Grand Hometel is a great place to stay if you are going to be around Malad, the IT / ITES hub of Mumbai. The hotel is a 3 minute walking distance from Mind Space, which is home to most technology companies in the area. The hotel rooms are nice; the staff is great and very helpful.

All Day Buffet”
I know hotel location near 2 malls (Infinity Mall & Inorbit Mall). There are many food vendors just 1 km away. Still, if we need meal before doing important activities, neither we can go to mall for dining nor street snacks will be enough for us. Thank God Grand Sarovar Hometel provide buffet for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Just come to FLAVOURS restaurant on level 1 & eat to your heart's content. That's what I always do before go to shooting location to fill energy & after return from shooting location to recharge energy. (Don't order food by Room Service because foods served in buffet are much delicious than served in Room Service)

I have been in much more expensive hotels in Mumbai, and I would say that the difference in price could not worth the difference in service between Grand Hometel and those. Location is non touristic, but there is a higher than standard mall closeby.

Its a great place if you need to stay near Malad, the Mumbai suburb which is home to most IT/ITES companies. The rooms are well kept and are clean. The restaurant has a good choice of Indian and Continental menus. The staff is extremely friendly.

Hotel overbook, but arranged alternative rooms”
Impossible to say, as we never got to stay at Grand Hometel this time around. The hotel was overbook, so upon our arrival there were no rooms available for us, and initially the hotel refused to arranged any alternative hotel rooms for us, only when we got hold of the General Manager and called the police did the front desk and the General Manager arrange alternative rooms for us. We have staid in this hotel on previous visits to Mumbai, and never had to complain about the service, but on this occasion due to the hotel being overbook, the service was found lacking.

Good location, and professional and helpful staff”
The Check-in and check-out process was smooth and fast- we felt all the way comfortable even though we had local-IDs and unmarried couple, there were no unnecessary questions asked or weird expressions thrown upon which we usually face across hotels in India. I was allotted with *01 room which was very near to the pantry/housekeeping service bay- could not get a sound sleep throughout the day due to continuous noise from that end- Hope this improves. But nevertheless the room was quite okay, neat and clean. Will surely be my first choice in my next visit.

Location of the hotel and the surrounding are mediocre. Building next to the hotel is bulging with carton boxes from windows, balconies a real eyesore. Quality of breakfast has gone down. Grand sarovar premiere is a better choice if you are a sarovar hotels fan in Mumbai and want to stay close to airport and malad, goregaon region.

I often make our business colleagues stay at this hotel. Its best for business travellers. However, since I repeatedly book this hotel from Agoda everytime, offlate the price of rooms are higher on agoda than on other sites. So do check other sites before booking through Agoda.

Good location”
The location of the hotel is good, gives easy access to bandra and the northern suburbs. There was a foul smell as soon as you step out of the hotel in the night and morning. Service a bit slow, but the rooms were good and the staff was courteous and good.

Great no frills business hotel”
this is a well managed property having friendly staff, rooms are almost 5 star, they offer free airport pick up and drop plus complementary breakfast which is very lavish. the bakery here is better then many top hotels. there is only one drawback and that is the approach road that leads to the hotel. the corporation must improve the infrastructure

We had a good time of staying in this hotel although we just stayed for one night. The location is pretty good coz it's just around the city, there's some shopping malls nearby and it's very convenient. One thing that i dont like inside the room is the bathroom you cannot even move widely.

Modern hotel with friendly staff”
The room is clean and modern, however, I actually expected more for the price I paid. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The area is qutie far out and nothing happening much in that area. Breakfast was good. Free wifi available. The location is a bit difficult for taxi to find.

Mediocre accommodation ”
The location is good but the hotel itself is a bit old and run down. The rooms were not carpeted and there was not enough towels and linens for all booked persons. The room was clean but the TV channels were limited. Overall a passable place if you need to be in that location.

The only thing that was not good was they had rooms and i had arrived early morning but was waiting till 10am. As i was checking out the next day by mdnight and paid for 2nights stay so I think the hotel should be flexible when it comes to these things.
