Close to the beach, belonging restaurant”
I stayed at Golden Pearl two times, one time alone in 2016 and one time with my husband and toddler in 2019. I like this so much. Good and pleasant service, clean rooms (if you want next to the beach), own restaurant, massage-service, wash-service, ticket/minimarket. The bathrooms have no roof, so when it rains you get an extra shower ;) I can reccomend this place.

Set on a beautiful beach, our bungalow was a little peace of heaven! Staff were lovely, food was great and the Fu bar was a great place to spend an evening. Loved Golden Pearl and we will be back at some point

We stayed here for s couple night. The basic bungalow is gretañt for money value! The bar / restaurants is right on the beach and the sunset is amazing. Rent a scooter to visit the island. Would definitely stay here again

Amazing place”
Perfect location, with very easy access by main road. Restaurant and few bungalow with sea view, and , bar, tables and sun lounge straight on the beach! amazing sunset, nice musical ambiance at the bar. Food was good and one of the cheapest I have seen on the island. Scooter hiring for 200 a day, while the rest of the island seems to want 100 more at least! Very friendly staff. I have tried fan bungalow, simple but enough for me for a few nights, just a bed and few hangers, bathroom with cold shower only and render on the wall falling apart ,balcony, have a table or shelves to put your stuff would be better. Aircon bungalow are way bigger and with tiles in the bathroom and hot shower. Both located on the other side of the road, some would say to avoid staying too close from it for the traffic noise in the morning ( didn’t bother me!).

Booked for 2 nights and had a smile on my face for 5 days:-) Nice staff, nice accommodation/facilities, good food, nice little bar at the beach. I was dropped off at the other side of the Island, after the staff picked me up I asked if they get anything for the transfer and there answer was: ‘No, we take care of you’. If you want to come to rest in the next level, you now know where you should go.

Heavenly Location”
We just adored this place, Our Bungalow was on the beach, just a stroll from a few different restaurants, really authentic Thai village nearby with very friendly locals. Minimum tourism on the island yet everything you need. A place for the kind of holiday makers who just want to relax and enjoy beach and quiet evenings. Fubar just a few steps away from our bunglaow was lovely and friendly staff. , we could relax on our hammock with a cocktail while our boy played or slept! Felt very safe and relaxed at all times. Only slight negative is the food is only average and a bit over priced compared to other places nearby. Staff at the restaurant were pretty standoffish but we werent looking to be pampered. We are going back in 2020!

Affordable prices in a very peaceful, familiar and relaxed island. The hotel restaurant has an amazing sea view, and the whole island is very pretty, don't forget to climb Koh Pu mountain throught the jungle! the bungalows are clean but have no WiFi

There are good and there are things that can be improved. Communication is very fast and pleasant. Very good that took from the pier. There are many things that you can rent. Bangalow that was the cheapest wasnt the best one. We asked to fix the locker but after 3 days nothing have happened. Forgot to give drinking water and other small things. But really recommend.

Probably great - Really felt the Covid effect”
The place must be real nice when maintained on a regular basis. I don't want to be too harsh because it's obvious that it was completely empty for a while with all tourists gone from the already quiet Koh Jum. But do not expect right now to get the full Golden Pearl experience. Or at least, at the moment you do get what you pay for, which is a (really) cheap but fine and nicely located accomodation.

Great location accommodation is ok”
We stayed in one of the basic huts. It was functional and clean enough. We could also have it cleaned any time on request. Koh Jum is a great Island to get away from the crowds and the beach at Golden Pearl is fantastic. Staff are all very helpful and friendly and the FU Bar is great. There were a few bugs in the room which don’t bother us but there were also ants which inevitably got in the bed occasionally and I don’t like them because they bite during the night and disturb my sleep. As I said we stayed in the cheap rooms so I was not expecting luxury and was very happy during my stay.

What an atmosphere!”
Very nice atmosphere, food, bar and staff! Did also like the closenes to local village. The first day there were an odd smell in our room, but we didn’t recognise that later. A good choice!

Relaxing stay in a coconut garden in Koh Jum Island ”
Nice resort with many bungalows situated in a beautiful coconut garden. There is only a bed in the room, safe, any wardrobe to put your clothes in. The bathroom is simple but OK. The only observation is that photos of bathroom showed on agoda.com doesn't correspond to the reality, the bathroom wasn't so nice as it was shown in the pictures. The beach is so close and is very stony and long. There are too many stones and rocks in the sea, shoes to the water are useful. The entrance to the sea is a little bit difficult. There is a noticeable low tidy. There is one restaurant in Golden Pearl Beach Resort, but it is OK, the meal is tasty. You can hire a motor bike or tuk tuk, that's really cool and we will recommend it, it's a great experience. We spent here a really nice Christmas day that we will never forget. Thanks for everything.

We stayed 5 nights and they didn’t clean our bungalow once during our stay. Didn’t even provide new towels! We had our own spare towels, so we didn’t say anything. But still think that’s a bit weird... Staff was pretty ordinary and seemed not too interested in us. Food was ok but we had better and cheaper food down the road. The location is perfect though. The Bungalows are set in a beautiful garden and the beach is right across the road. I would probably not stay again. I prefer smaller family run places with more warmth and personality. It all felt just a bit impersonal in my opinion.
