The Glidilly Backpackers Hostel, the signboard is the Green Inn Backpacker Hotel, the key deposit is 20 SGD, the environment is clean, the bed has curtains, and there is a coin-operated washing machine. There is breakfast in the morning, there are bread biscuits, jam and butter peanut butter can be dip, there are also can be used to make cereal, bread can be placed in the toaster to bake, drink coffee and tea can be soaked. The toilet and shower are integrated and the space is large. The only bad thing is that the wifi signal is poor, and it will be disconnected from time to time.

This hostel had a 6.9 rating when I booked it, I stayed in places that were like 8 or 9 stars in Singapore. Genuinely don't understand why this hostel has such a lower rating, guy by the reception is nice, the rooms are fine and beds are fine. It's a hostel. All in all good stay.

clean, cheap, value for money”

we booked 3 rooms for 3 families. the rooms are small but clean. ac in the room is cold. bathroom is ok, clean. they provide only soap and shampoo. No towel. first, they give us rooms located at separate building but they allow us to change the room so we can stay in the same building. a mini mart is next to the hostel but don't think the mini mart like as 7-11. the mini mart only provides limited drinks and snacks. the hostel is located around 400-500m from farrer park MRT station which allows us to go anywhere in Singapore by MRT.

Budget-friendly and Location-wise”

The hostel is nice for a budget-price. Our room is clean with good bed and clen beddings. Just bring your own towel. The are 3 bathrooms in our floor. We arrived at 10:00 pm and checked in late but the process was very fine. Breakfast is also fine (bread, cereal, coffee, and tea). The location of the hostel is near to the MRT station (farrer park). From there, you can go any place you want using MRT. My only comment is the internet connection. No connection at all. But it's fine because I went in SG to have fun and escape from social media.

clean and cheap budget hotel”

we booked 3 rooms for 3 families. the rooms are small but clean. AC works well and cold. No TV in the room, but, it is ok for us because we just need the room for sleeping. first, they gave us rooms in the separate building, but they allow us to change so we can stay in same building. the shared bathroom is clean. they only provides soap and shampoo, no towel. but they also provide hair dryer in the shared bathroom. this hostel has no elevator. all staffs are good and helpful, except the man that is always rude. only one staff can speak English, that is the one in the reception. Nice stay”

My stay here with my friends were good. The access is 5mins walk from Farrer Park MRT 9/10. Easy check-in 10/10. Lot of restrooms and all good 7/10. The triple family room is small but Enough for three of us 8/10. The staffs were helpful and kind 10/10. Good sandwiches as breakfast 9/10 with hot coffee or milk, this is self service. The air conditioning is working very good and we had enough sleep though you need to be reminded that it is noisy when someone getting in or out as the floor is made of (type of) woods. Basic Hostel”

Good hostel for the price as it is Singapore- cheapest we could find. Basic room, clean shared bathrooms. There is a washing machine to do laundry which is great.

clean budget hostel”

the hostel close to mrt station (farrer park) its around 500m. I booked 2 private rooms (triple & double) with shared bathroom. the stairs were too small but its ok for 1 nite. the staff name is Jane (i guess) is a helpful and nice person. they charged me double paid. but when I checkout she confessed of her mistaken and refund by cash. thank you!

A great place to sleep and leave your things 😊”

If you just want a place where you can sleep and put your luggages on, I can highly recommend this hostel. This is a few minutes walk from farrer park mrt station and the bus station (I forgot the name of the station). There is also free breakfast. There are some options, oatmeal, bread (peanut butter, butter, jam), tea, coffee, and milk. And lastly, the lady in charge (I forgot to ask her name) is really nice! She's so kind! We had this small problem and she managed it. We did not have any problems. If the check out is too early for you, you can leave your luggages so that you can still have time to go around the area 😊

Worth your money!”

Value for money. Good for backpackers or for those with tight budget. Slept comfortably in one of their dorm type rooms. 3 min walk from Farrer Park Station. Bread and coffee for breakfast are also a plus.

the hostel provides you with basic needs like shampoo, soap, tissue and even hair dryer, though you have to bring your own towel. hallway is very noisy when someone walk in it, since its made of wood planks.

VIP Room, Clean and Comfortable”

The room was clean, and spacious (due to no built-in or portable wardrobe). The beds/ pillows/ bed sheets were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple. The hostel is near to MRT station and groceries/ restaurant are within walking distance. Down sides: 1. The kettle provided in the room was rusted, and with a bad smell, which we didn't use it. 2. There was no water dispenser, we had to use the kettle in the kitchen or common place to boil and get drinking water. 3. The staffs at the reception counter were not friendly, hardly could see a smile even we gave a warm smile ahead. 4. The breakfast table just at the side of the walkway which the space was small and became very crowded when there were more than 3 people preparing breakfast. 5. There was just one table and a sofa at the common space where you can sit to have your breakfast, a bit congested when many guests are having breakfast at the same time.

Not fit for family travelling with children ”

For single / couple backapckers travelling to Singapore and just wanted a place to stay in, you might want to stay at Greendili Hotel. But for family travelling with young children, it is difficult to stay here since its uncomfortable because of 1. common comfort room. if someone uses it (cr) you have to wait until he/she finishes his/her 'business' inside. Waiting time is around 30 minutes. 2. Air conditioning lacks of cooling / cleaning. 3. No television. 4. The family room is too big & lacks of furnitures like a closet/ drawer to get your things organised. 5. The windows are locked and with grills. So in case of fire, you have to go down to the front door. I don't know if its ok to SG's fire safety standards. Next time we travel back to Singapore, we will prefer to stay in a hotel for comfort, safety and security.

Cheap place to stay”

At 1st i booked 1 night for testing. But, now I'm staying here till 8th August. Total 9 nights staying here. Convenient. Near to MRT, shopping center(NTUC supermarket), foods. Quite place and friendly room-mates. I'll book here again for my next visit in Singapore. TQ.
