Relaxing, secluded trip full of Marine life!”
Thanks a lot for a great vacation! We spent 10 days at this wonderful island. The breakfast were always 10/10 with a lot of variety, fresh juices and a yummy pastries. The room (Ocean Overwater Villa) was worth it since you had sun basically all day and had the reef at your feet). They were always cleaned 2x a day, and they were spotless (Thanks to the cleaning and turndown service!). The wildlife there was amazing, even just with snorkelling. We saw dolphin pods at breakfast and from our room, turtles, sharks, lobsters, squid and lots of fish at the reef! We even saw a few Bioluminescent Plankton 2 of the nights. The water is how you expect it, transparent, picture perfect and the sand the whitest I have ever seen. The island felt very private and secluded and you never saw big crowds, even if they hotel was at max. capacity. The staff were very all very friendly. Special thanks to both Sarocha (Marine Biologist) and Himani (Yogi). They were amazing!! I learnt so much about the wildlife there and could meditate almost everyday with the great classes :) The speed boat was very comfortable and took 20-25 mins. Something to improve: The Buggy service is quite loud, especially at night. It shakes the room most of the times. Maybe bikes would be a better choice! Also, I would have liked to see more Maldivian inspired dishes at the restaurants! Thanks again!

Warm welcome”
Can’t forget the way they welcomed me. On the speedboat from airport to hotel, they gave all the guest a simple gift with hand sanitizer and face mask. The staff also offered a wet facetowel to freshen up yourself from the warm weather. When we reached the hotel, there’s a group of people who welcomed us with their warmest smile and live drum music in the background. Loo Ee was the one who assisted me. She took me in my room via golf cart and gave me orientation about the hotel. I noticed that my name was on the television as the hotel’s welcome greeting. I really felt special. Pineapple drink, 2 bottles of water and fruits are also in my room to welcome me. They have 3 restaurants in the hotel. I went to The Edge restaurant (buffet resto) and tried their dinner which is not included in my booking. It’s pricey but I told myself it will be for this moment so I grabbed it. I love the food! Especially the sea food curry, chicken tikka and the coffee brulee. The hotel’s facilities were amazing. Elegant and clean. You can swim to their infinity pool beside Breeze restaurant while having a beautiful view of the ocean. On my check out date, they allowed me to stay until the 3rd hr of my boarding time. I had a good time sightseeing while sipping my mixed fruit juice from Breeze Resto. Thank you GrandPark for this memorable experience.

Honeymoon trip in khodipparu”
We choose lagoon villa during our stay . You will be charged usd 180/person for round trip speedboat transfer and usd500 will be collected as deposit once you reach there. but all the expenses will be deducted from the deposit first so no worry. They provide free breakfast, and can order ala carte for lunch and buffet dinner usd 100/person. Dinner quite expensive, you can order ala carte food to dine in room. Food are very delicious. Location very nice, just 20 minutes from male airport. You can inform them earlier about the arrival flight date and timing so that they will pick you up once you reach male airport. The room is very clean and tidy, they provide room cleaning twice a day and the staff are very polite and friendly. You can also borrow the snorkeling equipment from them as foc and snorkel as much as you want, you can see a lot of fishes over there at khodipparu. The water there are very clean and won't feel sticky after playing at the beach or after snorkeling. Thank you

Awesome resort”
Had an amazing time at this beautiful resort . The water villa was very clean, cosy & comfortable. The decor was chic & tasteful. We spent a lot of time looking out for beautiful fishes through the glass floor inside the room. The snorkeling just outside the villa was great with shallow water & diverse marine life. The breakfast buffet offering International cuisines was very good too. The service was excellent. They were very thoughtful in arranging for complimentary chocolates during our dinner at Firewood restaurant & a cake in the villa when they found out that we had a birthday celebration. The only gripe that we have is that the regular buggy movement on the wooden path disturbed the otherwise peaceful surroundings. This was a minor issue that did not ruin our experience at this resort. We would still highly recommend this resort. Two thumbs up!

Wonderful experience ”
Love the overwater villa, which was clean, spacious and chic. Booked the lagoon view but a tad pity that the view we were facing was another small island with some construction going on. Although its rainy season, thankful that it was still hot and sunny throughout the stay except for one day. We also went on a guided snorkeling tour by Peter, whom had taught us a lot on the underwater species. We wouldn’t had dare to venture out to near the ocean if not for him and it was magnificent seeing the ocean dropoff. The buffet meals were great and changed everyday and hence, we never got sick of it. Also, the hotel arranged for late check out without us requesting for it, knowing our flight timing, which was really nice gesture and appreciated that. All in all, its a great place to stay and we’d hope to return again!! ◡̈

We loved this hotel! It is beautifully designed with picturesque views and fantastic sunsets. The rooms were super comfortable at night and bright and breezy during the day. The hammock on the balcony was great for sunbathing and stargazing. We also managed to do yoga on our balcony, which was a very unique experience with the calming water and beautiful skies. We went snorkelling behind our room and actually saw a nice variety of sea life (we had an ocean view room). The attentiveness, friendliness and professionalism of the staff was the highlight though, they made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel, it’s great for Instagram too :).

Nice views, Nice food and Amazing Spa”
We stayed here for 5days 4nights, I have to say that the first 3 days were totally destroyed by our first lifestyle host Kai. Until now I don’t know what happened to him, no smiles no kind words. He was impatient to our enquiries and always trying to move to another topic when we tried to talk about the buggy stuffs and other feedbacks. On the 3rd day everything just burst out, his mean words almost drove us mad so we was considering changing to another resort. We didn’t mention a single word related to refunds but he said ‘sure you have the right to leave the resort earlier but we’ll definitely not give you any refunds’. I don’t understand how could a well-trained staff say that to us in that situation. it feels like he was always trying to win the conversation and he’s won already coz we got very angry. Only then I realised the problems might be from Kai because he never dealt with our feedbacks effectively. We wanted to try just changing a Lifestyle host or even just spend the rest of our holiday without this man, and I was so grateful to have Loo Ee, a friendly girl to take over the assistance. She was very patient and helpful, after her taking over everything became much much easier. She gave us her WhatsApp so we didn’t need to go back to the villa to call her every time ( that’s what Kai asked us to do). The last two days were very relaxing, since our flight was at 1125pm the last day, the hotel offered us a complimentary late checkout. The hotel group gave their sincere apologies for our encounters in the first few days, which brought us a lot more comforts. I have to say that it’s still a recommended resort in Maldives, other staffs are really nice. The views on this island are picturesque, their Spa really worths trying. The staffs served us were all from Bali, with Bali smiles and Bali spa cultures. We enjoyed the food there and we normally had breakfast at the Edge, lunch at the Breeze and dinner at the Firedoor. Definitely a paradise on Earth”
Excellent Airport arrival and departure team, greeted by a host, Daria, who brought us on a tour of the places and amenities around the island on a golf cart. Had in room check-in where she explained about the services offered and served welcome drink for us. It's a minor thing but as our second names are patronymic, and not family names, they actually edited the welcome screen on the TV to reflect this. It was a nice gesture. We were able to see the sunrise on the balcony, which was really beautiful. Morning is good for snorkelling as the ocean is calmer and the tides are low. A lot of variety of fishes. We were even swimming with black tip reef sharks and stingrays and that was at the beach side of the ocean. There was also an octopus with a lair near Villa 28. There's an in-house glass bottom area for you to look at the marine life too. Staff were friendly and made us feel at home, from the ones at the breakfast table such as Rekha, to the hotel manager, Nasru. Thank you!

Stayed 4 days 3 nights here. Warm welcomed by friendly staff Kai led us to our Pool Water Villa. First of all, the villa was absolutely decent and clean at its best. Housekeeping twice a day to ensure to room has been made up nicely whenever we back to the room. Food wise, saw previous comments on the downside, but it was absolutely great for us, regardless of breakfast or lunch the food are above our expectation, followed by a meal in Firedoor was totally exceptional! Would say that one of the highly recommended vacation place in Maldives would be Grand Park Kodhipparu.

I was there with my wife from 30 Jan to 3 Feb 22, and I enjoyed the stay; upon arrival, the front desk staffers warmly welcomed us. I was hosted by A staff namely, Lai Kai Yuan, was excellent and helped me from the beginning until the last day of my stay in Grand Park. During his off-day/off-duty, he would contact me and asked my experience in Grand Park. Thus far; he was the best hotel staff I have seen it all over the world! A thumbs up to him and his team. Lastly, I like to give a thumbs up to the restaurant supervisor Karthir; was excellent and helped us personally by advising me what the food we could have is? Also, he went beyond his line of duty; to request the chef to create unique dishes for us based on the “Feast Package” we had! Cheers, and please reward the staff accordingly!

First time in Maldives. Stayed in both beach villa n overwater pool villa.Kudos to our lifestyle host Loo Ee.Check in was smooth. Feedback on freshness on one of the fruits and the host personally passed whole new fruits basket to us.Food were delicious.Some breakfast items changed daily n this is definitely a good approach. Birthday dinner preparation on the beach was perfect. All the staff were friendly n approachable. The villas were so romantic,spacious n comfortable.Super highly recommend this resort. Arrival: - Warm and inviting The transportation from Male to Grand park was 20mins by speed boat, However, once the island comes into view, all your travel woes and tiredness immediately fades away as you hear and see the resort staff singing and waiting for you at the jetty. From the moment we arrived and stepped onto the jetty we met our butler Omar, who greeted us with all his staff colleagues fresh, From there we were taxi'd around the resort while Omar explained all the resort features and suggested calling him to make lunch and dinner reservations. By the time we finished our quick tour of the island he took us to our rooms and our luggage was already reached our room. Biking the island is a lot of fun and much faster than exploring the island by foot. Exceptional”
My husband and I went to Grand Park Kodhipparu for our honeymoon, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The island was peaceful and quiet. The facilities were immaculately clean, the staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating, and the ocean and pool were simply stunning. The food was great, with a large menu and large portion sizes, and we were also very impressed by the afternoon we spent at the spa facilities. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to spend our honeymoon.

PROS: Near at Velena Airport At lot of type of rooms to choose Superb Hospitality New Hotel (Dec 2017) Free snorkeling gear to borrow Small island (10-15mins by walk) Beach club (PS4, Billiards, Badminton, Chess) Beds near infinity pool Can use facilities (except room) even after check out CONS:(personal preference) Transfer boat to expensive (180usd two-way person) Water activities too expensive( jet ski with guide 20mins-110usd, w/o guide 155usd) (snorkeling 2pax 60mins-270usd, 4pax 405usd) Borrowed snorkeling gear must be returned personally before 6pm if you are checking out the next day Buggy tracks on the villa a bit noisy Infinity Pool is salty(maybe we swam early? 8-9am) No fresh seafood dishes on buffet (morning and dinner, lunch is set meal) (didn't not try the FireHouse their high end restaurant, maybe they cook fresh dishes there at a price) Tips: If you're a hard drinker, go for All-In package, so worth, but not all drinks included Bring free water on the villa to Lunch and Dinner, no free water, you have to purchase if not all-in package Ask earlier boat transfer to airport, we we're given 6pm boat ride on a 8:55pm flight, too short preparation at the airport IMO Still we enjoyed our honeymoon, Highly recommend!

Perfect stay”
From the moment we arrived at airport we felt welcomed by hotel staff.during speed board journey to hotel we were served with cold water and cold towel.it was such a relief since weather is hot and tired of travelling.the moment we arrived at hotel entrance staffs never stop smiling and ready to serve.we had buggy tour to all the facilities by Marina who kindly explained throughly everything.i was impressed with welcome drink which is quite tasty and a smooth in room check in was done by Marina.i would like to suggest take all inclusive package as you can save a lot of money and have discounts on spa services.overall it was a lifetime experience and surely i l come back again to this hotel.kudos to all staffs who never stopped smiling and helpful throughout our stay.

Very beautiful place and fantastic staffs ”
The place is a paradise.. just 20 mins boat ride from Male International airport.. There were staffs from the hotel awaiting for us as soon as we came out of the airport.. We were welcomed in a worm way at the hotel though we reached by 10:30 am and the checkin was at 2:00 pm as per the hotel policy, they didn’t make us wait.. One can purchase a scuba diving kit and do as much as u like though not advisable after sunset.. Only thing which was negative was the food pricing.. a bit overpriced a cola tin was costing 6$ plus tax, a carlsberg beer small bottle was around 9$ plus tax.. water was free and plenty to drink though.. Overall it was a very good experience and I do always recommend and always carry some extra $s..

Wonderful stay for my parents!”
I had booked Grand Park Kodhipparu as a vacation for my parents (both 50+). They don't speak English so I had to coordinate with the GPKD staff to help them in their stay. Right from the pick-up from the airport to stay and dinner arrangements, everything was perfect. My parents really enjoyed their stay and from the pictures, the resort property and the Pool Villa that my family stayed in looked wonderful. I would plan this for myself. Also, special kudos to the GPKD staff for being ever patient with my constant email queries. Mr. Mohit Kumar from GPKD was really helpful and forthcoming in his help. Thanks a lot to the GPKD team.

Amazing & memorable stay”
Everything about Grand Park Kodhipparu is amazing. It is a totally private island and there will be no outside tourists taking "excursion trip" from other island to this island. The resort is just 2 year old so there's still live corals and colorful fishes & stingrays near our villa. We're even lucky to see dolphins at the Edge during breakfast. Customer service is beyond perfect, it started the moment we start breathing Maldives' air until we entered the security check for departure at airport. And we were really impressed by the birthday surprises arranged by Grand Park. We had a very memorable experience at the island.
