Don’t be misguided by some negative reviews!”

Read some pretty negative feedbacks here on TripAdvisor on FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach. And to be honest, I was a tad hesitant at first to finalise my booking for my accommodation as I was travelling alone, but I booked furamaxclusive anyways.. and let me tell you, I have zero regrets doing so. I booked the one bedroom suite with furama in Bali and I had an excellent stay! Yes, there were some issues with the air conditioning towards the end of my stay, but the hotel bunked me up to a two bedroom suite so I won’t get stuffed up inside a warm room without any AC. The hotel tried to rectify the issue however due to rainy season and it was pouring outside, engineering couldn’t fix the AC in my room. Thank you front office manager Sumitra for assisting on this and ensuring I had a good sleep. Thank you engineering as well for your effort! On my last day in Bali, unfortunately I fell really sick and I had to make a call to front office in hopes to extend my check out time. Dayu a front office manager assisted so very kindly and extending my check out timing. I was literally throwing up all morning. Dayu didn’t just extend my check out time, she was so sweet to ensure that I reach the airport on time to catch my time, knowing that I was running late. She also helped to assist with my luggage and also checked on me to make sure I wasn’t stuck in the airport alone and that I managed to catch the plane and landed safely in Singapore. Thank you so much Dayu, I truly appreciate your assistance and concern. Do keep in. Touch as I will be back to Bali! Overall, some may say that furama may seem a bit dated with regards to exterior/interior of the hotel. But furama is situated right in front of the beach, stretch of bars/restaurants just minutes walk you will be spoilt by choice, mini marts is only one minute walk away, and best of all, the hotel staffs are the most genuine people there! Great service and great hospitality! Even the restaurant staffs are awesome folks! I

Well presented and efficiently run hotel.”

My wife and I just returned from from 3 weeks in Bali that started with a 10 night stay in a 1 bedroom suite at Outrigger. We were absolutely delighted when we stepped inside our spacious and delightfully presented suite with fully functional kitchen, large spacious living area, bedroom/ensuite and huge balcony. It was wonderful to have so much room to move and the suite was thoroughly cleaned every day by friendly staff. Breakfast was more than adequate with a wide range of offerings - all complemented with wonderful beach and ocean outlook from the upstairs located restaurant/bar area. We found all staff to be most attentive, polite and fully accommodating. The beachfront location of the hotel is second to none. located in the heart of some of the areas best restaurants, cafes and beach bars is brilliant. All in walking distance which is a huge bonus. Noise from the night club next door was suggested as a potential problem when reading previous reviews prior to our visit but a request for a room at a quiet part of the hotel when we checked in was promptly acted upon and provided. Our only negative was that the pool was a bit small unlike others on offer from some of the areas larger resorts. At the end of the day though it was clean and refreshing and if that is the only thing we can identify as a negative then our choice to stay at Outrigger has been great success and we will have no hesitation in staying there again.

Awesome spot by the beach”

O-CE-N Bali was quite a pleasant hotel to stay in. The location was amazing - right on the beach and close to the main nightclubs - and had a great view of the ocean. The pool was amazing, the hotel boasted efficient and friendly service by the staff and the buffet breakfast was quite good too. The room was a little smaller than expected, but other than that the room itself was clean, modern and quite luxurious. Recommended for families and for those who want to experience the nightlife of Seminyak.

Fantastic family stay in Bali”

We chose to stay at the O-CE-N Bali mainly for the location right on Legian beach as it's a brilliant spot for young children. Another main factor was that we wanted a separate bedroom for our 20 month old as he still has a day sleep. We were upgraded upon arrival and were given amazing 2 bedroom suite (406) on the 4th floor. Unfortunately as it had a staircase we decided after a couple of days that it would be best to try and change rooms as we just couldn't relax in the suite with our 2 young children and the staircase. The staff were brilliant and offered us the chance to change to a suite that was all on one level (room 401) and whilst we gave a bit of luxury up with the room change the other room was still great and more than adequate for our needs. We chose to not include breakfast in our stay as we like to try different restaurants when in Bali but we did have breakfast one morning and it was good. 2 bedroom suite rooms were very spacey and comfortable. 406 had an extra 3rd bathroom and an extra couch in the living room aswell as an oven and larger kitchen compared to room 401. 401 had a larger dining room table inside aswell as a larger balcony and a spa whilst also having a better view of the ocean. We were worried about the suitability of the hotel for our young kids in regards to the pool etc. but we need not have worried. Whilst the pool is basic the kids had enough room in the kids pool and had a few other kids with whom to play with. The only bad thing is the lack of shade around the pool area of a morning and the temperature that the tiles around the pool area get to. This is offset by the great amount of shade in the afternoon though so it's a bit of give and take. The hotel is starting to look it's age as modern built hotels don't stand up well to wear and tear due to the build quality in Bali. All in all though, it was a great 10 days for us aswell as our 20mth old and 4.5yo and we'd definitely consider staying there again in future.

Perfect hotel for family with kids!”

Whenever i go to bali, i always look for a beachfront hotels in the legian seminyak area. And when i read the review about this hotel and since the rate is within my budget, so i booked it. And it was totally worth it! The room is very spacious and clean and it got everything u need. The staffs are really friendly. Loving the swimming pool and the deck cafe where we have breakfast. Beach is right in front of the hotel. Next door are restaurants and mini markets and atms so it is very convenient. All in all, totally value for money! Recommended for family.

Sleek, modern hotel just steps away from the beach”

The location just steps away from the beach is by far its biggest selling point. It's easy to overlook the convenience of being able to walk back and forth from your clean, air-conditioned room to the beach without needing a driver or taxi. If you do need a taxi to go into town, they'll call for one, and it's cheap to get around the Kuta/Legian/Seminyak area for shopping and dining. The spa is great though pricey for the area. As for the design, it seems like the designer of the hotel wanted to make the hotel so modern and chic that he/she forgot to make it functional. The sliding doors to your room lock automatically, and you need your room key inserted in the key slot to have electricity in the room, so that meant we couldn't use our private outdoor jacuzzi without leaving the doors open (which lets mosquitoes in). You also have to go through the shower to use the sink/toilet. The shower has no door, so your sink/toilet area gets flooded. But all of this was totally bearable, considering the great price we paid on Agoda.

Fantastic stay we will be back”

We loved our stay we had a great room on the third floor overlooking the pool with ocean views the sunsets were amazing from our balcony, The front of house management and staff were so helpful and made us feel welcome even the tour desk girls and the lady who sold the Gelato at the front of the hotel was so friendly, our room was beautiful with everything we needed also serviced daily and 4 bottles of drinking water replenished each day, Airconditioning in all three rooms with seperate controllers made it so pleasant when we escaped the heat of the day , comfortable beds slept like a baby, The hotel is positioned 10 steps across a tiny access road to the Beach it was perfect for the family also a lift to your floor if you don't want to walk up the stairs, beautiful gardens and a lovely pool that wraps around the reception and Deck restaurant whitch served a nice breakfast and the all you can eat seafood BBQ buffet dinner on the Saturday night was so good and well priced., we are definately coming back . Would definately recommend this Hotel 10/10 loved it. Thanks again to the fantastic friendly staff for making our Holiday so enjoyable. Regards Stuart A from Sydney Australia.

O-CE-N Bali”

When we first arrived at the hotel and were taken to the room, I was not so impressed as we had a ground floor studio. With the blinds pulled up, there was not privacy and everyone walking by could see right into the room. We soon overcame that by keeping the shades pulled down. This worked out fine. The hotel was in a great location far enough away fromt the busy Kuta area and close to the great restaurants in and nightlife in Seminyak. There are also fine restaurants very close to the hotel. The beach was nice and the sunsets were great. The hotel is very modern and not your traditional Bali design hotel. The rooms and grounds were very well kept up. No complaints about the hotel and a good stay. I would definately recommend this hotel to friends.

Great environment with clean and elegant rooms”

We arrived with a pleasant surprise as the lobby sets us in a relaxed mood with the staff clamoring to assist us in every single way without asking, the people were friendly and smiling all the way. The rooms was clean and beautiful and the view, through unable to see the sea clearly, was one of the better ones i have experience so far. You will be able to get absorbed in the Bali mood once the evening sets. The room services was fast and prompt regardless of what time! I had to request for extra toothpaste at 2AM in the morning and they came over within 5mins. Shopping is only a 10mins walk away with lots of tinkers you can buy. Beach is just right in front of the hotel, prefect for amateur surfers and beach lovers. There is plenty of find restaurants nearby but i would recommend checking out Tekor Bali restaurant, with its reasonable prices and GREAT food!

O-CE-N Outrigger Seminyak”

When we arrived at the O-CE-N outrigger we were hot, tired and sweaty! We were greeted by the front desk staff, and offered cool towels and drinks straight away! O-CE-N is located on the southern end of seminyak, right on the beach. It is near the famous Seminyak nightclubs: Double Six (with bungee!) and Deja Vu. We stayed in a studio room. Our room was air-conditioned and clean. A king size bed with a television, IPOD player, couch, chair, coffee table and minibar. A large, clean bathroom with nice finishes. Breakfast was good - food offered includes eggs, bacon, sausages, juices, fruit, croissants, toast, cereal and indonesian food. We had one dinner at the Flying Fish cafe which was sensational! We had a lobster and prawns, both were delightfully cooked. Nyepi (Balinese New Year) fell during our stay at O-CE-N and on this day, all resort guests must stay inside the resort. O-CE-N dealt with this relatively well, by offering activities and having the food outlets opened for restrictive hours. Overall a good stay, and would recommend this for people looking for a few nights accomodation in Seminyak!

Great Hotel”

When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staffs. The unique lobby has a section where you can see the swimming pool, from the inside. Yes, you can see people swim back and forth. Makes it a memorable spot if you like to take pictures. We rented 2 units of 2 bedroom suite. Each suite has different style. We later found out that each unit is owned by someone. So, the styling of the unit depends on the owner. 1 of our unit is just plain. Don't get me wrong, it's nice. Very spacious and temporary. The thing I love about the unit is that it doesn't really have walls. It's all surrounded by glasses. The other unit is just amazing. Lots of decorations and details to the place. You can see that the owner really loves that place. Even the towel rack is heated! The staff said that it's their best unit. Ask for unit #205. Breakfast is nice. Not that many option, but you can still enjoy varieties of food. We stayed for 3 nights. We had 3 breakfasts and they served different food everyday. Well, the same type, but different way of cooking. Like fried rice. They have javanese fried rice, then chinese then thai. Circle K is very close. Just exit the hotel and turn to your left. Across the parking lot is seminyak beach. I didn't get to spend time on the beach at all since we were busy getting tanned at the pool and taking silly pictures. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Don't feel like going out at night? Just hang with your friends of family. You have a spacious living room with full equipped kitchen (not all units are equipped with kitchen)

Affordable Luxury”

I only stayed for my last night in Bali. Had a great deal through Agoda and decided to spoil myself. It was money well spent, wish I had more nights there. room was great, hotel was very modern design, kitchen was a bonus bedding and furniture comfortable. the location though was just amazing, overlooking the beach between Legian and Seminyak you get a full view of sunsets and just a very short stroll to all the beach dining and bars. If you get a good rate at the O-ce-n grab it you will not regret it.

a quick break away”

Very relaxing and enjoyable trip, very near shops and restaurants. Special request was done well like airport transfer, met a great taxi driver and he is our friend for life. we booked him for round island private tour. He was very friendly, speak extremely good English, we learned so much of the history and political scene about Bali and he is very informative. He took us to savvy all the best local food. Order for us and make sure we did not get rip off like some other occasions. We lost some valuables worth USD 350 where we bought at the gold and silver factory and we communicated with him for several days after we left, he found it in the chartered taxi hidden under the seat. He then took the trouble to arrange and paid for the courier charges to send back to us. We off course transfer the fees plus some token of appreciation and wrote an email with praises to inform his employer the taxi company. We check with the hotel if they have found our bag of jewelry, the hotel staff took the trouble to call us to inform us the outcome despite we are overseas. We also use the hotel agent for the Bali Hai cruises. It was stress free but not so value for money. Only 2 things the hotel are lacking - 1) the hotel is a bit too quiet for Saturday night and roof top bar not open. We have to walk a distance to the beach to get a drink and enjoy the sea breeze. 2) their 2 bedrooms only comes with one shower and toilets together so for 4 persons you will need to spare some time. Otherwise, we are very pleased, and we will return to stay there next time we go to Bali for the beach.

Big rooms, lovley service.”

What I loved about this place was the space we had in our 1 bedroom suite especially with a 2 year old, and the ocean view everytime we went to walk out of our room and down the elevator out to explore Bali. Our deal had breakfast included and the food was pretty good... restaurant and room service. Great location on the beach and close to shopping and other great hotels and restaurants, just a walk away. The Kids pool was great for our little one she didn't want to leave it. There is no kids club, but they have a babysitter service. Front desk service and security was very good. Things to watch out for is the paths near the pool, very slippery when wet. Bathrooms were small but they made up for it with the spacious suite area.

Great service, great facilities”

Check in was fast, although the hotel was fully booked that time. Swiiming pool not inviting as guests walking just over it on the bridge. The location of our room was vey convinient. The weird thing is it has glass walls all over the living room so for the privacy you should always use the blinds... in case you forget to wear a robe after shower. The room had a terrace for occasional coffee break and sunbeds for chilling out if you are dine with Seminyak amazing shopping/walking/eating regimen. The cons are it is quite run down and the reviews about smelly sofa are correct. Just dont use the pillows on the sofa. The wardrobe is non existent, There were ants in the bathroom but given you re in tropics it s ok. Overall it is clean. Great value for money for families. Near to the beach and many shops /eateries.

We didn't want to leave!”

We loved this hotel. We asked for a quiet apartment after reading the reviews and we got one - at the back of the hotel on a higher floor. It was perfect. Huge area for all of us, 3 TV's with International channels, loveloy pool area with deck chairs all around, great food and internet speed, friendly service.... and the location right on the beach could not be faulted. Our favourite spot was on the deck chairs in front of the bar area after breakfast reading our books directly overlooking the ocean. I wish I was back there now... The restaurants right along the beach strip are great quality and you are spoilt for choice. Would wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone travelling with Teenagers.

excellent hotel in great location”

we had a great stay at ocen outrigger. fantastic location near great restaurants and seminyak and legian shopping, a lovely modern and open hotel with beautifully manicured grounds and the buffet brekky was delicious with a great beach view. guests have free use of the legian gym 50m down the road which is a great facility. we had a midnight flight home and were provided with use of a shower room at 6pm whih was very handy. i'll happily stay here on all future bali holidays.

i stay here with my wife, really is a very nice hotel, but the price is so expensive, the service is very good , all the staff were very helpfull, the hotel have a big room and clean, and located near the beach of seminyak, one of the beautiful beach in Bali

everything about this hotel is awesome. The location is superb and I hope people don't find out about it haha so that it won't hike the price up! The rooms are beautifully clean and spacious! Definitely worth the money. And the ocean and beach is just a few steps away! Love this place and I have never been to any other whenever am in Bali for the past few years!

Awesome Holiday”

We really enjoyed our stay at FuramaXclusive Seminyak. As a family with youg children this place was perfect with a great pool and food options withing the resort. The rooms were very clean with lots of room and the staff were very helpful with anything we needed. Definitely going back next year.
