"I am a frequent traveller to Langkawi, and I must say that I am incredibly particular about the level of service that I receive. I have always enjoyed Meritus Pelangi and Resort World Langkawi's hospitality that I decided to give Berjaya Langkawi Resort a try. Since Berjaya is a 5-star hotel, the service should be on par or better. I was quite hesitant at first to choose another hotel since I might be disappointed. I don't like disappointments. I only have a short time every month to enjoy my time off work. I have always wanted to try Berjaya because I like their website, location and the reviews are encouraging. I was convinced. I decided to give it a go. I cancelled my reservation with Meritus Pelangi and booked Berjaya. Having to contend with the bustling city life in KL, Langkawi is a sweet escape. The best place for me to enjoy my sparkling wine and champagne. I was so excited for my stay with Berjaya Langkawi Resort that I have packed my bags two days in advance! I even had my interior designers to adopt Berjaya Langkawi Resort's Rainforest Studio interior for my newly bought apartment. Berjaya's high level of personalisation has not disappointed me. I felt their sincerity of wanting to provide the best customer service, and I appreciate that. It is one of the best places to stay with a fantastic buffet breakfast, clean room, fresh bedsheets, just like any other 5-star hotel. There's a private beach too. Such a calm place. A highly recommended place to stay. I will book this place again."

"My husband and I have had a pleasant stay at the Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa. It was our first time there and we didn't expect it to be so comfortable. The Villa was spacious and I enjoyed the private pool and the easy access to the beach. The Yoga session and the Spa was great and the breakfast spread was excellent! Shuib and Izwan, the staff that were in charge of the villas have been helpful and made us feel at home during our stay there. I've stayed at various hotels in Langkawi previously and I believe that Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa is very lucky to have well-mannered and friendly staff such as them. I look forward to coming back to Langkawi and staying at this hotel again in the near future. "

"We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. And it was totally worth. Staff was extremely friendly, private beach was superb and the view was amazing. Very calm and quit place (Although there was a renovation going on it didn't affect for our stay at all).Most of the time there was no one in the beach and it was like our own beach. Fantastic bed and nicely decorated room. We had complimentary fruit basket, delicious cake and chocolates in the room. I have stayed in few 5 star and 4 star hotels in Malaysia(KL, Penang, Cameron Highlands, Malacca) and this one is the best out of all of them. I read some reviews before book this hotel and some people were complaining about the food and WiFi. I am not sure if they have enhanced recently, but in my experience WiFi was good so does food. We had dinner and breakfast from the hotel and we liked the food. I have to specially mention about the staff. They were super friendly and attentive. They deserved a good review. I wish if I could stay few more days. I would definitely go there again. And would recommend to others. "

"It was our first time staying at the The St. Regis Langkawi and the memories that we had are unforgettable. My close cousin and I decided to have a quick vacation in one of the islands in Malaysia as soon as the CMCO in the country was lifted. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by some friendly and welcoming staff in the hotel. It was a very pleasant feeling. It was a big surprise for us because our Premier Andaman Sea room had been upgraded for free to a much better one, St Regis Suite. You could imagine how excited and happy we were, we sure did! The overall experience was superb, one of the best luxury hotels that I have had stayed. All staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. Kudos to the team! The suite was just perfect for both of us - classy, super clean and practical. We did not go out of the hotel to explore Langkawi at all during our stay as we wanted to relax and lazy around, let's put it this way. Breakfast selection was marvellous! Simply splendid stay!"

"The Datai Langkawi is a great hotel in a great location. The facilities are located within the rain forest and has a beautiful private beach The facilities and the services are the best I have ever had in a 5 star hotel. I would say everything is perfect Having said that, it is wort mentioning that Langkawi Island has little to offer to the visitor We enjoyed very much our stay at the hotel, but other than enjoying its facilities, there is no much to do in the rest of the island Be prepared to enjoy your stay as if you were in an all inclusive. "Nice and luxurious hotel with high service standards. Hotel looks new and well maintained. Been to a couple of 5 star hotels in Malaysia particularly in JB but the service standards of Danna cannot be matched. My flight is in the evening so i requested for a late check out. Initially we were given up till 3pm. I asked if i can check out at 4pm instead as my flight is at 5.55pm. The manager eventually obliged and i was really grateful for that as im with a 2 year old toddler and i had to factor in her nap times etc. Not sure if other hotels will allow such complimentary check outs. The swimming pool is great too. Hard to fault the hotel in any way but if i must mention the disadvantage of staying in this hotel would be the location which is far away from town and cheap local street food. Since it was my first time in Langkawi I was not sure of the more happening areas which are Pantai Cenang and Kuah. Travelling out via taxis to these areas 1 way costs 30 to 40rm. Spent quite a far bit on travelling out as I wanted to explore Langkawi. I also engaged a private driver with the hotel which costs 180rm for 3 hours. Quite expensive in my view but be prepared to spend when u stay in this hotel since it is located at the western end of Langkawi. The 5 star hotels tend to be located privately away from town. The only advantage of the location of the Danna is that it is near to the cable car which costs 10rm taxi ride 1 way. All in all my stay in Danna was pleasant and memorable and i would definitely recommend it. "

"Being in a 5star hotel, u expect 5 star services which this hotel definitely uphold to. From the time we booked the hotel to arrival and check out, all the staff gave their best. Only neglected area is the pool and restaurant area. Probably they were short of staff but the services wasn't up to my expectation. The best service crews are the buggy drivers transporting us anywhere and everywhere upon our request, always cheerful and greeted us everytime. "

"Maneh Villas offer individual, beautiful, modern and clean accommodation with all the comfort and privacy one can wish for a holiday accommodation. Very comfortable king size bed, espresso maker, fridge with a small freeze, daily cleaning, fully working wifi. For breakfast that is served to your villa one can select British and Malesian versions. The private pool and comfortable sun loungers offer wonderful opportunities to spend lazy time, read books and take a refreshing dips over the day. The personnel is super friendly and professional. The Maneh Villas are situated in Pantai Tengah which is nice and peaceful part of the beach with lots of restaurants, minimarkets, taxfree shopping and other services. The white powder sandy beach is nice and the sun sets unforgettable. I cannot enough recommend this place for all wishing to spend a peaceful dream holiday on Langkawi Island."
