what a great staffs and place!”
The Grand Garden Hotel Yangon is homey and comfortable indeed. Especially the staffs; the people who still smile naturally and who are naturally willing to help as well, as though they are hosting or welcoming old friends or relatives or familiy members in their own house. This atmosphere is a rarity on this earth, we mean it. The hotel offers transfer service too, both from or to airport. Simply let them know your flight details they will take care the rest, they are very professional. Another thing is; having flown from Europe to Yangon people have been at least 16 ours in sitting position which burdens your body, the hotel offers spa and massage service with very very... and very reasonable price. And you know what? This facility runs 24 hours! This place is an oase, period! We decided to book there again before we left. Of course we are looking forward for coming back, and we wish it happens soon..

Convenient, clean and great value for money”
The hotel is closely located near Yangon airport. Staffs are helpful. The great thing about this hotel is that they provide one way airport tranfer/drop off for free( at least for us in our package). Our room was clean and spacious and had everything we need for the night. Note that this hotel is great for those who need to catch early flight or late flight. For those who want to stay near downtown, then this hotel is not for you.

Good for transfer.”
The location is 5-10 minutes close and free transportation to to Yangon International Airport. Good breakfast and service. They put us to the under roof room that need to step on the 4th floor. That's right, they have only 3 stories of elevator. The hotel sit in the center of village but not good to walk around and no convenience store close to the hotel. Recommend for traveler who need to catch on early morning flight.

Convenient hotel”
Location is very far from downtown Yangon, but close to the airport, which is why we stayed here. Nice hotel, big beds very comfortable, wish there was a shower though. For some reason the wash basin is installed very low... For very short people. Breakfast is good, never tried out the pool as we were only there for 1 night.

I stayed there just for one night as next morning I had to go to airport. the hotel is located very close to the airport, offers free of charge airport drop off, because my flight was early in the morning they prepared boxed breakfast for me. Generally very good hotel if you want to stay close to the airport.

Standard room is spacious and clean. Although very near to airport, didn’t hear much noise from planes taking off or landing. Rooms are sound proof. Only found out later , you can call them to pick you from airport to hotel. The hotel however is not easy to locate as it’s new and set in the midst of residential area, GPS could not show exact location. Overall a good place to stay.

If you need an excellent, affordable hotel near the airport, look no further. The rates are very competitive and they include a nice, Asian breakfast. Complimentary airport pickup or drop-off is included. The pool is small, but very beautiful surroundings. WiFi service is good, and the restaurant has a nice menu. Highly recommend!

This is very close to the airport, so in between flights, just after or before flights ... super convenient. At the same time there is not much around but the airport and it is about 40 min away from downtown which makes it unsuitable for longer stays if your goal is to visit Yangon.

Great hotel near the airport!”
This is a great place to stay if you’re headed to the airport. Free shuttle, super nice and clean rooms and above all, the free breakfast was the BEST I’ve had in my 11 months of travelling. Highly recommend this hotel!

Loud and Worn-Out Hotel Room”
We stayed in the Grand Garden Hotel twice during our stay in Yangon due to transit. The first time, we got a room in the third floor and that was okay. Small and furniture okay - cleanliness also fine for when you just need a place to sleep and have an early morning departure. We came back 3 days later after our trip to Ngapali and got a room in the adjacent building directly by the street. The room was super loud and bright at night due to the windows being more plastics than glass as well as curtains not covering everything. Moreover, we were missing a „thin“ blanket and had to call several times to get it (we also walked to the reception but the level of English in the hotel is quite low). We only ate breakfast once...looked like it was the leftovers from dinner the day before. We would not come back and rather look for another hotel / guesthouse even though the close proximity to the airport ist great.

Worth the stay”
Booked stay for one night. Free airport transfer. Was initially given a room with no ventilation as wardrobe was placed in between the aircon and bed. Request for a change and they did change to a bigger room. Room was proper equipped with basic necessities. Breakfast was ok. Staffs were helpful. Would come back to stay again.

Good option only for sleep if you have an early flight ”
+Was good becaise I arrived at night and had a super early flight the morning after . I had been earlier visiting Yangon. The area surrounding the hotel is horrible, it's only good for an overnight. -Nobody picked me up from the airport as arranged, I had to fund a phone and rang them :(

Perfect location for day room during long lay over”
Free airport pick-up and drop-off is convenient. We used the room for 12 hours during a lay over. Dropped the luggage and used the bathroom for refreshing before the international flight. We did not make use of any facilities like pool, restaurant or others. For this purpose the hotel is perfect.
