Great Hotel!”
- Staffs at the Information Center are really nice and speaks English fluently. They provide luggage keeping service and offer us free shuttle bus to the hotel. - At first I was a little worried about the self check-in process in the hotel, but it turns out fine because there was a staff who helped us check-in and we also received the check-in code by email on time (I received the email at 12 PM, around 4 hours before check-in time). - The room is big and clean. We can open 4 big luggage in the room at the same time. - Hotel location is near the Nijo station, sushi restaurant, 100 yen shop, and Daiso by walking distance. Overall, it was a very nice stay in this hotel.

We are really impressed by Grand Japaning Hotel Nijo staff (yellow sweater) during our check-in process in the evening of February 16th, 2019. She was really helpful and speaks English fluently. The room was very clean and all accommodation was very good. Furthermore, we had a very good experience at Japaning Office near Kyoto Station where we can have a good rest and a place to perform our prayer. Definitely will come back to explore Kyoto again. I loved staying at grand japaning hotel nijo!!! It was sooo clean,comfort, the heater workeddd perfectly, near from public transportation (jr station,bus stop). It was sure the best💙 And this hotel was very hi tech..when you want to check in & out,,you just need to click the ipad!!! Super cool!!!

Check in by email confirmation and tablet in hotel reception without receptionist. But you can rest and store luggage for free at Grand Japaning office nearby Kyoto station before check-in and after check-out. Staffs in the office are super kind and helpful, thanks the staffs for assisting when I need hot water for milk making to my child, and also searching for my pre-book ticket delivery from third party to the office. I had enjoyed free shuttle bus to Kinkakuji too! Grand Japaning Hotel Nijo located at a quiet area, just few minutes walk from Nijo Station, opposite is 100yen shop and 100yen sushi restaurant, a few ramen shops nearby too. Room is nice, toilet with bathtub and free laundry service! Beds and quilts are comfortable, my kid love it so much.

Walking distance from subway to hotel is about a few mins which consider near enough. Nearby with supermarkets and restaurants which is super convenient. Room is clean, big and comfortable (especially the toilet)! I love it so much! A little bit costly but is worth it :)

We stayed at the deluxed japanese style room for 6. Room and bathroom is spacious. Bathroom even have bathtub. Shower/automatic toilet available. Style of the room is elegant and clean. Hotel is just 5mins walk from Nijo station. Self checkin and checkout. You just have to wait for their email for the entrance code and your room pin. Entrance code will be sent to your email before your arrival. Room pin will be sent to you after you checkin. Make sure to follow the steps they provided for hassle free checkin. We choose the Ryokan room type and totally love it. No front desk. Check in procedure using the procedure given to your email. You will be given the password to your room. Our first time using this type of check in process. Will definitely stay here again. Love from Malaysia

It was a pleasure experience staying here. The room is very spacious and clean. It is supposed to run in a self-check in mode but it happens that there were occasionally staffs at the reception desk who are all very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is about 3-5 minutes walk to Nijo subway or JR station and it’s convenient to take trains under either line. Overall a good value for money. Will consider staying again next time visiting Kyoto!

The hotel located not too near to public transport but the office offered free shuttle to send us to the hotel. The office also provides free shuttle to some famous tourist spots. Very clean and spacious hotel just the check in procedures are a quite hard as there's no staff. We check in by using the ipad in hotel lobby.

Additional charge (Tax) upon check in”
Staff was very helpful. We arrived in Kyoto Station four hours before the official check-in time so we deposited our luggage at the Japaning Hotel Info Center just across the Kyoto Station Bus Terminal. For a small fee (500 yen per luggage), they delivered our luggage to this hotel while we spent the whole afternoon touring the city. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood in Kyoto and is only a few minutes walk from the JR Nijo Station and Tozai Subway. The only negative thing I can say is a 3K yen tax that was charged to us upon check-in. We did not mind paying for it but it should have been included in the table of fees in Agoda.
