Awesome hotel experience during PKPP”

The receptionist is very helpful once I arrived. Check in procedure is manually done to ensure SOP are follow. So smooth. I just need to swipe both ID & Debit Card for reference. No hidden charges. My room is on level 3 & there is elevator. Once I enter the room, I am amazed to get the price for 3 bed. It is quite small but so much worth it. Everything is so tidy & clean. Everything is provided. The only thing they will charge you if only you took maggi cup @ mineral in mini bar. The toilet is superb. Please come if you care about comfort in budget way. Thank you Grand Hallmark Hotel. I will not hesitate to choose you again.

This is my second stayed in Grand Hallmark Hotel. It is near to my distributor office. I felt so comfort staying in this Grand Hallmark Hotel. The staffs here are friendly and helpful, althought the room is abit small but is clean with big LCD TV. Room rate is reasonable. I'm sure will stay back this hotel for my next business and will recommand to my colleagues as well. I didn't dine in, therefor I rated at average.

Value for money, comfortable & definitely interesting”

Booked a night's stay for a day of shopping in JB. Room was clean and newly furnished, definitely non-smoking as not a hint of smoke could be detected even though it's a renovated hotel. Close by to Aeon Tebrau City and not far from Paradigm Mall either. Enjoyed the shower the most as it came with 3 interestingly different nozzles (waterfall, rain and spray shower) Would definitely pick this hotel for another stay in the future as the price is great for the amenities and convenience for me.

Reasonable price”

Good Location and plenty of parking lot , can even self checking by new computer system . Hallmark hotel is a group and many years experience at hotel line , they really know what guest need and give quality room facilities . Surprise is the FREE breakfast is delicious and big portion .

Grand Hallmark Hotel johor bahru The location aint that bad, close to carrefour though very far from johor bahru city center, around 15 minutes by car. Staff performance wasn't bad or that good either. Rooms are clean, but pretty noisy due to night clubs surrounding Grand Hallmark Hotel. Also during the rain very noisy!

Lovely hotel with big rooms”

I had a lovely and relaxing time at the hotel..I guess the hotel had better soundproof their rooms since I rarely heard any noise coming from the pubs beside the hotel..Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful..The best thing staying here is you cannot get the same standard at other hotels in JB with the same price..For one,the rooms are extra large,has a mini fridge,with very fast free Wi-fi and they even have a DVD player..No other hotel in JB has a DVD player at the price you pay..Parking are not a problem since there a lot of parking lots at the hotel.

Another business trip”

Well, the hotel was good - second or my third time here. It's away from JB town - but I don't mind it at all. Good number of shops outside (but some didn't survey MCO - sadly) The Jaya Grocer downstairs is a big plus. Yeah - probably one of my fav hotels in Johor.

Totally love our stay of the features in the room & shower! Where they had,Not one ,Not two..but 3 types of shower concepts to choose from! How awesome is that! Very comfortable bed with air-conditioning..and also, they are thoughtful enough to place Water dispenser on each floor(outside the lift area) and vending machines on the lobby area! And oh,not forgetting their superb breakfast that me and wifey enjoyed which was really good. Will definitely recommend/come back next time! Hope they can consider to locate more & another location in the city area and close by shopping malls in Johor! Thanks and Keep it up!

Booked a night. With the price i have paid, i must say the facilities are above average. Room is not spacious. Nevertheless just nice for people like me (need the room just for a night rest) In terms of covid protection measures, the hotel has self check-in machine (checked in myself with contactless guide from the staff there). They even serve the breakfast at your door. Nice place and service. Keep up the good work! :)

Made 2 separately booking as we wanted to extend the stay last minute, staffs were very prompt in replying my enquiries via Agoda inbox. The place was easy to find with great location, many good food located nearby. Booked a deluxe double with wooden flooring as I'm allergic to carpet. Was given the renovated room. Very clean and neat room. Toilet comes with 3 showering modes, very cool :) Water pressure was consistent and we didn't have any trouble with it. However, water floods the toilet quickly due to clogged drainage (could be due to accumulated hair from previous travelers). But the staffs were very friendly and helpful and quickly solved the issue. They prepared some food for the travelers at RM4 each in the room. We booked the stay with breakfast included for both days but only went for it on the last day. Breakfast buffet was good with decent selection. The chef uncle was quick in replenishing the food and also very friendly. Overall, I really love the hotel stay! :)

Great hotel with extra added value”

I got the room on the ground floor and I found out it is still large and comfortable.One of the feature that you cannot get at other hotels is the automated toilet bowl..The hotel staffs are very friendly and efficient.I like that they called me earlier to confirm my arrival.Check in time is very fast and hassle free.There is a mini night bazaar right in front of the hotel during my stay and I managed to grab a bite at night.The Wifi is very fast but the only complain is that the mini fridge is not very cold..Hope the hotel will look into this and get them replaced/repaired before my next visit..

Great cheap hotel”

The rooms are consider very huge for the price we are paying, and it was fully equiped with a 29inch lcd, hair dryer, mini fridge and all the needs u would not get in a budget hotel. Bed was very comfortable and soft. This was the best budget hotel i ever stayed at.

For this price with this type of hotel is really good. Coffee shop all around the corner, just few minutes walking distance. Excellent stay, will be back.

Will be better if they check room for smoke before asking new customer to check-in”

We were engulfed in smoke smell when we went to open toilet door, urine smell in wardrobe, toilet drainage choked with previous guests hair and we had to clear the choke drainage as it flooded during bath. Handheld shower was not working, got scalded by rain shower... Pls get housekeeping check these areas before handling room to guests... Overall still pleasent stay once we got rid of the smoke... The urine smell din bother us tat much as we kept the cupboard close, so now the smell shd be still there... We like the cleaner new room without carpets, lighting design is cosier. Room is quiet, insulation is good and we had good rest. Good stay in Tebrau area if price remains at SGD $20 for a 2 person room

Night shift staff”

This is our 2nd time staying. 1st time stay was ok despite toilet has urine smell and TV is spoilt. We are served by a Chinese guy and Malay lady. They are friendly and polite. Was too early to check in so we left our baggage there. Went back at night and an Indian staff pass me the key. I asked for my baggage and she asked me to go take myself from the luggage room. I was shocked but thought I do her a favour even she is so free sitting at the counter. I went to the room and it is dark. I have to find the switch and my baggage. I told her why you asking your guest to take own baggage but she never say anythjng. Grand Hallmark, please educate your staff. Her service is so lousy. The room I stayed was facing the main road and near a pub which I found out the next day. I feedback to the Malay lady that yesterday night was noisy then she said there is a pub. Overall stay was okay.

Good staff, bad location”

i should have done my homework before i booked the room. it turned out that it was quite far from johor bahru city center. it took us about 30 mins and to travel by cab. it's a small hotel but the staffs were quite friendly and nice. the room's features were quite okay. but my room smelled cigarette's smoke. i wished they had smoke free rooms.
