Location couldn’t be better”

Modern, clean hotel with great facilities and nice rooms. Staff are brilliant, always ready to help with a smile. It’s less than five minutes’ walk to Terminal 21, and if you take the back gate behind the hotel, it’s a similar distance to the George and Dragon Pub, which has the best western food in town. We spent four nights in Korat and were happy with this choice. Would stay here again.

For the price, this hotel is the best! Awesome location, good breakfast and great staff I wouldn’t ask for more. Our family have been to Korat for more than 10 times but after we found this hotel, for the last four trips we chose to stay here.

Big older nicer hotel near shopping centers”

Try to get City view with Terminal 21 in sight.. Great to see its Tower illuminated at night time. Rooms are big and clean.. limited charging outlets. Good variety breakfast.. buy 2 beers and get one is a bad deal and expensive. Menu is very affordable and some dishes very good.. A good experience in Korat..

Very Nice Hotel”

This Hotel is very acceptable. The staff are friendly and speak adequate English. The rooms are well presented though very similar in design and style as many Hotels in the price range. It is a shame that information in the room is lacking in everything except a detailed explanation of every possible item in the room and how much it will cost you if damaged or missing on check out. For the first time, I encountered a central control panel beside the bed that takes care of the air conditioning, the tv. But I didn't find out until I went to reception to ask why my TV didn't appear to be working. Power comes from a button on that Control panel and then the remote comes into use to switch on and select Channels etc. They could easily provide more useful information in the room about the hotel and its facilities. But this is a small gripe and I have no problem in recommending this as a nice place to stay and within 5 minutes walking distance to "Terminal 21". One of the best Malls in Thailand, I think.

Great value for money. ”

Close enough to main road and transport (baht bus, tuk tuk etc) to The Mall or large supermarket almost directly across. Breakfast was a small buffet (Thai and western), cereal, or ABF and eggs cooked to order. WiFi in room okay and clean. As with a lot of Thai hotels, the bed and pillow was a little hard, so didn't sleep that well. Didn't use any other facilities, such as pool, so unable to comment on that. Staff were nice and I would recommend the hotel for those seeking to stay within the city area, a reasonable distance to shopping and of course, value for money.

Fortune Rajpruek Hotel is a remodeled/ refurbished older hotel. This shows in places. Overall though, it's quite nice and staff is very helpful, welcoming and professional. The location is close to Terminal 21 (big shopping mall), but its a difficult walk [there] because of heavy traffic in the area. Breakfast was just average.

Chose this hotel close to Saint Mary's hospital and Korat fertility clinic. Near Big C and Terminal 21 shopping center. Nice staff, serve decent breakfast and after.

It was “Fine””

I wasn’t a big fan of Fortune Rajpruek in virtually any capacity. The staff was mostly disinterested, unhelpful, and standoffish. There was no service. The room was fine - a bit on the small side - and the best was good enough, but every time someone closed (or slammed) a door, I heard it. It was disruptive and unpleasant. The one advantage of Fortune Pajpruek is its location across from Terminal 21. Theoretically, it’s much more convenient. There are some bars and restaurants on a parallel street within 10-15m walk. There’s a Big C across from Terminal 21. All that is good. The hotel isn’t. You could do worse. You can also do better. I relocated to the Imperial Hotel, which was EXACTLY the same price with standards of comfort and service that far, far, far, far, far exceeded anything of Fortune Rajpruek. Its only downside is it is an 8-10 minute drive away. Once I relocated, it was hardly an inconvenience because I loved every moment I stayed at the Imperial and was happy as a lamb to leave Fortune Rajpruek.

Although the hotel has changed its name, the interior of the room remains the same. Old furniture but good cleaniness. Location is just directly opposite the newly built Terminal 21 and along the main road leading to The Mall. Recommended for stay for its location and good staff service.

hotel was lovely, unfortunately there was a cockroach in our bathroom. staffs English was not so good but think that's due to hotel not being in a tourist place. would stay again tho. food was lovely especially the pizza. even got to help make our own cocktails.

Plus + Location close to Terminal 21 mall, although you need to cross 6 lane busy street. Dangerous! + Good service from staff. Even parked our car. + Breakfast buffet with filtered coffee. + Great panorama views from our executive room. + Gym. Minus - Cleaning not good. - Hotel needs a renevation. New owner skipped this part. - Pool is small and dirty. Showers broken. No pool bar (it's now a storage). - Room layout is awful. - Aircon noise. - Pricy minibar. - Far from the real centre of city. - Hotel area looks dodgy. Closest supermarket 500m. No other restaurants than those in terminal 21. Summarum: little bit expensive ex luxury hotel. Plus minus zero feeling.

I booked this hotel by reading the reviews and seeing that it is close to Terminal 21. Although Terminal is basically across the street, it is a task to actually get across the street (traffic)! Good: 1. Even with their limited English, the front desk staff were helpful 2. Very good breakfast compared to other similar hotels in this part of Thailand. Bad: 1. The room smelled of mildew and housekeeping spraying the room didn't help. 2. The shower fixture were almost impossible to use.

Room looks great, but unfortunately bathroom not up to same standard :(... Overall okay, good location, just bad bathroom... Also struggle to get a taxi for less than 100baht (minimum), but this a Korat problem...

Old hotel with some facelift”

This is a typical older upcountry hotel. It has gone through some recent facelift though it still gives you that dated feeling (from furniture, carpet, lighting, bathroom fixtures and so on). Good things about this hotel include its proximity to Terminal 21 (I wouldn't recommend you to walk that 500 m because Thai roads are not really friendly to pedestrians) and the air con is cold enough. Their executive suite is not cheap. You can pay three to four hundred baht more for a room in the most modern hotel in the city. The hotel does not appear to have a bell boy to help with luggage. Breakfast is very ordinary.

High hospitality factor”

Rwception staff: big compliment, Thai careness. Dinner in the restaurant excellent value for money, Thai dishes x 3, 2 persons rice, 4 Singha's and a shot of Wodka......hardly 1.000 thb and excellent(!) taste. The room had city view also on Terminal 21. Unfortunately the switchboard didn't work properly to switch off the airconditioning. But room clean, many TV channels and I paid 1.050 thb for room excl. Breakfast. Very affordable for such location.
