Great location, spacious room and good amenities”
Stayed for five nights at the Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka in June 2015. Paid about US$200 per night for a one-bedroom deluxe apartment on the 7th floor (as compared to one-bedroom executive at higher floors and some other perks), breakfast for two included, daily housekeeping and complimentary WIFI. While Fraser replenishes the complimentary bottled mineral water every day, we were puzzled why they did not do the same for the instant coffee sachets. For breakfast where Fraser provides vouchers for either the Nankai Parlour restaurant (2F at the Nankai station building) or the Massa place right next to the hotel, we find the former a much better option. Overall a great place with unbeatable location, one of the best values for money, and looking forward to returning to stay at the Fraser Namba Osaka again. Disappointed to find that their website shows no availability from Oct 2015 to Feb 2016 when we are planning our next family trip to Osaka. :-(

Excellent Hotel with great location”
Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka is located in Namba which has very good transport links. There is a direct express to Kansai internaional airpot. It is only a few minutes from the station and walking distance to Shinsaibashi with shopping streets. There are a lot of reasonably priced restaurants next to the hotel and a lot of cheap eat options as well. The hotel is very clean and with comprehensive appliances for laundry and cooking. The room size is relatively big compared to Japanese hotel standard. Bed is also very comfortable. Room is very quiet despite it is facing a busy street. Fraser also provides complimentary breakfast coupon which is out of our expectation!

Wonderful inn and a great location = Winner!”
first, fraser residence is very close to namba station and the subway. i mean, very close. though my stay was short, i wished i could have stayed at the fraser residence, osaka, japan, for the full week of my stay. it is right in the middle of namba - a very lively area of osaka with great stores and small ones, too. restaurants abound on lovely streets. the energy of a city seems concentrated in namba - which is a great plus for watching or meeting osakans. the fraser residence staff were very friendly and helpful. the restaurant attached to the hotel (and used for those whose breakfast is included in the room rate) is delightful. i found no fault, whatdoever. if i sound like an advertisement for fraser residence it's because i found no faults and the place far exceeded my expectations. all in all, i cannot say enough about fraser residence.

Lovely hotel with many good food around”
This is the second time I stayed in Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka and I really enjoyed my stay here. The room itself got everything an apartment has and the breakfast was good. It was not buffet style of breakfast, not much choice but that was good. The location itself within Namba subway and Nankai line, takes you wherever you want, very convenient. There are some nice food stalls around the hotel, including Ippudo Ramen opposite the hotel, Pepper lunch and so on. All in all, I would go back to Fraser again, whenever I have a chance to go to Osaka.

Excellent location and a home away from home”
I have totally enjoyed my stay at Frasers Nankai and regret not using Osaka as my base to explore the nearby area. Compared to the apartment in Kyoto on my last leg of travel, Frasers is really well worth every cents. The staffs are helpful with my luggage ( arrived before me from Tokyo and already in the room before I checked in)and friendly. The residence is just a step away from the shopping complex around the Namba station and Namba park. I have the city and park view and the room is bright with the wide window. My stay is inclusive of breakfast but I did not make use of the voucher as I prefer to had my in the comfort of my room. The room is spacious for one but could be rather tight for 2 people. I am definitely going back to Osaka and staying in Frasers Nankai!

Location and convenience are tops”
This was our second extended stay at the Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Osaka. The front desk staff are professional, helpful and friendly. English was spoken very well. The 1BR suite was perfect for our 10 day stay with kitchenette and laundry, as well as the living room area for entertaining and relaxing. The room style is modern and spare. The proximity of the Fraser to Namba station and the transportation hub is extremely convenient. Breakfast at the tapas restaurant on the first floor is extremely convenient as an included feature.

Fantastic”
Great location, easy to access with large and heavy luggage. 4 mins walk to the Limousine Bus Namba Station which connect to Itami airport within 30 minutes. The room is clean and tidy, a very helpful electric guide book in English and Japanese is provided in the room. The laundry machine is washing and dryer 2-in-1 , laundry can be done while going out for the day. They also provided detergent. Mini kitchen has cookware and tableware and cleaning supply. Staff are friendly and helpful. We were totally happy with our 3 night stay at Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka and will return here in the future when we visit Osaka again.

Dear Szu, Thank you for choosing Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka. It is great to hear that you enjoyed many aspects in the hotel and I have shared your comments with the team. We look forward to welcoming you back again. Kind regards, Anoura Ngaosyvathn Front Office Manager
Wonderful stay, highly recommended!”
I stayed for 6 nights at Fraser Residence in a 1-bedroom executive. Namba is a really great place to stay. Fraser is close to the Namba station with direct link to the airport, and within walking distance to Dotonburi and Shisaibashi. There are many shops and restaurants to satisfy most tastes. As I needed to buy fresh groceries, the fact that Fraser was close to Kuromon Ichiba (market) was an added plus. The room was well appointed in terms of space and was very clean. I was very surprised that there was even a walk-in wardrobe and air ioniser/humidifier. I have stayed at many apartments before and usually when I read everything you need is there, I would find something lacking e.g. laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, etc but really EVERYTHING I needed was provided for. In some of the previous reviews it stated that you could purchase the laundry detergent from the front desk but I had a bottle available to me in the room. Even the dishwashing sponge is replaced EVERYDAY! Much as Osaka food was delicious, it was rather rich and after a while I craved something light so we cooked our own dinner for 2 nights. The staff was ready with directions to point me to the closest supermarket to get ingredients. And when I felt I needed another pot to cook rice with and called reception, they actually had a rice cooker to provide free of charge! I like to stay at apartments when travelling with my children as they tend to soil their clothes often and we could pack light if we could do our laundry. The washer/dryer was very useful although I would have much preferred to have a separate washer and dryer. The cycle takes 2 hours each load so if we have more than 1 load it takes a while to finish all the laundry. It was in all an excellent, very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Checking in and out was relatively fuss free. I highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Osaka.

Excellent hotel”
Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka exceeded our expectations. It was a brand new apartment hotel complete with a complete kitchen, washer & dryer (no need to bring too many clothes next time) in one of the best locations in Osaka, right across the Nankai Namba Station. Not only did it stand out for its convenient location, it was spotlessly clean and had a very accommodating staff. It was altogether an excellent hotel at an excellent price!

Fraser style serviced apartment hotel”
We stayed in 1 bedroom apartment from 29th April-2nd of May 2019 and extended 1 more day until 3rd of May in studio room. The hotel is typical fraser residence (we have stayed in fraser group for years), equipped with full pantry and big refrigerator where the guest can cook if they feel bored of eating out, washing machine with dryer function, iron & iron board. We decided to combine between hotel and serviced apartment hotel during our 3 weeks trip in japan and opted for fraser residence while in osaka. The hotel is located in the south of namba area, 10 minutes walking to dotonburi. The staffs are efficient but not really friendly though, they are not bothered to greet the guests who has to pass the reception to take elevator unless the guests want to check in/out. However, they can arrange luggage delivery service to tokyo for my 2 big luggages (cost only yen 1700 per luggage, highly reccomended for light travelling with shinkansen). The english tv channels are very limited for my 6 y.o son but we brought fire stick tv which we could plug in and received all foreign channels. I would come back if i need serviced apartment in osaka but not if i need normal hotel room as it is quiet walking distance to dotonbury and shinsaibashi area. Their 1 bedroom is spacious while the studio room is small, however it is still equipped with small pantry and washing machine/dryer. There are 3 options for having breakfasts if included (on the premises buffet style, bakery place and restaurant near nankai namba station ) which are nice. There are lots of eatery places and 2 convenient store family mart nearby.

Fantastic hotel, great location, good service”
we stayed at frasers residence nankai osaka for 4 nights in june 2012 - excellent hotel! first of all the location is super convenient, right across the road from nankai namba station. the airport express train takes around 35 - 40 minutes from kansai airport. however, if it is raining, getting to the hotel from the station can be a challenged as it is not sheltered. the hotel is near all the major department stores (takashimaya, maru and daimaru) and just a short walk away from dotonburi shopping street. the room, being a serviced apartment, is bigger than the usually cramp hotel rooms in japan. we booked a one-bedroom deluxe which is great and well equipped. there's also a washing machine so we could wash our clothes every day and went home with clean clothes.

Awesome”
fraser residence nankai truly deserves 5 stars for its location, service and room size. location - its location near nankai namba station makes travelling from kansai intl airport convenient. my wife and i experienced the peak hour train at 7pm and concluded that we made the right choice. imagine travelling with 3-4 luggages and having to catch the plane at 11am, this implies we need to move off at 8+am (peak hour period). in addition, it is also near den den town and dotonbori (10 to 15 mins leisure walk) service - my wife fell ill during our trip and their staff (ms yuko) tried her best to find us a doctor who could speak english. this proved to be a challenge on a thursday afternoon (14th june) as most english speaking doctors had already left the clinics. nevertheless, she tried and managed to get us one at 2:30pm. room size - it is known to have small and cramp rooms. yet, the 1 bed room we got was fairly large and we had a good view of namba parks and nankai station. i will certainly return to this serviced apartment en route to kyoto in the future.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location”
This is our second time to stay at Fraser Residences Nankai Osaka and so happy to have stayed here again. It has the comforts and conveniences of more than just a hotel room with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry (washer & dryer) that make's one stay so pleasant and stress-free. There are many restaurants, convenient stores and other great amenities around the area. The Namba area is a great shopping and entertainment area.

Great location, Cosy and comfortable”
A very pleasant and enjoyable 8 days stay at Fraser Residence. Room size is great with facilities like microwave and washing machine, etc. Location is great too, just a few minutes to Namba Staion with airport express, JR and a few railway lines (subway) which easily accessible to different places like the Osaka Castle, Nissin Museum, USJ, Umeda, Shinsekai, etc. Also can easily cross over to Kyoto, Nara and Kobe within an hour. Next to the hotel, there are many eateries, shopping mall (Namba City)and convenient store (Family Mart), fast food, etc.. Hope Fraser Residence can continue to upkeep the rooms in current condition or even better, which is clean and free from any "smell" like most of the hotel usually do have (even 5 stars). The only little minus is, TV only has locate Japanese channel, not even a channel which telecast daily news in English.

Directions to Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka.”
we hop from tokyo to kyoto to osaka and back to tokyo for our 9days/8nights vacation in japan. fraser residence located at namba nankai osaka is the best we have stayed in. the studio deluxe room is spacious, clean and the oh-so-comfortable bed. getting there can be quite confusing. so here's a brief guide. from jr osaka station (shinkansen), take the subway to namba station and exit from exit no. 10. walk straight ahead for about 2 to 3mins. swissotel is on your left and fraser residences is just opposite.

Solid choice for staying in Osaka”
The Fraser Residence is good value for money. The hotel is easy to find. We took the Rapit train from Kansai airport to Namba station, the walk to the hotel took 5min. Check-in was efficient - there was no lines, the staff had accurate details regarding our booking and we got our key within minutes. We stayed at a one bedroom suite. The room is spacious for Japan standards. If you enjoy a clean, minimalistic style room then this hotel is a good option. Fraser Residence also provides all basic ammenities that you would need: cleaning products, hair dryer, tooth brushes etc. Worth noting is the choice of English channels which is severely lacking at other hotels I've stayed at in Japan. Apart from the Pros, I still think the location of the Swissotel is much better although Fraser Residence is only 5min away (when you are exhausted from walking all day and carrying 20 shopping bags, it helps to be 5 min closer) House keeping is where I will take off points. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was cleaned differently each night. At times, it seemed that staff only made the bed and cleaned bathroom but did not bother cleaning up the rest of the room. For example, the hair dryer I used was kept on the bathroom counter untouched. A blanket thrown on the sofa was left as it and not folded back in its place. The closet doors were left open which is very odd.

Lovely place right inside the hub ”
Of all the hotels/ service apartment I've stayed in Japan, Fraser Residence is definitely the best. It is conveniently located in Namba, Osaka, which is a busy commercial district and yet, the place itself is really quiet - a pleasant surprise. The 'room' itself is a spacious one bedroom apartment with a living room, walk in closet and an open kitchen with all the essentials, it is designed to make people like me feel at home. Another surprises is the complimentary breakfast, unlike other buffet style breakfast where they serve over cooked scramble egg, one can actually sit down at their cosy little diner to enjoy breakfast, may it be a lite version of an American Breakfast (* with egg & sausages) or a breakfast with cereal, fresh fruit and salad. Fraser Residence is definitely worth the money if you are someone who are looking for a certain degree of comfort after a long day.

Great hotel/Room & Location. ”
My family and me has a great and fantastic trip in osaka especially we choose the right hotel. The hotel location is great, 3mins walk to main train station. This has help a lot especially if we travel with young kids. Easy access to airport, kyoto, nara and other places. Good location for shopping as well, Takashimaya, namba park, Namba city/walk, Shinsaibashi, etc. You can get food easily around the area and price is reasonable. We enjoyed sushi a lot, has few good & cheap sushi restaurant in Shinsaibashi/Dontobori area. I stayed in studio deluxe room with 2 single beds, it is enough for 2A & 2 young Kids (3 years & 9 years old). We managed to find a way to sleep comfortably, just need extra blanket..:-). I reached osaka airport on 9.30pm, just take ~30mins for custom & bags claim. Take nankai main line (airport express) to Namba station ~45mins. Reached hotel at 11pm, i still can find food around the hotel. McDonald just opposite, but i don't recommand McD as it is quite expensive. The set meal pricing is almost same as you take japanese set meal (with rice & meat & drink), and you can sitdown enjoy the food instead of standing in front of McD. The only improvement that i can think for this hotel is the breakfast, we stayed 7 nights, everyday has same BF...:-(...but it is free, so not much complaint...the bread is good.

New hotel at a great location”
Fraser residence provided great service and value for the price I paid for. The rooms were big and fully equipped with essential amenities and more. I was glad for the washer/dryer and the kitchen utensils. The room was huge for Japan's standard and even comes with a walk in wardrobe. It was spotlessly clean, presumably because it is still new. The location was also fantastic because the subway and the trains to everywhere including the nankai train to Kansai airport were very near. There were no lack of options for shopping and eating with namba parks, takashimaya, OIOI etc just around the area. There was also ippudo and many other eateries near the hotel. Will choose to stay there again.
