, Ebisubashi-suji Shopping Street. Facilities such as public bath, sauna, massage, safety box, speed LAN & Wifi network are available. The rooms are clean & quite. Employee can speak fluent English. Food streets & convenience stall are just opposite to the hotel. I had a great experience staying at first Cabin in Namba. I will definitely recommend to all my friends.

Straightforward, simple and quality service”

Pros - Capsule unit and bed is larger than I expected - Shower rooms, toilet and lavatory are very clean - Location is in the middle of the Ebisu Bashi Suji etc. shopping streets, Namba Parks Mall, Dotonbori area, all in just a 5 minute walk or less - Location is very accessible by subway, it's like Exit 13 was made just for the hotel - Wifi is very reliable - The jersey clothing you are provided with are comfortable and useful Cons - You can hear sounds from nearby capsule units; too bad if you are next to a snoring tenant - You cannot control temperature of your own capsule - Locker under the bed is not very big, may not fit regularly sized stroller luggage - You cannot lock your own capsule unit Over-all, First Cabin is a very straightforward hotel that is perfect for solo travelers or even group travelers who don't mind staying in separate units. It is in a very good location and is very accessible by subway. Some hostels may be cheaper but service and quality in First Cabin are more or less guaranteed. I will definitely book here again if I go back to Osaka.

First Cabin Midosuji-Namba is on a good location in Osaka: very close to popular tourist spots and transportation stations. Staff is very accommodating and service is very good!

Good for shopping and gourmet”

First Cabin is located at the centre of Osaka, Namba, where most of the shopping and dining places are within 5-10 minutes walk. It is located on the 4/F of a commercial building, which has direct access to Subway exit 13. The modified hostel or capsule hotel is definitely a good choice for solo traveler which you can enjoy the private space and quietness.

Great location and clean place”

Pro: Very very convenient, the location is great and the subway is just located at B1. Easy to go everywhere and basically can walk to many places. Facilities are great!! Many items are provided and can still enjoy onsen after a long day of walk. Cabin size is reasonable for one pax and the bed is not bad (anyway you will be tired from all the walking so really doesnt matter, lol) Con: English level at the reception is pretty bad IMO. There are a few times I had difficulties communicating simple English with the receptionist which is a little frustrating. Another issue is you cannot lock the cabin so depend whether you are comfortable to just leave your stuff in the cabin. There is a drawer with lock provided but it is pretty small so you can only keep really valuable items inside. Definitely the luggage cannot fit in. Both cons are not a deal breaker for me though. Overall, strongly recommend this place! I will definitely going back again if i am visiting Osaka.

Good for most backpackers”

The location is very good. You can take elevator from the subway Namba up to First cabin without going outside. The staff are friendly and are at the reception all the time. The room is big enough to fit the large luggage. The public bathroom is kind of small. The place sometime smell of smoke. The guests sometimes don't act according to the rules and talk so loudly that I couldn't sleep. But if I have a chance to go back to Namba, this place will be in one of my choice for sure.

Great location small but comfy”

It was everything as described. Photos were accurate. If you grab the sightseeing magazine from the airport it is right on midosuji road. Once you know where it is you can access it via the namba subway entrance. Moreover, it is really close to dotonbori and the mile long shopping walkway. The staff were so kind and were able to answer all of my questions. However, it is like having a dormatory type of accomodation with private rooms.

Efficient as usual”

Perfect place to stay for solo traveller in Osaka. Like other First Cabin hotels, quite efficient, clean and value for money. Public bath here is much better than the one in Tokyo. Plus you have a sauna. Overall nice stay with perfect location in Namba.

Upscale capsule hotel experience”

Our family of four were split into one men's and three women's capsules. Our grown daughters live in Japan, have stayed in capsule hotels in Tokyo, and say First Cabin is not a "real" capsule; i.e., it's more upscale (hence the "First Cabin" in the name, which we took to mean "first class" as on a plane). But that was just right for my husband and I, who are in our sixties! And the girls enjoyed the luxurious touches, too--like the splendid women's spa with a large, hot soaking tub. Some may find the beds a bit hard, but I slept great. I thought it might be noisy with so many people coming and going in our hallway, but I was wrong. There's a lounge where the sexes can mix so we all played cards and ate breakfast there. The breakfast cost extra ($5 each) but was well worth it--many food choices were available, buffet-style. Location near all the shopping, many restaurants, and neon and nightlife was another plus. Highly recommend this unique lodging opportunity!

Facilities cleanliness need to be improved”

it was my first time to stay at First Cabin Midosuji-Namba. Cleanliness not very good. and the noise was disturbing. because the walls between rooms was not concerte. just a plastic wall. However the location was very very good, almost no walking needed from the metro. and the staffs were very very nice. I will come again if go to Osaka again.

LOVE IT”

Location is superb! From the map it looks like its far from NAMBA stn (the one that connects to the Airport) But its actually quite near! Its nearest to Namba stn and Osaka Namba stn. Dotonbori is walking distance. So near to Don Quijote The downside, is the Baths is open. So if you're not used to open baths, this is a heads up. I stayed for 4 nights so I somehow got used to it. haha That aside, the facilities are top notch! Vending machines plenty! The staff are nice and not difficult. So far i think Ill be back, as long as the price remains that way. =)
