"We spent 3 nights in Bintang, we had a private bedroom. The place is beautiful, the room and bedroom are very big and clean, the pool is great and you can easily meet other travellers around and share a few beers. The food is good and the staff are the kindest people we met, always smiling, talkative and very helpful with anything you want. They can arrange pretty much everything: island tours, driver, motorbikes, snorkeling, boat trip to Bali or other places and with good price. The only problem we had was with the on going works, as they are expanding a little, so quite hard to sleep after 8 am with the noise of the works, but you can wake up and rest by the pool! Thank you Kadek and Koman (I hope I have your names right...), we wish we could have stayed longer."

"Good place to stay if budget traveling. Location good and close to all beautiful beaches but pretty far from city. Nice and quiet place to stay. Good wifi in rooms. Cafe in front really cheap to buy all your meals. Staff really nice and helpful. You can rent scooter to drive around this part of island. I would highly recommend this place for that cheap price. Only minus on my stay- i had my room in first floor and it looked like it was staff smoking area just behind my bathroom window in between two houses. Since the windows are not closed it was very upsetting to have a cigarette smell in my room all the time coming from bathroom. I asked boys kindly not to smoke there but after 1 day they were back doing same thing."

"Our stay at Medori Putih was excellent. Our room was basic but clean, bed was average, pillows a little thin but acceptable. Bathroom was typical of most budget places in Bali, a bit dark but clean and functional. The air conditioning worked very well and the wifi was some of the best we have had anywhere in Bali. The places where Medori shines is the staff who were very helpful and friendly (will organize and transport or activites) and the beautiful gardens and pool. The food at the restaurant was actually very good as well and really cheap. A big plus for me was the close 10 minute walk to Padang Padang/Impossibles surf spots. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for somewhere affordable and nice near Padang Padang with excellent staff and service."

"We were very happy with the value for money as soon as we arrived at Hotel Jati. There is a convenience store at the top at the drive way which was a great addition for us travelling with an infant. The staff were fantastic from reception through to house keeping who service the room daily. The air con was icy cold and the pool was great. The location is very good also, some nice restaurants close by and about a 5 minute walk down to the beach. Very happy with our stay."

"This is a new hotel. Beautiful, clean and everything in the room smells new. We stayed in Room 102 with direct access to the pool. Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable bed and pillow. Nice breakfast. Near to everything. You have to walk a few steps down the street next to Abang shop to find Mahesa. The room has a TV but no signal. It's a smart TV, but wifi is weak in our room. I think rooms 105-107 have better wifi connection. So try to request for those rooms. When booking grab/gojek, you have to walk and wait in front of Abang shop. That will be your drop off point too. "

"our stay here was excellent...the place was neat and clean...the WiFi was fantastic...food was excellent....the host was very friendly and kept us feeding all the time...there was a beautiful temple in side the home and entrance was through a traditional balanese doorway which gives a very nice feel. there was no fridge and television in the room. not that you need one...also its a bit difficult to contact the owner by mail to share the info of arrival and confirmation of booking..."

"Surf Lodge is by far one of the best places I ever been. You met the coolest people there, it just attracts the best. It is super clean, there is no extras, the breakfast is excellent, the pool is always fresh and clean, they provide you new towels every day, the dorms are really nice. Wayan is the best, she took care of us all the time. Ari is also a great person, he is hard worker and very hospitalary "
