The staffs helped us solve our bus ticket problem and even picked us up. It is an accommodation with “hotel-level” quality and “B&B’s” hospitality and warmness. The location is great to visit the famous old street and we could reach the scenic spots on foot. Will definitely stay here again when visit Hitoyoshi.

Location: The hotel was not big. Many restaurants around and a supermarket nearby the hotel. The room: clean and tidy although it was a bit old. The traditional Japan pillow in the room is unexpected good that made me sleep well. Staff services: There was a young gentleman who wears glasses in the front desk and helped us to make reservation in the restaurant. We are very appreciated to his kind offer by giving recommendations of many restaurants. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

The staff was considerate. They were polite and happy to have international travelers. I don't like having to pay per person at Onsen hotels, but that is always the case. Not always at non-onsen hotels. It makes the cost of the room over priced. This also makes it hard to accept that it's 4 stars.

Down to earth traditional Japanese inn”
we stayed in 3 single rooms in this traditional Japanese inn. We were received by the staff with open arms. The rooms are situated by the river and the food provided in both meals were of high quality. We were most impressed by the very accommodating attitude of all the staff here. My friend required to post some stuff and the staff helped her to wrap it carefully and guided her to the post office. They even went a mile to help me to get a box for putting some fragile in my suit case. The service we received during meals was at all times pleasant. We were very pleased with our stay in this inn.

staff there are very nice and relatively polite, the room is so large and very clean, definitely good, when I checked out, they farewell to me very heartily, and give me a present, it is absolutely worthwhile to have a night there, and this town is so peaceful, people are so enthusiastic. great

旅の荷物が重い”
駅からの距離、散策ならちょうど良いのでしょうが、重い荷物🧳担いでは遠い。幸い戻りの時は駅まで車で送っていただいたので、SL熊本を待つ間にコインロッカーへ荷物を入れ、気になっていた青井阿蘇神社へ行くことが出来ました。

窓からの景色は最高でした。 大浴場の温泉も良かった！ 掃除は行き届いていたけど、ホテル自体が古くて、、 料理も、お肉は牛肉が欲しかったな。朝食ももう少し頑張って欲しいな。
