EXCELLENT LOCATION BUT IT'S THE HOSPITALITY THAT WINS IT”
The team at the hotel were the most amazing part - the front desk team spoke good English and they were very helpful, professional and welcoming. We drove and parked directly opposite the hotel, crossing a small road. The staff would actually stop traffic so we could cross safely; helped us with our luggage and waved us off until our car was out of sight! Mind blowing - really take pride in their work. The western style room is very spacious - with lots of space for 2 adults and 2 children. It was very clean and neat and has a lovely view of the lake and Mt Fuji if he isn't hiding behind the clouds. Meals - as usual, kaiseki style, there was so much food. But again, the ladies in the restaurant were so hospitable and kept checking on our pots of food, telling us when it is all ready to eat, which sauce to eat with what - hardworking bunch of elderly ladies. Totally appreciative of them. Would recommend this to anyone else travelling to Lake Kawaguchiko!

We just stayed for one night but it was perfect. The staff was very friendly as well. Our room was sooo beautiful, it was very clean and we had the best view of Mt. Fuji ever! Also both of the onsen are so nice and relaxing. It was not crowded, we could enjoy the first onsen by ourselves. Also the dinner and the breakfast was very good quality and very tasty. Overall I am 100% satisfied and would come back whenever. Compared to the other hotels it’s cheaper, but everything was perfect so it’s the best choice!

Very good location with excellent view. Compare with other luxury hotel where can see Mt. Fuji, this hotel is with very reasonable price. Once when you wake up, open your curtain, the view in front of you definitely will make you speechless. Hotel room is traditional JP style futons, very clean. The building looks like old hotel but very well maintain. Very helpful and friendly hotel staffs as well. If you missed shuttle bus service, only 20min walking from station. Not so bad.

This place is in a good location to spot a Mt.Fuji from your balcony. A staff is very nice and can communicate English. A room size is so wide for 4 people, and have a bathroom inside. A hotel's cuisine "Kaiseki" (a full-course of cuisine in japanese-style) is so delicious. An onsen is very cozy, widely, and feel good when inside. Only a weakpoint is a nearest convenient about 2 kilometre far away. This hotel have a free-shuttle bus transport between hotel and Kawaguchiko station (but have to contact with staff first). I recommend this place for anyone who have to make a great experience with a Ryokan, a Kaiseki, a Mt.Fuji view from balcony, and of course in a non-expensive price.

I stayed in this hotel three months. They serviced different food for every meal. All foods are delicious. The room was cleaned up appropriately. The Onsen is nice and the space is large and comfortable. The pickup service is very nice. My family have very nice three days here and we will choose to stay this hotel next time.

The hotel is in a good location and the room is spacious and clean. The staff here is very friendly with outstanding service. The only thing I wish they can improve is the picture shown on the booking website which has some odd angel and color tone. The actual room is much more beautiful

Amazing view and experience ”
We are a family of 4 with 2 children 18 and 19 yes old. We had 2 rooms with a terrace and an absolutely gorgeous view. We did go for a walk around the lake but the view from our room was priceless for photos especially early morning. The food was an experience we did both dinner and breakfast whilst we couldn’t eat everything as it wasn’t to our tast there was still plenty of very tasty food. The Beef Sukiyaki was amazing. Breakfast was full Japanese but there were croissants and buns too. Highly recommend this hotel. The Onsens and massage chairs are incredible.

We stay at Japanese Room with Mt. Fuji view. And we are very lucky to see Mt. Fuji every single day. Onsee with Mt. Fugi view is also very nice. The hotel is a bit old but the room is big. Our son have space to run. Hotel Staff are very helpful and very kind. The breakfast & dinner are very well prepared and good. A note of recommendation is to book the room with dinner or if you prefer to eat other resteraunt, you should book in advance otherwise the restaurant will not accept the walk in.

It is amazing to see Mt. Fuji directly from my room and from Onsen pool! Although we only booked the room with breakfast, everything was wonderful! Once we arrived at the hotel, they had their staff speaking Chinese to explain all the rules for us. We should have arrived earlier so that female guests are able to enjoy view from Onsen pool in daytime. We didn't expect the hotel would drive us back to the station, but they did!!!!! and for free!!!! Once again, everything was perfect!

Location is so great. You can see mouth Fuji from your room. You can access the hotel directly by hotel’service from Kawaguchigo station(just ask tourist center to call the hotel). Staff is friendly, they offer me for seperate room as they see that the room is too tight for 4 adults and 1 kids even i book only 1 room. Food is great for dinner and breakfast. Onsen is very relax and the view is great.

You got what you paid for. The hotel was a bit over our budget but it was an amazing stay by all means. The room and the view was fabulous. The meals provided (breakfast and dinner) were excellent. What we were most impressed about was the staff hospitality. They went out of their way to make sure we had the most pleasant experience whenever possible. We would love to come back to Hotel New Century.

Great location, near bus stop. The hotel has transport service from and to Kawaguchiko station. Delicious food both breakfast and dinner. Superb view of Fuji-san from the room. There are massage chairs in front of Lava onsen which are great for relaxation. Very nice and friendly staffs.

The staff were super friendly and service oriented! The dinner and breakfast were both good as well. Got the Japanese style room facing Mount Fuji and it presented a really great view. What made the stay great was really the extra mile which the staff would go for you. The only thing to take note is that you can't check in earlier than 3pm. Other than that, everything's superb! Highly recommended!

Very Nice & Comfortable Hotel”
The hotel is a bit old but very clean with very friendly & helpful staffs. The mountain view comes with the price tag but luck was not on our side. Couldn't see a shade of the mountain. Would recommend to stay 2 nights here to enjoy the nearby attraction and very beautiful scenery. We booked with the dinner and breakfast package which is quite ok but the meal is only for adults. If you have young children, you have to share your portion with them, which makes me quite annoyed. Overall, very nice and will consider staying again if I ever comes back here.

- The location is good. You can drive and enjoy the free parking there or take the shuttles provided by the hotel. The location to see Mt. Fuji and the reflection of Mt. Fuji in the lake is perfect. You can stay insides the room to view clearly. - Staffs are great. Most of the staffs are elderly but they are extremely polite and helpful. They can also speak fluent English and eager to provide help while I lost something. - The room is spacious and clean. The Japaness style decoration of the room is also great.
