Good location in HatYai ”

Hop Inn Hotel had many branch in Thailand and standard policy to check in and check out, about Hop Inn Hat Yai is located near Prince of Songkhla Hospotal that you can walh only 5 mins, the room is narrow and not have facility such as telephone in room but the AC and water pressure work as well done, plenty of car park and 24 hours security.

The best value for money hotel”

Huge parking space, friendly staff, near to all local food places, very quiet at night, nice view. I would stay here again in the future as it provides access to all the best places to visit. Met the hotel staff named Shafra-i (facebook name cha cha you like) , he even volunteered to take me to the best local restaurants. Room is nice and clean, even had a small balcony to dry my clothes as i am a biker who rode from Kuala Lumpur to Hat Yai.

I have stayed in other branches of hop inn before and decide to give it a shot when I stopped by hatyai. I was glad I made that choice. I had a great stay. Check in was easy. Just prepare 100 THB for key deposit. Rooms are super clean. And large enough that guest do not feel squeezed. There is a small balcony with an ash tray on the wall. Coffee and tea available at lobby in the morning. Plenty of lots for drivers as well. Recommended for stay.

The best place”

A new hotel, good Wi-Fi, free coffee from 8-10 am, clean clean clean, beds are solo comfortable. About 30 min slow walk to bus station. Now hat yai has grab taxi so can get around if don't want to catch sawntel. Markets close by. Very good place for the money. Has fridge too

CONVENIENT & BUDGET”

This hotel as I saw on Agoda was interesting & really cheap so I gave it a try. However, the hotel is really meant to be a proper business hotel, or a budget one meant for those who have their own transports (ie. lots of car park spaces there!) & more convenient to drive around on their own. Me on the other hand, as a solo traveller who relied on a more touristy mode of travel such as needing public transport will be slightly inconvenienced. The major attractions are quite far off. The nearest malls being Asean Mall & Central Festival is only really located along the same road, but they require walking of up to more than 20mins. However, there is a Tesco Lotus Express a lot nearer at around 10mins walk which you can treat as a convenience store so you can get your regular snacks, drinks...etc there. There are songtaews that do go along this main road for the adventurous (like me!). they are really cheap, but Hat Yai in general if you want to visit the other outlying attractions such as Hat Yai Hill, Reclining Buddha Temple or elephant camp all require taxi/songtaew bookings in advance, so one like me who expects the convenience of flagging down one such as in Pattaya or Bangkok will be slightly disappointed. Negativity aside, the hotel is fairly priced lower as it compromises on location. It is nice, clean & modern with just the most basic of facilities for one such as fresh towels, shower gels, a mini fridge...etc. Which is all you really need if it's just a place you need to get sleep. Will come back again when I roadtrip here from M'sia instead of having flown which I did upon submitting this review.

- Staff really bad conversation and manner. - We stay hop inn many province, but Hat Yai big problem, if you need double bed you have to tell them you need single bed, if you need single bed you have to tell them you need double bed, this time I need single bed so I tell receptionist that we need double, she will said hotel full and will give you a single bed like last time. - Wifi so boring, you need to put password every time when log in, and you will get password day by day, you need to ask for new password for next day. Normally almost hop inn stand alone, should not worry outsider use Wifi. And wifi very slow. - Other hotel better for wifi and good staff more than hop inn.

still can improve on the stuff in room ”

Basically this is a nice hotel with this price. I always worry about parking because I'm self driving to Hatyai. This hotel have a lot of car park. The staff is friendly and they will try their best to help you although they not speak good english. The only thing I feel that the hotel can be improve is add more stuff in the room. With this price, I feel that at least must have kettle and hair dyer in room. If no kettle, at least we can get water in lobby but it is not. Only hot water in lobby. There is only 2 bottles of drinking water in room which is for sure not enough. Please improve this... :)

Convenient and clean with budget price”

Stayed three nights for conference. The hotel is located 2 km walk from the International Convention Center. Walkable distance but local taxi and motorbike service around the corner. 200 meter walk to 7-11 and local market. New and clean room. Friendly staff. Plenty of car park. Local shuttle service running in front of the hotel to Kim Yong market and Central Plaza Hatyai which is also near the bus terminal.

Cheap, good and clean”

This hotel is about 500m away from Greenway/Asean Night Market. The room is very clean but small. Good for 2 person only. Plenty of parking space and guarded. Free coffee (mocha/latte/chocolate) at certain hours in a day. A bit far from the heart of hatyai city center though. Highly recommended.

Small size room but value of money. The room clean and comfortable. location is near to festival mall. Need take song tiao go to market. For guest who dont have transportation is not encourage to stay..hospital and university just walking distance. Staff not too friendly, requesting for xtra pillow need extra charges. I lost my small pillow in the room, but customer service said they didnt found it. So disappointed for the service. But overall, I still recommended for this hotel if guest have their own transport.
