friendly , warm welcome, good staff ”

Green world is for many years probably the best Hotel in Songkhla as long you don't have the idea to stay direct on the Beach. Rooms (Junior suite) comfortable, very good size, very effective house keeping, front office always helpful and friendly, car park attendants supportive and even if you use it as pure holiday destination, rent a car and nothing is too far.

Songkhla Special”

From the initial contact with Reception staff, my stay at the Greenworld Palace was absolutely enjoyable. The check in process flowed smoothly and the service at the front desk was great. The room was very spacious and clean, and the facilities were all in good working order. The daily cleaning of the room was done to a very high standard, and every staff member I had contact with was helpful and friendly.The Restaurant offered a great menu with food being served to a good standard.I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Songkhla owing to the great experience it offerd me on my visit in July.

Still good value for money hotel”

This is my second review of this hotel in three weeks, why? Because we liked the hotel and Songkhla sufficiently to stay again. Definitely a hotel to be comfortable in with the only real negative being the 3 hour per day limited free internet access.

A Valentine's Day break ”

We booked The Green World Palace Hotel for a short break over the Valentine's Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable with a good size balcony which overlooked the water, and perfectly positioned to watch the sunset in the evening. Thoughly enjoyed our stay.......just wish it was longer !

Nice hotel ”

Decided to stay in Songkhla (instead of Hadyai) during the Chinese New Year holiday, and boy, it was a good choice The hotel was clean, and the room that we stayed looked like just recently refurbished/renovated. I think i remembered the cleaning lady said that it's newly built or something. Breakfast spread - nothing to shout about. We stayed there only one night so breakfast variety definitely still ok. The hotel is not exactly in the centre of the Songkhla town, but it's easily accessible - good if you drive in Songkhla

Amazing”

I have been to Songkhla before but cannot find this hotel. This time around I saw it in agoda and after look at the pictures and rating I'll give it a try. The hotel is out of mainroad, newly renovated clean and very quiet. We stayed in Junior Suite. The pool is very nice & children friendly. Highly recommended for anybody who want to stay in Songkhla.

good location. very attentive and friendly staff, many of already working for years at Green World Palace. It's definitely worth to spent a bit more and book the quite new Junior suites on level 2.

Good value option in Songkhla”

The breakfast was excellent. Good range of options. The Asian food being better than the western options but plenty of choice. The hotel is a bit tired and seems dated now but was once upon a time quite grand. Excellent pool area with lovely views over the lake and towards the mountains. Staff have no English (and Google translate has its limitations). Loads of places to eat nearby but very few have menus in English or speak much of it. About a 20min walk to the Old Town area but can get lifts on Songtaews or motorbikes. A reasonable value for money choice for Songkhla which doesn't have a great choice of hotel options.

Value-for-money Family Room”

We stayed two nights with our 3 children. The room was big enough for us all. The beds can accommodate 4 adults comfortably. Towels were provided for four persons and changed daily. Toiletries & the mini bar were for two persons. Electric kettle, hair-dryer, & ironing facilities are available in the room. The bathroom is spacious and well-maintaned with ample surface to put stuff on. The swimming pool is nice. Breakfast was okay since we only opted for cereals and toasts as it was not halal-certified. Only Thai TV channels and we wished there were more power sockets for our two laptops and cellphones. Some of the light switches were blocked by furnitures but we managed to just easily move the furnitures a bit. A carpet would make things perfect but not really necessary as the floor was so clean. Location-wise, not so close to convenient stores or tourist objects, so driving is recommended--as in most parts of Songkhla.

coming there regularly since many years , it is always good. For my purpose (I'm on a business trip in the region) it is perfect. Comfortable Junior suites , friendly staff , location, all is well , B'fast ok , car parking ok, pool ok. Songkhla is worth a visit.

Junior suites are a good value for money deal, Songkhla center not too far away, better to have a car to explore beaches, city and vicinity.

Nice & Clean rooms but far from beach ”

We have stay here 2 days. Rooms was nice. atmosphere also great. But quite far from beach and other happening places in songkhla. They charge us for water that we did not use.

Great spa, terrible food. ”

First, the staff seemed stand-offish. Congeniality is not something you are going to see much of at any Songkhla hotel. The food was quite sub-par, to the point where I just gave up and ordered pizza delivered, or went out. The restaurant staff acted as if they had never seen a customer before, and the food choices are, well, yuk. My room, the "Jr. Suite", however was quite nice and comfortable. Having been recently remodeled, it was very modern, clean, and pleasant. While there was a wireless router right outside my room, I would not say that it was very good. The spa was nice, and in-room Thai massages are to be had at a very reasonable price. All in all, the staff it seemed to me, could use some customer relations training. For the money, hands down the nicest hotel in Songkhla city.

Trip advisor rates the Green World Palace low, the Agoda reviews are much closer to the mark. No it isn't flash but would definaty stay again, could do with a gym but for the price it is good

Average hotel for Songkhla”

This is only an average hotel in Songkhla and there are probably better as far as value for money goes. One particular annoyance is only 3 hours of Internet per day along with a coupon system to use it, meaning a trip to the front desk every day. Free WiFi is expected in all hotels these days and has been available in the last 2 hotels I have stayed in Songkhla. Location is a bit isolated from the main shopping area if you don't have your own transport.

modern interior and great service”

i stayed here for 2 nights and am satisfied with their level of service and cleanliness. nice modern feel to their rooms and it's clean. wifi is fast enough and able to log in using iphone. there is not free bottled water thus please be prepared to buy some from nearby 7-eleven or grab a few beers in the bars opposite the hotel. bathroom is big and clean as well. room comes with breakfast, asian and american selection. had dinner in the hotel restaurant. had tom yam goong, a crab dish and tempura prawns. all was nice! room isn't too cold. they are using johnson controls as the ambient controller but it still feels warm even though i set it all the way down to 5 deg cel.

Very good hotel with many accomodation”

It's the first time I go to this hotel. I found it by Internet, using TripAdvisor to select it. I am particularly satisfied xith the room and the breakfast. Very clean and quiet. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Very good hotel for a Nice price”

My stay at this hotel was wonderfull, Nice clean rooms and very modern. The food was very good. I stayed at the suite rooms and they where Nice, the staff where very helpfull and i enjoy my stay in this hotel :)
