AMONG THE BEST HOSTEL IN BUDAPEST !!”

Full Moon Hostel is centrally located and it's very easy to access from all the major attractions in the city. The staff were great and very helpful. The room was nice and cool A/C. Price is just right! Highly recommended to stay here!

Overall Great”

Overall great time. I've met people here that I will continue to be in touch with in the future. The price I got for my room was excellent, and the cleaning service does their job on a daily basis. Unfortunately, if you plan to stay a long time, this hostel needs to fix their washers and dryers before I give them 5 stars. Their washers/dryers are very poor quality, and take far more money than necessary to properly clean your cloths. That is my main complaint. Other than that, stay here and have an AMAZING experience in Budapest! Overall, yes, stay here.

Excellent”

Nice small double bed rooms for mainly young people. Really cheap offer with a good breakfast included. Also included is free entry to the ruin bar "Morrison's 2 club", which is located straight under the Full Moon Hostel. Cause of the club it can be pretty noisy at night, but there are 2 things you can do: Party at the club until it closes or drink as much as you can to get a sleepy night anyways ;)

Amazing stay”

I loved everything about this hostel. The location is ideal for those wanting to go to the spa party at the Lucas baths as it is a 20 min walk. It is also centrally located to the all of the attractions in Budapest. The hostel has a club in its basement which we never heard in our room and it was the best place to end up after a night of partying. The place was clean and the staff we very helpful.

Great place to party and meet people”

The rooms are cheap and clean and the location is great for egtii g around Budapest. There is a club downstairs that you get free entry to which has like 3 rooms. However the music plays until 4 or 5 am which can be heard from the rooms. This is a great place for people who want to party and meet new people

Exceptional”

Nice place to stay in Budapest. Public transportation is very close. Choose higher floors and street oriented rooms because in the property yard there is a night club with loud music.

As it says in the title, it's a great hostel to stay for couple or 3 days, it is located in the heart of Budapest and the tramway isn't far at all. I stayed here twice, and I recommend it

Recommended”

Travelled to Budapest from England on a stag weekend. The Hostel was great - we have two rooms of 4, which were clean and tidy. Nothing fancy, but exactly what we needed! Location was good - plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, and walking distance to most of the popular areas (ruin bars etc.). Would use again if I went with a group!

Fun Hostel”

Located near the metro with plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs around the area. if you're willing to walk, most attractions are walkable within 20-30 minutes, with the furthest probably between 1-1.5hrs at max. Hostel comes with air-conditioning, and is operating almost like a Hotel. very clean and welcoming with a bright and inviting reception. And also a club/bar just below. Although we were staying on Level 2, it faces the street, more inside away from the club hence we practically didn't hear any of the loud music as many reviewed and slept peacefully through the night.

Good hostel for the money ”

Got a private room with a private shower—super nice quality for a hostel. Staff were great and super friendly. Like the other reviews say the club downstairs can be a little noisy but if you’re looking to go out then that may be a bonus for you.

Good value!”

The internet connection was not the best. It would disconnect often. The handheld shower head was full of rust. I was scared to touch it, so I did not. The shower had a lot of mold. The room was really big. Great location and staff.

There are many advantages to stay at the Full Moon Hostel but I didn't know it was inside of a Disco club. So the music plays until 3h of morning and it's impossible to have silence to sleep.

Amazing!”

Room looked perfect and clean! Staff was very kind and helpful. We had a dog with us and the fee was 10€ per day. Agoda returned money to us because we didn’t know about it. Location is really amazing! There is a bar downstairs and we got the tickets for free. If you are going to get tired walking and seeing the city music won’t bother you because you will fall a sleep very fast so don’t worry about that :)

Super location and intimity in double rooms”

The hostel is with superb location and in double rooms you get the intimity of hotels. The hostel is clean, the staff nice, if you get a room on upper floors, than you get a calm room from the disco downstairs. the only bad thing about the room was a bad smell in bathroom.

Exceptional”

The location of this hostel is amazing. Everything you need is no more than five minutes away on foot. Public transportation is really nice. Double room with private bathroom was really spacious, and it was very well heated. The bathroom is big, but my only concern was the smell of water( which faded away after the first use of shower). Hostel has luggage room for you to place stuff if you arrive too early, and even after you check out- if you have to wait for your transport back home. In level 0 of the building, there is a club, and the entrance is free for hostel guests. I would totally reccomend, especially for young travelleres.

Great hostel with air conditioning but extremely noisy due to downstairs club”

The hostel is great, the room was airconditioned, wifi was working, kitchen was available, receptionists were nice, this was my 2nd stay here and it was very nice again. Fantastic location, walking distance to Margaret Island - perfect for an evening run. Only problem: the noise from the downstairs club is very real, bring earplugs or wait until 5am to fall asleep.

Great hostel, super clean, easy location”

Location in front of tram stop that goes in semi circle through town is perfect. Easy to get anywhere. Super clean hostel. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Safe. Only thing is the nightclub underneath open every single day until 4am. The light vibrations and screaming of people outside might put off really light sleepers.

Pleasant stay”

The hostel is in good location where public transportation is in proximity. Our room is well facilitated. We were able to sleep even there was a nightclub downstairs. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The only thing I don't like about the hostel is the shower faucet, which is not moveable.

Sziget Festival”

The hostel is as good as a hotel. It was clean and in the perfect location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly reccomend this hostel.

Hostel with good location, near Nyugati train station”

Friendly staff, location is close to Nyugati train station. There is a affordable next door Turkish fast food restaurant. Breakfast is good and adequate. Room are clean, and there is a shared kitchen in the floor where the front desk is located. The only drawback is the bar in the same building with the hostel. Choose the room in higher floor, if you do not want to get too noise.
