"I stayed here for four very relaxing and carefree weeks. Before I decided to stay in the Sofitel Damansara Hotel I checked their daily room rates for weeks until I found a great daily room rate to stay in a luxury room with complimentary daily buffet breakfasts. You couldn’t wish for a more comfortable and relaxed style of hotel of this standard. ALL employees only offered excellent customer service toward guests and visitors to the hotel. I look forward to my next stay.."

"Good location in terms of shopping and food. However, if you’d have to travel to other places...this location might not be ideal because the traffic is horrific, especially during fasting month. Looking for the hotel was a confusing, I went to the wrong hotel because they’re all named the same but it was alright. It’s only 10 mins walk from the wrong ones called Royale Chulan Damansara. Once arrived, I felt welcomed. Cheers to the friendly staffs! Check-in was simple and easy. Room was clean, nothing dodgy. (Thank God) Ladies! There’s hairdryer provided, no need to bring your own. It’s quite powerful too! A word of reminder for families though, the floors are mostly NOT smoke-free, so it would be best to actually request one if you’re traveling with kids. Didn’t had a chance to use the swimming pool, so no comments on that. I gave a 3-star rate for the Value of money, it’s because it is actually quite expensive. The interior design wasn’t as new, the lobby was warm, there’s a bulb dying in my room which makes it difficult for me to put on makeup, and I don’t understand why they installed the magnifying makeup mirror like 20cm taller than me and I can’t pull it down to use it(I’m 163cm btw). Lastly, no breakfast included.. not that I’ve been informed about it, nor breakfast voucher in the room cards’ pouch. Thanks for reading my looooong review. Have fun traveling! xx "

"it was a pleasant stay for me and my family at the Royale Bintang Damansara Hotel during our last visit to Kuala Lumpur. first of all, the hotel lobby is spacious and comfortable when we first walked in, the staffs were so attentive, frienly and efficient in assisting us in checking in. when we went into our rooms, our joy escalated with the size, design and cleanliness of the rooms we got. in addition we were equally amazed with the bathroom-big and super clean. everything was well organised here, shopping malls are just easily accessed through the sky bridges that link to all major shopping malls. in general we all had a wonderful and memorable stays at the Royale Bintang Damansara Hotel. "

"My room are full with designs of lighthouse & sea theme, all rooms have differ designs you may request the design you like in advance. Room is clean & quiet. The only hotel have elevator in Damansara Utama area. Staffs is very friendly. If you drive after 9pm got plenty of parking in-front of the hotel. You may also request car park from the staff in advance too. Location near public transport station and go to MRT station, One Utama & The Curve shopping mall you may take a bus which at a very low fare or like me take a GradCar (grab.com / uber.com) it's just cost me RM5, 5-10mins driving distance. Besides, Starling Mall is just less then 1mins walking distance. Easy for me to travel around, highly recommended n will come back again....Well, this location have lots of good foods surrounded. "The hotel is clean & convenient. Walking distance to MRT station. In the heartbeat of Damansara. Only 5-7 mins drive to One Utama. About 23 mins to Chinatown by grab about 25RM. Near to most good golf courses - that’s why we booked here. "

"Very clean hotel with good security, fast check in, friendly staffs and good choice of breakfast. Location is good, near One Utama, The Curve, IKEA and kidzania. Great for traveller who wants to stay away from the busy and heavy traffic places but yet want to be able to reach there in minutes. Very convenient as have many restaurants, cafes and fats food nearby. Truly satisfied. Will stay again"
