Exceptional”
Super friendly owners. She briefed us the facilities in the home stay upon check in. You’re allowed to leave your luggage in the home stay after check out for your ease of moving around the area. The owners even offered us a ride back to Kawaguchiko station even though it’s not scheduled.

Everything is alright except employee attitude and services ”
Japanese style hotel room and beautiful scene is nearby the hotel. Hot spring and bicycles are offered during the staying. The female staff was kind to us and she was much polite to travelers. After we took a rest for minutes, we went to dinner and bought some snacks at night. There is a refrigerator in the lobby and some of foods bought from the local supermarket needs to be refrigerated to keep fresh. However, the femal staff didn’t inform us the closing time of lobby after we arrived. It’s ok but we really don’t know why they prohibit the using time of lobby after 10 p.m. If anyone wants to refill water or needs hot water, there is no way to do them. That’s fine. We just tried to call the service center and used Agoda communication app to contact them. There’s no any response in 15 minutes. We didn't want to waste foods and throw them into the trash can so we rang the service bell in one time at that moment. In fact, we really didn't want to do this and we were afraid of making the noise at the meanwhile. While we gonna gave up and left the lobby, the man who is middle-aged almost hairless unlocked his room door and appeared in the service center. It seemed that he knew we need a help and he just stayed in the room and didn’t want to come out to see what happened outside. Just need a help for opening the lobby door and putting foods in seconds. He just said many impolite dirty words in Japanese and felt extremely impatient at that moment. We’ve never experienced this kind of room service! It’s ok that you hotel didn't serve 24 hours service but we never heard of any dirty words from the service staff when we were traveling! Shame on you! Poor guy! Do not serve with this attitude to customers. No one will like you, even worse you will let customers leave bad comments to this hotel. From now on, the bad reputation is occurred and caused by you!

Beautiful, peaceful Japanese-style hotel”
We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful Japanese hotel and will book again if we visit Japan in future. The owners are lovely and were welcoming of us and our 18 month old baby, providing a highchair at breakfast (we had a western breakfast one day and a Japanese breakfast on the second day. The Japanese breakfast was delicious!), and hot water for his bottles as required. The rooms are traditional, warm and comfortable and many of them have a clear view of Mt Fuji. The women's onsen is spacious and very clean, and the men's is small but good. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the kachi kachi ropeway. This might sound long but Kawaguchiko is a very pretty place for a walk and if that's not part of your plan, taxis or the sightseeing bus are readily available.

I am actually going back”
My stay at Togawasou was easy relaxing and interesting. While there I bicycled around a lake, took great photos of Fuji-san and even climbed a small mountain exploring some old temples that looked like they hadn't been tended in years. The Bath's are great (especially for the price) and you can use them in the morning and evening. The gentleman that was running Togawasou (forgive me for forgetting his name) was kind and helpful, always brought me fresh tea and coffee and even recommended local restuarants (they were great, definately try Hoto Foudo if you go here. He will mark it on a map for you). And they even lent me a bicycle at no extra charge

Lovely Japanese style room”
Stayed at Fuji Kawaguchiko Onsen Togawasuo for one night, lovely owner, he picked us up from the station and also offer drop off free of charge. We got a nice Japanese style room with a view of Mt. Fuji and a minute walk to lake Kawaguchiko, the room was clean and has share bathroom. A bus stop only a minute away. Would recommend this hotel for those who going to Kawaguchiko.

Perfect little holiday”
Beautiful family run accomodation, we were the only guests so had the bath onsen to ourselves. Situated right next to the park & Muse Museum so we rode the free bikes down both days to enjoy Lake Kawaguchiko. Taxi from train station to the accomodation is about 1000Yen, but the host drove us back to the train station the our way back. Room with view to Mt Fuji - perfect.

Comfort hotel with reasonable price”
We buy R-Coupon that include free retro bus pass around Kawaguchiko Lake. So we can access to the hotel by getting off bus at bus stop No.6. The hotel location is quite easy to access but have some problem about bus timetable. Since bus stop No.5,6 are spread away from the main route, the number of buses are less than the other bus stop. There is only one bus in an hour. However, from the hotel we can see Mt.Fuji and it's very close to the lake side park, Yagsaki Park. In spring season, you can have the view of Kawaguchiko Lake with lavender field as its foreground. Our room has no private bathroom. We have to use share bathroom on ground floor. However, it's very clean and has onsen inside. One of my favorite things is there's a Kotetsu table in the room. This can make you warm and comfort during autumn and winter.

Value for Money”
We added on breakfast when we checked in and it was such a great choice - the nearest konbini is a 15 min walk away (but the walk along the lake to get there was gorgeous). Grab konbini snacks near the station before heading back to the ryokan! Ryokan's next to the Green Line but the line stops slightly before 5pm so plan your route carefully. Or just grab a cab. The ryokan kindly provided pick up from Kawaguchi Station on our first day and also gives rides in the morning at specific times from the ryokan to Kawaguchi Station. It's right next to Yagisaki Park which was very prettily blooming with lavender and hydrangeas in late June. We could technically see Fuji from our room, but only saw Fuji-san on check-out day since visibility was so bad while we were there. No biggie though, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in the onsen on the first floor, and rode out on their free bikes in the morning to the lake and enjoyed watching the dawn's fog roll out as the sun came up. We'll return!

Cosy, large, clean room, excellent breakfast”
The hotel will arrange pick up from the station and also provide service to send us back to station when checking out.. The staffs are courteous and provide information re places of interest. The breakfast is sumptuous and the onsen is very good esp after many hours of walk in the freezing weather. We have good view of Mt Fuji from our room, a spectacular vista indeed. Wud definitely stay in this hotel again for this traditional Japanese style accommodation.

A great value for this area...”
Read the reviews. Yes, the pillows are like bags of sand...but pound them into your preffered shape and not so bad. Yes the foam mattress pads are thin, but I found an extra in the closet and doubled up. Yes the carpet is a bit threadbare here and there. BUT, at the peak season time I booked, it was the cheapest none shared room (read hostel dorm) available. The gent who picked us up and dropped us off puts his heart into the place, as seen in the garden and everything is indeed clean. The larger of the two onsens is comfortable and we were delighted with the Japanese breakfast. If you are a budget traveller this place is great value for the inflated price point of this area. The park 100 meters away on the lake is superb. We lucked out and as the storm cleared on our arrival we viewed Fuji with lightning striking the peak, and clear views in the AM. Dinner can be had a 10-12 minute walk away, or time it with the bus schedule if you bought a pass. Will return.

Great place to stay for a weekend”
The hotel right next to Kawaguchiko lake, great view of mountain Fuji (can even see it from our room). There are free bicycles for wandering around. Traditional Japanese style room, very quiet. There are a coffee shop nearby and a doll museum. We had pleasure time there.

Quick but delightful.”
This was my first ryokan stay and it was brilliant. It felt like a warm inviting home and the owners were lovely people. Rooms were huge and we had a great view of Fuji San from our window in the morning. This was also my first onsen experience and after trying other onsens since i can say this has been one of the better ones. I just wish we had more time to enjoy the hospitality and surrounds.

Perfect little Ryokan, lovely room and views. ”
We enjoyed our stay quite thoroughly. It was a lovely hotel right next to Kawaguchiko - one of the Fuji-san famous 5 likes. The staff were friendly and breakfast was great. Traditional Japanese Inn with all the little things.

Nice onsen near Yagizaki park”
The traditional Japanese room was comfortable, the onsen was small (but not very busy during my stay), and there were bicycles available to explore the area. There are great views of Mt. Fuji very close to the hotel when the weather cooperates. Overall, nice place!

Great place”
Superb location (on the edge of a lovely park and close to the lake) Also, we had a good view of Mt Fuji from our room. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and will fetch guests from the station. Breakfast was good. Bikes are available to borrow. Only negative was that the water in the onsen wasn't steaming hot as Japanese baths usually are.
