Luxury hotel with friendly and courteous staff”

having spent the previous 3 weeks in rural india we felt we needed a good night's sleep and a hot shower before our journey home. we encountered the 'airport greeters' from the 4 seasons when we arrived in india. although we weren't staying at that hotel they were incredibly kind and helpful and so when it came to book a hotel for our return journey we were determined to book a room at the 4 seasons. booking a room via the internet was easy and we decided to splash out and get a deluxe room with sea views. we returned to mumbai by train and took a taxi to the hotel. this proved slightly problematic because the address on the e mail confirmation gave the address as 'central mumbai' (a quite specific area, apparently). our taxi driver, therefore, had some difficulty locating the hotel. arriving at half seven in the morning, we decided to pay extra so that we could check in for an extra half day. it was well worth it. the room was superb; comfortable, clean and well equipped. the bed was incredibly comfortable. my only grouse was that i got the impression from the web site that the internet was part of the deal, it wasn't. our room was 'refreshed' several times during the few hours we stayed there. we ate in the cafe prato. we were, perhaps, a bit early for lunch, so i suppose that's why we had a bit of wait for our food, despite there being no other customers. the food was very good and, anyway, we weren't in a hurry. we spent the afternoon by the pool where we were indulged by the friendly staff. a swim in the pool was refreshing! breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. generally, the hotel seemed to be used mostly by business people rather than travellers like ourselves - but we were being self indulgent. all of the staff were brilliant, including the driver that took us to the airport.

The best service I have ever received from a hotel”

I dont normally submit reviews but our stay at The Four Seasons was so impressive that I was compelled to do so this time. I have never received such attentive service from hotel staff before. They went out of the way to ensure that our stay in Mumbai was as pleasant as possible. The roof top bar is really cool and is the perfect way to end a busy day in mumbai. Even if you are not staying in the hotel then the bar is def on things to do. Im looking forward to staying at other Four Seasons hotels to see if they live up to this hotel

An oasis in the heart of a bustling city”

situated in the heart of one of the most crowded, thriving and fascinating cities in south asia, the four seasons offers everything that the holiday or business traveler requires for a comfortable, relaxing and successful trip. the rooms are beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable, the hotel facilities from the spa and gym to the restaurants and roof top bar are all fantastic and the location could not be better. it is a difficult city to get around at times with lots of traffic at all time of the day and night, the four seasons is located in the heart of the city which enables you to get around to all the tourist spots, business district and entertainment areas without to much trouble. possibly the best hotel in mumbai.

Oasis”

We were picked up at the airport by a very nice hotel car, the hotel is very modern, nicely decorated and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is very good, a wide variety. At night we went to the rooftop, supposed to be the best in Mumbai, the only minus in this hotel is the pool a bit small for a Four Seasons hotel. Definitely I would go back to this hotel if I have to travel to Mumbai again.

Convenient location and great hotel”

My stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai was a pleasant experience. My family and i had regularly attended Sunday Brunch at the hotel when we lived in Mumbai, but had never stayed in the hotel.

Blissful, Luxury and a buffet breakfast to die for”

One of the great hotels we have stayed at. The staff were exceptional in their friendliness and attention to detail. The hotel's restaurants are superb, especially the Asian restaurant where one has the choice of Indian, Thai, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. The pool is just the right temperature and provides an escape from the bustling city of Mumbai, or as the locals like to call it Bombay. The hotel is at the high end of the market but worth every cent. The bar on the rooftop is a definite yes, as they have happy hours starting at 5.30pm with magnificent views of the landscape and bright lights of Mumbai.

Fantastic service and stay”

If you want a beautiful place to stay, along with very attentive and friendly staff, then Four Seasons Mumbai is for you. We intended to stay for 1 night, but ended up staying for 4.

Nice 5 stars facilities ”

The hotel was nice 5 stars standard but the food price s a little pricey from our point of view. The breakfast was great with all kinds. The staffs are very helpful. The hotel location s close to Mumbai big shopping braza. The cab was cheap but no AC.

Christmas on four seasons”

We decided to celebrate Christmas Eve on this hotel. W.O.W! Amazing, the staffs hospitality the room etc. We even got our room christmas decorated. The breakfast was outstanding. There's nothing to complain at, and I've got nothing bad to say about four seasons. Best experience during my time in India, no doubt.

Just AMAZING!!”

I stayed at the four seasons with my fiance. We had an amazing time! First, the hotel is amazing. It is pretty, clean and with high level facilities. Breakfast was delicious, with vast amount of variety and long opening hours. The staff were generous, helpful and pleasant. The management was also great, pleasant and made our stay a memorable experience. Definitely recommend!!

Comfortable ”

great hotel in Mumbai. Close to city by car perhaps 15 mins. Close to shopping centre 5 mins by car. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bed makes a great sleep. Staff service very good and attentive.

Great hotel in crazy city”

We stayed with three people in a room. The room was certainly big enough for the three of us. The hotel proporty is well maintained and the rooms are clean. Hotel staff is very friendly and always willing to help out. We booked a city trip using a hotel car and driver and they upgraded us from Toyota Innova to BMW 5 series without any charges. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and the quality of the food was good. The most important attraction of the hotel (by far) is the skybar. The view and atmosphere is amazing. You almost feel like Mumbai jetset with a cocktail and the stunning views of the city. This hotel is definitely worth staying in.

Super expensive drinks at AER Bar”

The stay was very nice, however the prices for drinks at the AER bar are more than overpriced. Living in one of the most expensive city of the world (Geneva) and coming to India and find a drink menu that is more expensive than in Switzerland is just unheard of. This is regardless of the award winning bartender or that the hotel is a 5-star/ Four Seasons Hotel.

Excellent choice in Mumbai”

Great 5 star hotel. The hotel is amazing, but the surroundings are bad, mainly slums. But it's still a good location in Mumbai. The spa is incredible!

Almost a 'perfect' hotel stay.”

Very pleasant. Courteous staff. Such a well maintained hotel... truly up to the Four Seasons reputation. Liked the luggage room/walk in.. made the room look even neater.

Hotel in the center of the city”

i have to confess that i had a great service in this place. the info provided by the concierge was great. i used the hotel car and they were very nice to upgrade me with a bmw. not thta i needed that, but it was a nice touch. this hotel is centrally located which is conveninent to move around the city.

Fantastic rooms and views”

Top class stay at the hotel. Service fantastic dealing with every detail. Rooms lovely. Didn't get an opportunity to try the restaurant but imagine it would be good given the rest of the experience. Would recommend

Typical business traveller hotel.”

The hotel has everything required for a business traveller. I stayed for 2 nights on business but then moved to an alternative hotel when my family flew to Mumbai for a holiday.
