Highly recommended ”
Super good location, right next to the train station. We booked the room with in room onsen, which is very clean, and spacious for 2 ppl. Especially love the toilet is outside of the main room. Dinner was delicious and huge! We only finished 70% of that. Breakfast was ok also, but it’s too early for us. Shops nearby close at 6-7pm. We also paid extra 2000 yen to enjoy the onsen on the rooftop. It was amazing at night, but if u want to take some good pictures suggest to book it in the morning.

Exceptional”
I absolutely loved the Hakone Suimeisou hotel. Everyone who worked there was so kind and willing to help out with absolutely every question we had or didn't have. They gave us tips and provided us with freshly made tea and red bean paste buns. The personal hot spring bath on our balcony was incredible and we could have stayed in it for days. The women's bath I went to was also incredible with great views and so many amenities. I would definitely recommend and hope to come back.

Best Ryokan Experience in Hakone”
The ryokan is clean and spacious! The private onsen is nice and relaxing. The traditional dinner and breakfast are exceptional. My mom and aunt are pleased with the dishes. And last but not least, the ryokan is close to the Hakone Yumoto station! 10/10

Wonderful 2 nights stay”
We are a group of 6, 2 adults and 4 children (9 yrs and 7 yrs ). First of all, this hotel is really 2 mins walk from Hakone Yumoto station , so if you take romance car express from Tokyo, it is really very convenient. Outside of the building , there’s a lot of cafe, souvenir shops and also convenient shops around it. The main bus stop is right across from the station which is few minutes away from hotel. Hotel service is excellent , staffs are very friendly. We really enjoyed our Japanese room and how breakfast and dinner presented in our room . Our room is really clean, food is quite good. Service is extra on top of it! The lobby might seemed a bit old , otherwise the rest of the facilities are quite good. We would definitely recommend friends to stay.

Awesome Hakone ”
Located less than 5 mins walk from station & staff are nice, polite, helpful, and one of them speak very good English. We booked a room with private onsen with river view and very satisfied with the experience, so relaxing spent time with family. At night you can also join the public onsen on the top floor. Looking for food, souvenirs, and snacks are very easy, less than 1 min walk and you already in the city area and the only street with shops in Hakone Yumoto area.

Private onsen is awesome, but a bit too expensive for 50mins. Dinner and breakfast is very good. Room is clean and staff is very friendly. Definitely will return to this hotel again if visit to Hakone once more.

Very nice authentic Japanese experience ”
Second time coming to Hakone and this Onsen hotel was a perfect stay. 3-min walk from the main train station and the main street, the location was perfect. We had a nice open-air private onsen in our room, had onsen whenever we wanted. The meals were also great with the first one being a jawdroppingly impressive one. Staff was very polite as well. Highly recommend.

Extremely enjoyable experience”
Booked the room with my own private onsen and felt like I was on "Japan Hour" programme! Everything from the room to the food (private dinner and breakfast) was awesome and excellent service from all the staff at the hotel. Location was very near to Hakone-Yumoto station too. I would definitely come back again if I can.

Cosy stay near the Station”
Booked this hotel because it was really near the Hakone-Yumoto station (just across the road). A small cosy ryokan-like hotel. Booked the Japanese style room and enjoyed it very much. Overall it was a quiet cosy time with my partner away from city whereby you just relax, dip into the onsen and enjoy the traditional meal they prepared (part of booking)

Worth coming”
The location is fantastic. It’s only 1-2min away from the station. We ordered both breakfast and dinner, which are very delicious. The menu is different every day. We highly recommend the food. Also, the private hot spring is nice as they provide real onsen water!

Awesome experience”
The hotel overall is very clean. Location-wise, they are couple minutes walk away from the station, which is always nice. The only (slight) problem I observed was the staff. Most staff were very nice, with the exception of the receptionist we met when we arrived.

Nice ryokan with good location”
The hotel was easy to locate, a mere 4mins walk from the Hakone Yumoto Station. We were impressed by the relatively new bathrooms and the breakfasts served. We ordered a kaiseki dinner and it was generous. The meals were served to us in a private dining room. We came during a period of heavy rain and could smell the stench from the drainage. Overall a wonderful place to stay

Has seen better days BUT it was fantastic!”
The hotel has a superb location, right next to the train and bus station and major eating/ shopping spots. BUT the room and outdoor onsen face a beautiful river. we had the loveliest time sitting in the hot spring water bath, in the cold winter air, and enjoying the gorgeous view. Would go again just for the bath.
