Relaxing Stay”
I had a nice time staying here for one night. Owner and guests are very friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located in Motobu and I went to Sesoko Island nearby to snorkel. Highlight of my trip was the conversations I had and I would definitely come back when I get a chance.

Surprisingly pleasant”
This is the cheapest place I found outside Naha. It's a friendly guesthouse run by a man from Osaka, who speaks some English and is always nice and helpful. The village is nice and easy to get to from Naha/Nago. Don't expect to meet other foreigners though- the majority of the guests are Japanese guys.

Very cute guesthouse with an amazing host and really good social life:) amenities are nice, have a nice terrace + full kitchen. Quiet and peaceful location but supermarket and some restaurants just around the corner. Definitely always again:)

Friendly host!!”
The host is from Osaka which is a friendly, funny guy. The house itself is small with a little common room with a table for traveler to exchange some chats. At my stay there was a thunderstorm and heavy rain, I have spent an unforgettable night with those people in the house. The old market is just opposite of the road, there is a lovely coffee store. Other than that, you have to walk Abit to reach restaurants and the only supermarket, no convenience store nearby. This is recommended to take a ferry to Minna island, the Cobalt blue colour sea and beach is impressive. The pier is not far away from the guesthouse.

1 month in Okinawa”
We were staying for a whole month in Okinawa, and the host was really kind and helpful, so even if it's not the most comfortable guesthouse, our stay in Motobu was perfect!!

Great for a few nights”
The Hostel owner is a great guy and he speaks English well enough for some nice conversations. The place was built by himself and you can see it is not professional done BUT it is still very good for the price. He even asked me if I need an extra futon so that the bed gets softer but there were two already and it was good enough for me. There was free caffee and he had some.instand noodle and beer to sell if you need something. There are 3 or 4 big supermarkets around and a lawson which is open 24/7 The port is only about 3km away which makes it easy to go to ie island or yoron. If you want to go to minna island the port is even closer like 500m !

Very nice staff with humor. Because My Jap is basic, it's sometimes not easy to communicate. But the staff Ken was friendly and encouraged me to talk. I felt that staying in Nandeyanen was warm welcomed.

Near to attractions in Nago”
in a quiet and sleepy town, Kunigami. Near to Aquarium, Motobu Port and Toguchi Port. Opposite an old market which sells fresh and reasonably priced sashimi. The guesthouse is clean but a bit unsafe for solo female traveler.

Great value, super helpful owner, nice location”
This place was located as north as I could find reasonable accommodation. It was good value for money compared to other places, clean, and the facilities were good enough for me. I rented one of the small private rooms, and was very happy in my time there. I made friends with some of the other guests and loved the vibe of the place. The owner was really friendly, and so helpful. He even drove me to the bus station in the next town and wouldn't accept any payment from me. Oh and there is a bicycle available to rent.

Hard days for my family”
Our trip to Okinawa was in a peak season and couldn't find other hotel. We chose this dormitory with no choice. Unluckily there was no enough space to load our baggages, we took the necessary stuff from our rental car and just put in the bed. The air conditioner only turned on at the nighttime and will be switched off in the early morning. But we were awoke in the midnight due to too hot. The toilet was smelly and when someone go to toilet in the midnight my father was awake. One of the bathroom can't be locked that makes not safe....but it is suitable for singles or couples who want to save money, cheerful place and can make friends with foreigners!

Peaceful stay for seeing the northern attractions”
Good location if you want to get to the aquarium, ocean expo park, and other attractions in the north. It's only a 200 yen bus ride, or about a 20 minute walk before you reach the park. The owner, Ken, is very nice and friendly, and although his English isn't perfect, its definitely functional and he can help you with whatever attractions/transport you need. The town is nice and quiet, not as touristy as in the south. It has 2 grocery stores, and a great restaurant around the corner with affordable Okinawan dishes (look for the green sign with the cartoon old man face on it!). The easiest way to get here from Naha is on the Yanbaru Express bus which comes every few hours, so be sure to search for the schedule. There's a nice balcony on the upper floor facing the water, and a functional kitchen with utensils for cooking. Would definitely recommend it!

not recommend at all”
I've stayed there for 1 night (private room). The first point is they have no any information (how to go there, contact inf.) and spent about 10 mins. in airport to get the direction. arrived after 3 hrs past (you have to go to Nago bus terminal to change the bus) the staff can't speak English (it's okay for me cause I can use japanese) , The room's small but suitable with 1 person ิีbut there room's separate by woods so I heard a voice from outside my room CLEARLY (the guesthouse owner makes some party that night) even a sound of snore from shared room outside

Great little spot in Motobu”
Great stay, thank you so much Ken! The staff was super helpful in giving us information about the surrounding area. Also there's a really delicious cafe (Half Time Cafe) nearby with a 500 yen breakfast set. Highly recommend. (If you don't speak any Japanese, communication might be a little difficult for you)

Suitable for those who only cares about the price.”
The price was cheap and the environment was clean. but it wasn't a very great experience. We booked the twin room but actually it was two single room (single mattress on the ground) with a door opening in the middle. It was very small and all the rooms were separated by thin wooden walls so you can hear everything next room and in the hall way. Only one toilet and 2 shower rooms shared by all the guests so it took time to wait to use them. The biggest problem was that the room can't be locked from inside. There was only a hook on the door and the door can't be closed completely. Because our room was right beside the main gate which had no locks, we had a bad sleep worrying that our door might got opened....
