Renovating a Japanese-style private house with a 100-year history, Guesthouse Tamura offers an accommodation in Fushigazushi-cho, Nara. Kintetsu Nara Station is a 13-minute walk away, while Kasuga Taisha Shrine is a 20-minute stroll. Every room comes with a shared bathroom. Some rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and Japanese futon bedding. You will find luggage storage space at the property. Vegetarian meals can be offered upon request. Exceptional”
The personel was really nice, she told me about festival in Nara and she even woke up me to be there :) there are 2 showers and toilets so I didn't have to wait for it.

The host is very kind and helpful. She can also speak good English so don't worry if you can't understand Nihongo. The traditional breakfast is vegetarian with various bowls of small serving side dishes together with home grown rice and tea as well as miso soup. The house is clean and toilets as well. The house is located just beside Nara hotel so the park is just nearby. I even saw deers as I got out of the house. You will feel an authentic Japanese experience in the house. Sad enough I had to stay only for 1 night because I had to go to Kyoto already. Next time I'll definitely stay longer.

Lovely small guesthouse. The owners are really nice and helpful and can tell you about good tourist destinations around. (There are many!) It looks like a hostel, but all the daily necessities are provided, you don't even need to carry a towel or a toothbrush. The atmosphere is really homey. And the breakfast is amazing.

At the first sight a bit weired but after very heart warming and welcome”
It's a old guesthouse runned only by an eldery hardworking women. At the beginning we weren't sure if we would feel comfortable. We stayed in the private house at the same floor where these women lives. But the ice broke while the great traditional japanese breakfast she cooked for us. Really delicious! And she speaks better English than any other Japanese we met.

离奈良站大概二十分钟步行距离，一路过来都是居民区，非常安静，奈良是个让人放松的地方。住宿很干净，没有可挑剔的地方。房东很好，早餐也不错，还有免费咖啡零食之类的。离兴福寺和奈良公园都不远，走个十来分钟可以到。推荐。
