Posh, great breakfast, great deal”
The Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort was a fantastic bargain, thanks to Agoda. As tourism has slowed to a stand-still in Thailand and hotels are doing everything they can to encourage people in country to travel and visit, we got our Deluxe Seaview room for about 22% of the regular price (including breakfast for 2!). The room was well-equipped with a stand-up shower and a full tub. The room was spacious and the view from the balcony was stunning (overlooking the whole resort with decent lines of site to the north and south along the coast). The sunrise was fantastic from that balcony. Breakfast was excellent, and the coffee bar where it is served is posh, comfortable and spacious. The staff there are kind, courteous and very helpful. Some areas of the hotel, specifically on the way from the welcome desk to the pool area, have a bit of a musty smell, but everything was clean. The pools were pristine and gorgeous, and the welcome staff were excellent as well. I would not stay here at the regular price, but with such deals available we decided to splurge a bit and stay at a 5-star resort. With so few guests, I'm sure we did not get the full "5-star" treatment or see all the hotel really has to offer, but at the deal price it was too good to pass up, and we were not disappointed.

Thank you for your choice to stay with us. We looking forward to welcome you in the future.
Very quiet stay in Cha am”
Grand Pacific is a lovely hotel and definitely recommended once you've worked out the better value alternatives to taxis, food and spa treatments. The hotel is clean, huge, rather Grand and has gorgeous swimming pools and terraces. The lounge bar unfortunately seems to be forever empty except for a piano singer (a la Lost In Translation but not as good). Cha am is not somewhere I'd highly recommend for a dream beach holiday but it was a lovely relaxing place and the hotel itself sits right on the beach. The beach is thin and when the tide is out is still not really a place for hours of sunbathing. Loads of locals come here for short breaks and camping and leave their rubbish everywhere unfortunately. The hotel sun beds on the grass just off the beach in front of the hotel seemed to be the most popular place for guests to relax and around the lovely swimming pools. The amenities the hotel provides such as taxis and trips and treatments are really expensive which is a shame as the stay was great value. We opted to get breakfast nearby instead of pay £7 each every morning (which is so much for Thailand) . A 5 minute walk away is Baan Fern Talay which does great food for less than half the Grand Pacific price. The hotel's shuttle to Hua Hin goes at rather useless hours... 2pm-5pm just wasn't long enough. Although at night 7pm-10pm is perfect for the night markets and a meal. (You'll need a taxi of some sort, it's at least a 10-15 minute drive on the fast dual carriage way) . We didn't like Hua Hin at all. It's rammed with people on and off the beach and the beach is long but again doesn't get very wide even when the sea is out and it's covered in sun beds.

Luxury Hotel in budget City”
Looking at the hotel in isolation I can find nothing to complain about - its a very nice hotel and at the price we paid its fantastic value for the money. I do have a concern about the location in Cha-am. Had this hotel been in Hua Hin it would make a lot more sense, but then it would also be double the price or more. Cha-am is a budget tourist destination, mostly visited by Thai people from Bangkok in their twenties. This means there's a lot of cheap food available, but I'm not sure that the guest in this hotel will find it attractive. In Hua Hin you can also find relatively cheap sea food, but served in a much more civilised matter. There is a 20 minutes drive to Hua Hin, so getting there is not a big problem though.

The very nice hotel in Cha-am; Recommended!!!”
This is the first time that our family stay in Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort & Spa. we appreciate this resort very much. The room is very big and beautiful that make us feel very relax. The service there is great. Also, the food (breakfast) is various. There are 3 beautiful swimming pools. My parents and my son are very happy when staying there. We plan to come back again soon and would like to stay in the deluxe room which hace an access to swimming pool. This is the recommended resort in Cha-am for the people who would like to avoid crowded people in Hua-Hin; however, they can visit and have some food in Hua-Hin in a very short time (20 mins).

Beautiful, beach front hotel but incovienient area”
this hotel was simply lovely, had decent service, and was right on the beach. it's best to know that the hotel is located in cha-am, though the address says hua hin/cha-am. the bus from bangkok went all the way to hua hin, and we were quite far from the hotel. there is another bus station in cha-am, but have them call a taxi for you or arrange for the hotel to pick you up. we were told it wasn't a far walk, and ended up dragging our luggage for an hour up the beach. out of no where this grand hotel appears, amongst food and trinket stalls. a half hour walk will get you to the main, busy road but don't try walking on it- apparently it's perfectly acceptable to drive on the shoulder, and there is no pedestrian walk way. insist that the hotel order you a tuk tuk or taxi- though they need three hours notice! the hotel has a service desk for booking transportation and tours, which is helpful. however, they advertise a lot of tiger temples and animal shows. avoid these and opt for wildlife friends sactuary for animals abused by these tourist traps, instead. the beach was lovely, especially to relax under an umbrella and enjoy a treat from one of the street vendors.

Spectacular”
Grand Pacific is a five star quality hotel nestled quietly in Cha am. There are now many hotels in Cha am and Hua Hin and competition now means that we can enjoy the luxury of this hotel an affordable price. The hotel is on the beach front which is quite a distance from Cha am city centre but the hotel does have a shuttle that go to Hua Hin market. The hotel has large well appointed rooms with quality furniture and bedding. There are three swimming pools and spectacular views of the sea from the sea view rooms.. The beach is easily accessible just across the road and the beach is nice for playing or swimming. Three in house restaurants and plenty of variety at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is a slight distance to 7/11 convenience shops but bicycles are available for rent and the ride alone the beach front road is safe and pleasant.

Great hotel...spacious seaview room”
breakfast had good varieties, with the fried chinese dough with condense milk (something that can't be found at many hotels for the buffet breakfast). Sunbeds with umbrellas were set up by the beach so lying down the whole day breathing the sea breeze without doing anything was a bliss. There are two levels of swimming pools, though we didn't try them...we just came to do nothing. It was a very good hotel. For the Thais without your own car, to get there you can just take a minivan from the Victory MOnument heading towards Cha-Am (160 Baht/person/one-way) or Hua Hin, get off at the minivan terminal in Cha-Am, and take a motorcycle taxi (50 Baht/person) to the hotel. It's around 7 mins. motorcycle ride from the minivan terminal. Don't forget to ask for the phone number of the minivan company for your return trip. You can just call the minivan number to reserve your seats for your return trip (tell them what time you want to go back). The van may come and pick you up from your hotel, hence, you may save the cost of the motorcycle taxi...but otherwise, the van can also arrange for the motorcycle taxi to pick you up and drop you off at the minivan terminal.. We had a good time staying there and will stay there again if have a chance.

Luxurious and quiet”
we arrived in cha-am two days earlier than expected and after some negotiation we were upgraded to a better room (duplex room overlooking pool) and were not charged the weekend rate. the room was amazing - clean, quiet and big. the downstairs bathroom was excellent with a free standing bath and separate shower. there was also a mini dressing room. the hotel is even better than it appears on photographs. there are three pools over three different levels which provide amazing views out to sea. the pool area, on the top two levels, was very spacious and clean. the food is excellent, the pasta in the italian restaurant is hand-made and fresh. the service may be a little hap-hazard but is made up for with free canapes which included smoked salmon and king prawns. breakfast was very good - quite a lot of choice and is of a high quality. it included bacon, sausage as well as baked beans! there was also pasta, thai food and a wide selection of cheese and cold meats. overall, the staff were very friendly and were good at organising transport into town via the hotel tuk tuk. cha-am is predominantly a resort for thai people which means not many people speak english. however, after spending time in phuket and other places where vendors are rife and relentless, this is more of a bonus than a hindrance!

Exactly what we were looking for”
We loved it. My boyfriend and I wanted to spend a few days relaxing away from the chaos of Bangkok. We got exactly what we were looking for. This resort is beautiful and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and professional. We spent two days relaxing by the beach and the pool on the very comfortable lawn chairs they provide. They also provide a free tuk tuk service that will take you into Cha-am at different times of the day (they have a schedule at the front desk). There is also a van that will take you into Hua Hin for $200 Baht per person. Bottom line, if you are looking to spend a few days relaxing at a beautiful resort right on the beach, this is the place. We hope to go back soon!

Quiet Passion on the Sea of Thailand”
We took a flyer to stay here and it was worth every penny. The grounds are spacious and you are right on the beach which has a private set of cabannas for guests use. Being in south Cha-Am was ablessing. It was great not to be in the hectic hustle and bustle of Hua Hin, or the overcrowing of central Cha-Am. Even so, everything was in easy driving distance of the hotel. The room was well appointed and we had both a bath tub and rain shower in the room. We are planning on returning.

Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort & Spa”
The rooms at the Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort & Spa are spacious and well-designed with a daybed conveniently tucked away in the corner. The large bathtub and powder room adds an air of luxury. The Italian restaurant was superb! The hotel staff was extremely accommodating for a wheelchair bound occupant though the hotel itself is built on many levels with steep ramps and stairs.

Great Getaway!”
We came to the Grand Pacific Sovereign looking for a nice little getaway for a long weekend, and boy did it deliever! We stayed in a duplex pool view room that allowed us to have our 1 year old sleep at night while my wife and I could still watch movies, enjoy our balcony, and just hang out. The staff at the Grand Pacific Sovereign is tremendous. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need. The restaurants are all top notch, and the breakfast buffet is worth the 2 hour drive from Bangkok itself! We definitely will be coming back again, as you simply cannot beat what you get for your money at this resort.

Excellent Resort”
Stayed at Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort for 2 nights. Check in was prompt and staff were very attentive. Nice lobby with a cosy lounge. The room I had was spacious and beautiful. The bathroom is really great, and it has a built in wardrobe. Living area had really nice sofas and the view from the balcony was terrific. The bed is located on the 2nd floor. Big and comfy bed, one of the most comfortable bed that I've slept on! Laundry services were amazingly swift and efficient. They got mine done in like about 2 hours. Location is not one of the best though, probably about 5min walk away from main activities. It doesn't matter if you drive, as there are ample of parking space. Highly recommended.

Worth spending, Large room and Variety of breakfast.”
We spend time here during long holiday. The room is big and well arranged. Location is quite far to travel around the shopping area in Hua Hin but you can enjoy Cha-Am beach. Also, this hotel located on South Cha-Am beach that much peaceful than Northside. Its a very good location for who looking for hotel to stay at Cha-Am

Grand Pacific Sovereign is the best in Cha-Am”
Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort & Spa is the best in Cha-Am. The hotel is quiet and clean and next to the beach with a few minutes walk, and the overall facilities are great close to 5 star hotel, but the only obstacle is when you come from the lobby to the beach is a bit confusing.

Great time in Cha-am”
We spent a great time at the Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort & Spa in Cha-am over Songkran holidays. The hotel was clean, safe, luxurious, child-friendly and made all requested amenities available without delay. Food and beverages were slightly overwhelmed by many people arriving resulting in some inconveniences. The pools and beach access are fantastic, we'll definatly be back for more!

Accommodating Management And Staffs.”
บริการดีมากขอบคุณครับ! Being a Global Business Traveller and suffering from bouts of Hypertension and Palpitations of the Heart is really a problem and no laughable matter. Most importantly, is when you check into the particular Hotel and that every manager and staffs remembers you, takes care of your vital needs and eases your mind with 5 Star services from the heart; that could at any day, anytime, stand toe to toe with any International 5 Star Hospitality! This can be said of the managements and staffs of The Grand Pacific Sovereign Hotel in Cha’am! Their kind gestures and understandings really contributed to my wonderful and peaceful stay! Thank You very very much! I really appreciate it! Eric Room 1418.

Wonderful Room and 3 Great Swimming Pools”
the best hotel in cha-am and hua hin in our opinion. great value! big, newly furnished room and great swimming pools. location is great to, suggest renting a bike for wandering around cha-am. one problem as i tend to do some business when i travel was a lack of free internet in the rooms (and even the lobby)!

Luxury at a reasonable price”
The grand pacific sovereign is a very new 5 star hotel. The staff are all very professional and excellent communicators. We got a special deal with agoda and stayed in a beautiful room overlooking the pool and the beach. The restaurant ( italian ) was also exceptionally good quality and a reasonable price. Apart from the location ( not a problem if you have a car ) we could find no complaint with this hotel. We wanted to stay longer but had to move on.
