Pleasant Stay”
I chose the Grand Balisani Suites Hotel because I wanted someplace outside of the regular hustle and bustle of the Kuta/Legian areas, with access to the excellent restaurants and beach areas around Seminyak. The hotel fit that bill perfectly. I was impressed with the room, the view, the decor, and especially the bathroom (excellent setup), and was especially impressed with the professionalism of the staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a retreat at a self-contained location. Should your visit be more about going on the town more in towards Kuta, this might not be for you. Though I didn't explore around the area, the hotel advertised for some interesting exploring trips to nearby temples and other attractions, so it could be a nice place to explore the less flashy side of Bali. All in all, I plan on staying there again, as I was very pleased with the overall experience.

First trip to Bali ”
This was my first ever stay in Bali and I'm quite happy with our choice of hotel. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The room was very clean and nicely organised. The hotel provided 2 small complimentary bottles of water every day. The food in their restaurant was wonderful. Every morning there was a buffet breakfast to suit various preferences. The new Spa/Salon facilities are tranquil and relaxing and the staff professional. The prices in the spa were similar or a little more expensives than Australian prices for some treatments. The hotel is situated 20 minutes from Kuta and the hotel provides a shuttle bus at regular interval during the day. If you are looking for a little chill out time away from the hustle and bustle The Grand balisani suites are the place to be. The only down falls I can think of were the beach hawkers were quite annoying when you're just trying to relax and read by the pool and the hotel taxi back TO the airport was twice as expensive as what it was to come FROM the airport. Either way it was still cheap. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Surfing Headquarters”
Grand Balisani Suites hotel in Kerobakan is a pleasant hotel next to the beach , it is quitely located with fields and bush around , we where given a good deluxe garden view room which even had ocean views, breakfast was five star,also the service at breakfast was five star , we did a cooking class which was great at the hotel with the chef and the staff , this was great and go to know the staff, every morning after the cooking class the chef would personally great you and have a chat , this was great, sharing cooking tips and indo lessons. At night the hotel put entertainment on Wednesday nights eg Bali Dancers of a BBQ night . We also had dinners at restaurants up the road , a easy walk and every tasty meals at affordable prices.Surfing was great at Canggu and Brawa, scored some classic waves that we will never forget.This Hotel is a good base for surfing and relaxing and even shopping !

This was my 8th stay at this lovely distinctively Balinese hotel. Grand Balisani Suites, please don't change. The sound of the surf right on our doorstep, the large suites, wide verandahs, views of the beautiful gardens and individual private balconies set this grand hotel apart from the other nearby characterless hotels which are the same the world over. The only thing we missed was the Happy Hour deal that we previously enjoyed. We, in the past, had the two-for-one deal and stayed on for the garden banquet. This visit, from 25th June to 5th July, our group of 4 went for Happy Hour drinks and dinner nearby some evenings. Bring back Happy Hour drinks to keep us spending our money at the hotel!

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff”
My husband and I recently stayed at the Grand Balisani Suites and we were both so impressed with the hotel. It was great value for money, a lot cheaper than all the other beachfront hotels in Seminyak. We stayed in the Deluxe Sea View room and the view was just beautiful - highly recommended. The hotel is very relaxed comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and the buildings are all made from stone with lush gardens in between. It really is a gorgeous escape from the crowds at Kuta. The hotel restaurant looks over the ocean, and is beautiful at breakfast time or to watch the sun set. I am looking forward to staying at this hotel again in the future.

Beautiful hotel with old Bali charm”
my wife and i were looking for a quite getaway in bali were we could relax and wind down from our busy life is perth, australia. the grand balisani suites hotel in seminyak provided us with this and much more. our room was well maintained and extremely confortable. the staff were very friendly and attentive. the free shuttle service provided easy access to seminyak, legian and kuta four times daily. after a days shopping in one of these areas, it was back to the pool to relax. we are already planning our return trip to the grand balisani for next year.

Awesome view and the most comfortable Large bed”
chose grand balisani suites after reading all the reviews and photos and we were not disappointed. our first holiday in bali celebrating my husband birthday and the hotel staff knocked on our door sang him a birthday song and present him with a birthday cake! thanks to the lovely staff for the surprise. he's a happy man! every sat there's a performance at the pool area and it was awesome. the rooms was very organized overlooking the ocean. we stayed on seaview room 409. clean and totally loves the bathroom, large bathtub and shower.. and the bed! oh i love the bed.. overall this place is awesome and quite peaceful. only cons is that the restaurant next door (not our hotel property) blasts their music too loud till the wee hrs on sat night only i guess. our stay is very pleasant and did not get enough of it as we keep going out to venture. will come back in september for my birthday!!

Good Value in Off-the-path location”
The Grand Balisani Suites features a very nice and quaint layout with a tranquil pond wrapped around a large part of the building. In general fairly pretty although not especially posh. The pool was a great temperature and was steps from the beach, which was very private and secluded. The seclusion had pros and cons. If you want to lay alone on a beach and not be hassled or crowded by tourists, it's pretty nice. However, going anywhere requires getting a taxi (highly recommend Blue Bird Group generally less than 25,000 Rp (~$2.50) to get to anywhere in Seminyak, Legian or Kuta). So if you like to be able to walk from your hotel to anything else, you'll face an additional hurdle. Breakfast was included for us even though our booking said no breakfast, and we were very pleased because the breakfast buffet was very good and included some great fresh juices, and the dining room overlooked the waves crashing on the beach.

Great Value Grand Balisani Suites”
Overall our 5 day stay at Grand Balisani Suites was relaxing and pleasant and is to be recommended to travellers who prefer to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Ubud. The quality of the Garden Suites is high and the rooms are particularly clean and spacious with quality fittings. The hotel will arrange for car and driver hire and this is to be recommended as it is impossible to walk along the nearby roads due to lack of sidewalks and the volume of traffic at all times. Though Grand Balisani is at the end of a relatively quiet street completely away fom traffic and noise. Definitely recommended and definitely worth another visit!

Traditional Holiday Stay”
Very happy with the traditional building and garden setting. Pool sparkling clean. Staff very keen to please. Restaurant dining good I will definitely stay again. The shuttle service is a winner. If you're looking for a quite stay book here. You are only a 15-20 Minutes away from the shopping , etc. Taxi back to Balisani is only Rp50-70,000. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Thank you Grand Balisani Suit Hotel people for making my holiday very very comfortable. PS Take Ben's Bike ride to the Change Markets. Such fun great tour. :-)))

Beautiful Hotel but needs a touch of maintenance”
My girlfriend and I decided to take a short weekend trip away to Bali, and I chose The Grand Balisani Suites Hotel. The Grand Balisani Suites hotel is nicely tucked away at Jln Batubelig Beach in Kerobokan, slightly north of Seminyak, and around 30 min taxi ride from the airport. Friendly service staff greeted and received us as we checked in late at around 9 pm. We got a pleasant surprise in the form of an upgrade to our room to an executive suite room with a nice view of the ocean on the top floor of the resort. However, the room was a bit of a let down, as the toilet flush was not working properly, and the place felt dusty and not well kept. The tv remote ran out of juice within 2 days. In all honesty, I felt that the executive suite room was a little too large with too much empty space, and I would have probably liked a smaller, cozier room after all. The next morning, we headed to the beach, which unfortunately we couldn't swim in. We had a bit of fun with the big waves crashing in, and then decided to go to the pool area instead to wash up and laze around there instead. The pool is very nice, and it has a pool bar which served cocktails and alcohol at hotel prices. Wasn't cheap, but wasn't a big deal either. Service staff are generally friendly and receptive, and are always willing to afford a smile and a helping hand. Housekeeping was satisfactory, and we always were able to get a cab by getting the service staff to help us call for one. A shuttle service runs from the hotel to Kuta and Seminyak at various points in the day, but in all honesty, the taxi rides are cheap and so we only used the shuttle service once. We requested for a late check out at 2 pm, but it was rejected, as they said they needed to get the rooms cleaned and ready by 2 pm. We could only check out at latest 1 pm. It was a bit of a shame, as we had a rather late flight, and it would have been better if we could check out even an hour later.

Loved every moment in the grounds of Grand BaliSani”
A frequent visitor to Bali I have stayed in many resorts along the beach. When I book my resorts I love the feel of large grounds, & traditional feel garden villas. Grand BaliSani ticked those boxes. I stayed 6 nights and loved everyday! Stayed in the garden Villa which was just beautiful oversized bedroom + bathroom, glimpses of the ocean. Visits to the day spa were heaven & well priced. The pool perfect for what you need with beautiful seaside views. First time not taking a breaky option however I ventured to Botanika & watercress at the steet behind most mornings & a walk along the beach up the side alley at W hotel to KYND in Seminyak for breaky another day. Easy accessible for great dinners along the beach & nearby resorts. Walked to LaLaguna & popular foodie places I follow. The only downfall was I had to book through Agoda as hotel website was down & had issues with them needing & waiting over an hour on hold to them as due a refund. I would book this resort again.

Great hotel, great value!”
My husband and I stayed at Grand Balisani for 4 nights and we would definitely come back! Price/performace, definitely a winner. The hotel is remodeled so facilites are very modern and look great (only except for the corridors, but who lingers around hotel corridors in Bali?). The pool was very nice and clean, chairs were plentiful, and breakfast was abundant and tasty. The location is not right in the middle of things, but you can take a 10-min cab to Seminyak for about $2 or walk along the beach for a half hour and you're there. We had a few sandwiches/desserts at the restaurant too, and the food was pretty good. Overall, we thought it was a great choice! As other reviewers mentioned, the towels were not the fluffiest and maybe the marmalade was not Hero, but you can't expect the Marriott right?

yes, the grand balisani occasionally shows its age in places - walls might have an imperfection here and there, and being the tropics you might indeed see a small gecko scamper across your room. but it met and exceeded what i was after as a solo traveler - mainly a safe place with beautiful grounds, beach access and a few luxuries out of the madness of kuta. the hotel itself is gorgeous, and i found the staff to be courteous and accommodating - arranging transport further afield, and greeting every request warmly. no you can't walk directly into seminyak from here - but its a short stroll down a dramatic beach..or a quick cab, the hotel even has a 4x daily shuttle. at the rate offered - it was very good value for money indeed!

Second stay was as amazing as the first”
We first stayed at the Grand Balisani in 2012. We loved it so much, we knew we just had to stay there again when we returned in 2014. The location for us was perfect. An amazing beach on the otherside of the resort wall was ideal for my partner who loves the beach. It is so easy to get to the heart of Seminyak from the Balisani - either walk up the beach or scoot for 10 min! The pool is fantastic- it gets full day sun and the poolside bar is beautiful. Rooms are very spacious - we had a sea view room again (level 4) and the balcony is a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Would highly recommend

Our 5th stay here because we love it so much”
Each time we come back to Bali (yearly) we stay at Balisani..in our favourite room (406). The reasons why we come back to Balisani each time are numerous. Firstly, the staff. They are warm and welcoming and now that they know us, we chat like old friends and talk about whats happened with our families over the previous year. Secondly, the hotel. It is classic Balinese and beautifully positioned on the beach. The rooms are spacious, cool and clean. Thirdly, the food. Snacks by the pool (with a cocktail of course) are great, as is breakfast buffet. Would highly recommend to all couples wanting a beautiful Balinese hotel which is close to the action (Seminyak) but still nice and quiet. The pool is a beautiful haven on a sunny day and I'm already counting down the days till I am back there

Access to beach, Shuttle service, poolside bar, excellent staff, great location great service thanks”
All the staff from the gardeners to the General manager are exceptional and look after every detail for you. Our third visit and stay at Grand Balisani and we will be sure to go back whenever we stay in Bali. The food there is great! If you want to save some dollars there are some great warungs along the beach front with the Cantine being our favourite! But be prepared to share your space at the Cantine with a broad range of clientel. Use the shuttle if you want some shopping done and enjoy a walk back along the beach to return if you don't want a taxi! Great massage service available just behind the store before Balisani always an exceptional massage there plus haircut if you want one. Kathy (sells sarongs on the beach out front and has some beach chairs if you look to your right while facing the beach ) has a great laundry service , will pick up and drop for you, great price and quality.
