Hidden Gem of Singapore Hotel”

five/6 Hotel Splendour was the last hotel of my Singapore/Johor Trip And as review said, they had a lovely free mini-bar And also as the review i chose Deluxe King Room, which air con is at the end of the bed but no transparent bathroom A_A Please have a look the pictures of Air con location before booking. The room size, i could say it's not belongs to Singapore should have, much like i am in Bangkok or Malaysia. The room's window cannot open, it bit smelly when move in after air con opened few hour is fine. The bed, cusion and TV setup is great come with NETFLIX we sleep late >_< The location is great 10mins from MRT, and it surrounded by good resturant and durian street. i think until midnight you would easy to found foods to eat and more than 10 convenience store nearby.

Excellent place to stay in especially if going to Singapore National Stadium complex ”

We stayed for five nights at five/6 Hotel Splendour to watch the WTA tennis finals at the Singapore Indoor stadium. The room is cozy and is equipped with a smart TV that has Netflix, Eleven sports, and Amazon access. The bathroom is of good size with nice water pressure. The bed is a Serta, which is very comfortable and great to rest in after a long day of touring and walking. The hotel does not have a restaurant but walk a few minutes and you'd reach the main street filled with dining options. The best thing about this hotel is the people- receptionists and housekeeping personnel were friendly, cheerful, and happy to help you in any way they can. Location is pretty good as well especially if going to events at the Singapore National Stadium (about 10-15 minutes away by taxi). Will stay again here next year!

Beyond expectation”

I was skeptical at first since it was in geylang . But my oh my i was blown away .. The cleanliness was tiptop , the room is spacious enough , the shower at good temperature , the room ammenities was sufficient and even has a weighing scale , the room interior is simple and nice,has a smart tv eith netflix n youtube. The best part of it is , the BED ! The most comfy bed i ever laid on. Made me wanna stay in it all day n night . Receptionist is very nice and does their job swiftly. Will definitely come back again as my go-to staycay hotel. Thank you five/6 splendour for the good experience for my girlfriend birthday staycay !

Memorable 1st trip to SG ”

Booked at Five/6: Oriental King room, after long search for best affordable hotels with necessary facilities in SG. Brand New Modern Hotel with posh interiors in Quite locality with lots of options for Asian cuisine restaurants & shops nearby at walk-able distance. Staff were courteous, friendly & helpful with special mention to Ms.Ratna. Room was with same interiors as seen in pictures on here, free parking provided,free mini bar, comfortable bed with Large curved LED smart TV - giving 3Star hotel experience. No hassle in late check-in. Thanks to Agoda & Five/6 hotel for making my trip a memorable one. Willing to stay again on my next trip. Strongly recommend for others. Appreciate their efforts towards Green Initiatives & maintaining Building regulation Standards.

Stopover in Singapore”

The five/six Hotel Splendour was a great place for us to stay for a couple of days. The staff were friendly and helpful. We found the room to be very clean and comfortable. Everything was in good working order and the bed was great. It is a quiet hotel in a good location and just around the corner from a shopping strip with a great variety of places to eat. The Kallang MRT station is a ten minute walk away and is situated on the green line which runs from Changi Airport to the CBD area. This is great if you have a plane to catch. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant so you can't order breakfast or meals but there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores close by. We would stay here again

Exceptional”

I made this last minute booking due to my other previous hotel booking which was cancelled due to some reason. Overall i am satisfied with the booking i made. I got the Deluxe King Room at a very affordable price. The room was clean and big enough for my husband and i. The room smells nice, i even took a photo of the air freshener to get it for my house. Bed was comfortable. Separated toilet and shower. Aircon is cooling too (some hotels aircon is not cold). Location is good, near Geylang, Kallang, Bugis. Nearby eateries. Friendly staffs. Even though it's a non smoking room, there is smoking corner below with table and chairs, oh there is drinks vending machine too.

Totally worth more than what I paid for. ”

Decent space. Clean and new bathroom with complete toiletries. Best bed yet! Smart TV with decent network Free decent wifi speed connection for streaming. THE FREAKING MINI BAR! 2 root beers 1 isotonic drink 1 orange soda 1 beer. Water dispenser for cold water (carafe provided) The staff was the one of the most accomodating and friendly people i have encountered in my 3 days in sg. Cons? Hmmm no bell boys or someone to assist with luggage at the entrance. No big deal just unusual. Probably because of an all female lobby crew. 5/6, you mean 6/5 for a splendid stay!

Great place, value for money, patient staff.”

Was offered a free room upgrade during check in (due to low occupancy I suspect as I booked the room when prices were down). Staff was very accomodating and very very patient, as I felt that I was a very unpleasant guest during my stay there. This review is written months after my stay as I felt this was the least I could do. Interior of the room is very modern, equipped with the latest technology such as a curved TV, soundbar, netflix etc.. Bathroom is also pretty neat, although not recommended for business travellers. If you are willing to spend just a little extra dough, this is the best hotel you can get in the whole of Geylang. Staff 10/10 will recommend

Spacious and clean quadruple room, but the breakfast is a letdown...”

Nice and well kept room for a family of four, but the breakfast needs some work: it is located offsite, a few meters walk from the hotel along the main Geylang Rd, and the choices are not that good and very limited. I availed of their breakfast once, which included stir-fried noodles, fried rice, congee, onion rings, and I think some fried chicken skin, bread with butter and a selection of jams, coffee and tea. I don’t know whether the hotel management is aware of the kind of breakfast that is being served to the guest. But I think having an offsite breakfast is not doing the hotel any good. If hotel guests are offered this kind of breakfast at this restaurant, the reviews fall on the hotel’s table, not on the restaurant’s. Needless to say I did not avail of the breakfast anymore after that one time. But other than that, we had an enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel to stay with in gaylang area”

It was nice to be back in hotel five 6 hotel . Don't know that my last feedback in agoda make the hotel OM to wait for me at my point of checking in , Nice talking to Mr Ray he a very nice and understanding person. Mylast feedback is about my room is very dusty all over and I also understand that is a new reopen hotel but this time I am happy to see improve in housekeeping think they can do a better jobs than what they are doing now. FO doing a very good job by calling my name when seeing me. Just a few point : 1. As a guest myself stay more than 150 rooms night per year hope to see , hotel can give a free upgranding to a bigger room and also can give a early check in and late check out . 2. Hotel May be can come out with some VIP program like free discount food coupons or more free beer. 3. Is good they the hotel can pre-block my booking room as i alway like to request fir a early check in or late check out. Thanks and I am sure be back in five 6 hotel soon to see the imporve

Recommendable”

Pros: - Manager and staff are nice and friendy. They greet their customers all the time. They were able to attend all our needs. Clean rooms. You can see the staff always cleaning. They change your towels, comforter, pillow cases everyday. Manager was able to provide me discounts and options for my next visit in singapore. Water is free. Quiet place. Airconditioning is good. The hotel might not be the 4 or 5 star hotel but it felt like home to me. Cons: - 9 minutes walk to the nearest train. (Not that big deal coz you can ride a bus too. You can also enjoy walking and enjoy the side of singapore.)

Brand new hotel - very clean”

The hotel is very new and very clean. Rates are pretty good too for a triple room. The hotel's location is in the middle of Geylang with plenty of food choices virtually anytime of the day and night. Staff was very helpful and courteous and I would say, is even better than those you find at 5 star hotels. I would stay at this hotel again if I visit Singapore again.

Great Hotel”

I travel to Singapore for weekend escapade and choose to stay at this hotel because of its good review. It was very satisfying. The receptionist name Mina (from Korea) was very nice and helpful. the room was clean and nothing much to complain. Near to eateries. Not a problem for Halal food because there are plenty of halal restaurants nearby. The only drawback if I may say is it is quite far from MRT station. Easily 17 minutes walk of a young and energetic man to Kallang station. Mind you that Singapore's weather is quite hot and humid. However, you got other choices of transportation such as Bus which is quite near to the hotel. Overall a very good hotel and will definitely consider this hotel for my upcoming visit to Singapore.

Very nice hotel with reasonable price”

The hotel seems to be new, the staff is very kind and friendly and useful. The hotel is located in tourist area and nearby bus stations which is convenient for you to travel places in SG. The hotel is clean and well-maintaned. The room is big as compared with the other hotel in same area and same price :) Worth the money. I will come back this hotel again if they still keep the quality and the price 😊😊😊

Superb Hotel”

The hotel and room is real pretty. Really stands out among the other hotels in Geylang. It puts all the other hotels to shame. For a really affordable price, the bed is worth the money because it'ssuper duper comfy! Just like in four stars hotel. We could just watch anything we want on the TV because there is a android tv box installed. We can comfortably enjoy dramas or movies on the comfort of the bed! It is just great!

The Room and Staff are execllent”

I think the hotel impresses us a lot since its our first time in Singapore, the location is not very convenient since it is approximately 10 minutes walk from the MRT Geylang, however, if you can travel by the bus, then you can just travel to MRT Lavender or Buggis, so it's not very bad. The hotel room is fairly small, I won't complain about it since we are in Singapore, but the interior design is really modern and smart, we like it so much, moreover, the staffs are really helpful and sweet. we enjoy our stay very much for the three nights.

Expect the Unexpected”

Typically, when I told my friends that it is at Geylang, they judge. But this (considered new) hotel has the thing if you wanna laze around; it practically has a Smart TV and that in itself is a steal for the money, considering the least. It also has a mini-fridge that's stocked with drinks so you'd don't have to worry about dehydration. The staff is overwhelmingly helpful and friendly, and it feels almost like home with the way they treat you. The hotel's minimalist approach in their interior decor is appealing to me, as well. And the place is right smack near the part of Geylang, where the hustle and bustle of nightlife are at.

I would def recommend this hotel! *2mins walk going to nearest bus stop *food/restaurants/convinience store is just around the corner only 2 mins walk also *with korean and pinoy staff at the hotel *free coffee and water *good service *clean rooms and hallway *artistic rooms and lobby *very safe place to stay *very good internet connection The staff are just amazing and welcoming! We’re so impressed with how they treat their guests. Feels like we’re staying in a five star hotel.

The hotel is fairly new so all of its facilities are in excellent working condition. The rooms are not spacious but the soft bed, comfortable pillows, clean towels, functioning AC, spotless shower rooms, free drinks in the minifridge and the overall ambience of the place make up for it. Just 2 blocks away is the main Geylang Street which has loads of restaurants and minimarts!

Always smiling & friendliest greetings even on a very late request for an iron & ironing board at night. Definitely five/6 is a priority on our next hotel booking coming through Singapore .
