Value for money hotel near BTS Phra Khanong.”

We we truly enjoyed our stay at Hope Land Hotel Sukhumvit 46/1 recently. The room that we (my wife and I) stayed in was pretty spacious & clean. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Accessibility is also pretty good as it is within short walking distance from the BTS Station. There were nice variety of delicious food for the breakfast and we really enjoyed our daily breakfast. Among the several hotels that we have had stayed in in Bangkok, this (for the price range) is one of the best. Good value!

Great value for money”

We really enjoyed our stay at Hope Land in Bangkok, we planned to stay for 4 nights and extended it for one night because we had to stay in Bangkok an extra night, the hotel wouldn't give us the same rate as we had paid on Agoda and we didn't get breakfast either, however it was still good value and the reason we got a good rate was because we booked it early. The hotel itself is really nice, lots of big spaces throughout the hotel, a nice pool(not very deep, but we didn't mind), a well equipped gym, good staff and free internet. The rooms aswell were very nice; they were big with a brand new LCD tv, plenty of channels, good Air-Con, nice big bathroom with a bath and shower and two single beds which we're nearly the size of doubles anyway! The location of the hotel is good also, although it is quite a way down sukhumvit(its not actually on Sukhumvit 46, but near to it) it's only a 5minute walk to the skytrain station which gives you access to alot of Bangkok very quickly and efficiently. Also taxi's are cheap and easy enough to get in Bangkok and much more likely to turn on the meter in areas like Sukhumvit(rather than in tourist areas where they often will refuse to). Highly recommended hotel, great value for money!

Excellent hotel & Staff - Perfect Location”

This hotel is fairly luxurious for the price. The Staff could not be better and richly deserve the 5 *****. This hotel has a great location very close to a BTS Sky train station. BTS is very easy to use(also the MRT) with these two transport systems you can go off an discover Bangkok, from the shopping malls to the temples. Its a great adventure for those who like see the real city and people. One word of caution avoid Rush Hour :) sits in a restaurant and head back after 6:30 after a day of discovering Bangkok. The hotel pool is great for relaxing after a days shopping and site seeing. The rooms was very clean and kept so by the cleaning staff, the breakfast was filling and delicious. I loved their Orange juice. Somebody said once .."the 3 most important things a hotel needs is (1)Location, (2)Location , and (3)Location...." Hotel Land Hope S 46/1 has this and very welcoming staff. Thank You to the Staff at Hotel Land Hope S46/1 I will return one day am sure .

Great value for money, friendly service.”

having never stayed at hope land sukhumvit 46/1 before we were more than surprised with the value for money. our deluxe double room was more of a self contained studio apartment - complete with washer/dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, cooking utensils and crockery/cutlery. the room was well appointed, with large furniture, large bed and a 32in screen plus dvd player. our room faced into the atrium of the hotel - which was converted from a theatre - and overlooked the pool deck. very nice indeed - just like the photos. we were also surprised to find seperate mens and woman spa/sauna/steam rooms. breakfast was not included in our very reasonable rate, however the breakfast available for 200b was excellent.

The best of everything”

Our stay at the Hope Land Executive Residence Sukhumvit 46/1 was pure delight. The suite was well designed with a pantry corner and big bathroom. The food was delicious. The overall atmosphere of the place was peaceful and just nearly the BTS. To top it off the staff were very attentive, polite and responded assertively to any requests I had. I would highly recommend the Hope Land Executive Residence Sukhumvit 46/1 suites to anyone looking for some indulgence and something special. Excellent hotel to stay and wonderful trip there..thank you.

it is resonable”

There are two Hope Land hotel in Bangkok and I stayed in Sukhumvit. and I had a good stay in this hotel. but location of it was not good. Because it is far away from the city and there is no places to sightseeing around the hotel. but, since the nearest BTS(ground railway) station is 5 minutes away, you can move to the city or most places conveniently. above all, it has a lot of great facilities such as swimming pool, spa, restaurant and fitness center etc. especially the swimming pool, which is surrounding a whole building was really awesome. and I had a breakfast just one day, there was various kinds of foods. but it was a little bit expensive for its quality. if you are worried about the language, you don't need to do. The staff can speak in English well. and I needed some information about the way, they were really kind and gave me various information. on the whole, this hotel is nice and reasonable price. but I'd like to recommend you another hotel which is located in the city than this hotel. though the two hotels are same, it's just only different to the location. it is more better than this hotel considering the location.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

We had a party of 6 persons for our crazy bangkok trip and had a great time. Loved the decoration and location of the hotel. Friendly staff and would recommend to anyone. But what a pity that there were not so many restuarants to choose from but we loved our breakfast at the Hope Land Executive Residence Sukhumvit 46/1.

Thoroughly Recommend”

Hope Land Executive Residence Sukhumvit 46/1 exceeded my expectations. The manager and staff were the best I've experienced anywhere. This hotel provides incredible value for money. Apart from the helpful staff, very much appreciated the free WIFI in the room and free use of computers in the lobby.

A Hidden Gem”

My stay at Hope Land Residence 46/1 was a very enjoyable one. The studio room that we had for 2 nights was very spacious and clean. It even has a dining area with a fridge and coffee-maker as well. The sauna and steam room is the place that I enjoyed most. I didn't try out the swimming pool but was told by a young girl from Hong Kong that the water wasn't too cold but the pool wasn't that deep either. Location is within walking distance to the nearest BTS station. Once you are at the station, you can basically roam anywhere you want. I will definitely come back if I ever come to Bangkok again.

Don't trust all poor reviews”

I stayed here from the 26/Nov to 7/DEC, at first the reviews of the hotel gave me cause for concern, but when I arrived I was very happy with the hotel, we experienced none of the issues in the poor reviews. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful when needed. The room was exactly as described and the breakfast was good and accommodated many different tastes. Being Irish the air conditioning was great kept the room at a nice 15 degrees for 2 weeks, the maid service came at same time everyday. Did not see one mosquito or insect for the whole 2 weeks, myself and my wife were very happy with our stay at Hope Land, and getting around Bangkok was easy with the BTS only about 200 meters from the hotel, with walkways so never needed to cross a road. There is good security at the hotel and in the areas outside. I would recommend this hotel especially if you get a good deal on the rate, I felt was getting a lot for my money.

A most pleasant stay”

This was my first time traveling to Thailand, and I was traveling alone, so I had no idea what to expect with my accomodations. I was more than pleasantly surprised with my experience at Hope Land. My room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. I could have stayed there much longer than the two weeks that I did. The housekeeping staff were most professional and polite, and were very flexible in working around my variable schedule. Hope Land's staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always greeting me when I came and went, and really made me feel like I was more of a friend than a customer. Of particular note is Hope Land's manager, Liam. I met Liam my first day at the hotel, and in all of my travels he is by far the most personable and professional hotel manager I have ever dealt with. He always made time to say hello and chat with me, and he gave me tips and advice that were invaluable to me getting to know such a large and lively city as Bangkok. Liam also went far and above the call of duty by helping me obtain a mobile phone that I could use locally during my trip. In the end he turned out to be instrumental in making my trip to Thailand such an enjoyable success. With a manager like Liam, it is no surprise why all aspects of my stay at Hope Land exceeded my expectations.

Elegant, tranquil and sophisticated surroundings”

Save for the very far location from the city center, the hotel is a good deal for its elegance, large room and bath, sportscenter and gym, pools and attractive breakfast buffet. The big come on is the price because one pays for four star accommodations at two star prices. The staff, of Thai and Filipino nationalities, are very welcoming and do their best to make one's stay enjoyable. Taxies are available just outside the hotel though the hotel has access to its own for hire taxicabs that one can hire for special trips in and out of the city. Phra Kanong train station is about 500 meters walk but one must navigate a slightly perilous intersection to get there in one piece. For those arriving for the first time, a cab thru Sukhumvit will set you back by several bahts and minutes as the traffic can be unreasonable at almost all hours. The BTS train to Phra Kanong is the best way to get to the district. Besides , Sukhumvit main avenue is curiously mapped. All even numbered sois (streets) are on one side while the odd-numbered roads are on the opposite. However, they dont actually match. Across Sukhumvit soi 46, for instance, is still Sukhumvit soi 70 already.

Elegant Hotel with friendly, professional service”

I stayed at the Hope Land Executive with my husband, three adult daughters and their partners. The hotel was well known and easy for taxi's to locate. This was important because, we had previously stayed at a hostel in Bangkok which two taxi drivers could'nt find- it took us an hour of driving around for them to locate it. The location was also walking distance to a large local Mall and to the trains. We all felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Staff were warm, professional, easy to communicate with and keen to provide an excellent service. Because we were heading to Krabi for four days before returning to Bangkok we needed to leave our excess baggage at the hotel throughout this time. The staff were happy to accomodate and we felt confident all of our belongings would be safe- this proved to be the case. The bottom floor of the hotel is elegant and impecably clean. The rooms we stayed in were comfortable clean and the air conditioning was not too noisy. Although the hotel is large, it still had a welcoming ambience about it, which may be due to the fact that people also live in the building, apartment style. There was a variety of food offered for breakfast,which was great to set us up for the busy day ahead.The Japanese restaurant on site was delicious and of a high standard. The man ran the restaurant and served us was humble, attentive and provided excellent service. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend for individuals, couples or family groups.

Great hotel and good service”

Hotel: - Very clean and tidy - Air-conditioning can be a bit too cold eventhough we have adjusted it. - Although the hotel is just next to BTS, it's not noisy - Hotel provides free WIFI and internet access through computer in the lobby - Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Although their English is limited, they try their best in helping us. I have read about hotel staffs that worked with Taxi driver who overcharged hotel customers. However, in Hope Land, when we request the Concierge to get a taxi for us, he asked us to remain in the lobby while he hailed the cab from the street. I thought that's very nice gesture. He hailed us a meter taxi and told us roughly how much we expected to pay. Location - Convenient, as it is only 2 mins walk from Phra Kanong BTS station. - The only disadvantage was as the hotel is located at the fringe of Sukhumvit area, thus there is not much eating place around. There is only one restaurant behind the hotel which serves Western/Thai food. Food is cheap and good. The lady boss is very friendly too. There is one small mall at Ekkamai station which is one stop before Phra Kanong, which have a few restaurants and a cinema.

Good home away from home”

Hope Land became my go to place in Bangkok, because I could get a decent sized room cheap, but with full facilities. Hope Land is located near Phrakanong BTS station, which used to be on the edge of town, but given how much the skytrain network has expanded, it is now considered quite central. Phrakanong itself is quite a peaceful area, and you can easily walk all the way to Gateway Ekamai, as I did many times. My favourite feature of this place is the gym... a large room, with separate room for yoga, and lots of new machines... something for everyone. I also love the tropical oasis in the middle, free from the city noise. My only complaint (very minor) is the breakfast buffet... its reasonable, not fantastic... then again I have been spoiled with the buffets at some of the places I have stayed. For the price, it is a great deal.

airport taxi spoke no english.arrived at hope land after 1.25 hours - i thought he took me to wrong place. it is excellent from rooms to staff(all friendly)to great value.why it's not 5 star rated is beyond me.taxis around sukhumvit are inexpensive,great thai 2 doors up.brilliant mexican restaurant "coyote"about taxi 40 baht away.there the staff are fantastic/all speak english and great margaritas. hope land even has rooms with washing machine/big refrigerator etc and you can cook in there.why you would bother to cook is a different issue. it's close to "tesco"big shopping centre too. i'm well travelled,take my advice and just book it !!

Convenient Hotel that has it all”

This hotel has a touch of elegance the moment you enter the lobby. They provide you with a beverage counter that provides coffee, tea and juice every time you enter the lobby. So when we would return to the hotel from a day out, we could help ourselves to a complimentary beverage while deciding what we would do next. They had 3 computers that always worked properly. In many hotels they computers would crash just when you were able to access your site, but not here. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you with a smile. The rooms were well equipped with a sink, refrigerator and washing machine along with a couch, table and chairs to eat at and a very clean bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was nicely supplied with foods for everyone. This facility is close to the BTS which lets you travel around Bangkok to tourist and shopping areas. I highly recommend Hope Land and would stay there again.

This is a very nice place. It didnt seem all that full. Seldom saw anyone on my whole floor. Rooms are nice, bathroom nice, lobby nice...all around a good choice. Pool looked real nice but didnt go in. I would stay there again for sure. Careful with location...there are TWO diff HOPELANDS BY SAME OWNER. They charge a 1000 baht deposit for a throw away (in most places) hotel key card. You get it back if you dont loose the card. Most cabs in Bangkok say yes to everything, but once in the car and its moving you realize they have no idea where they are going. YOU need to watch out for a gold banner HOPELAND above the entry...or if you cant see out that high a small sign GREEN mostly Hope Land. My driver would have gone by had I not seen it. Bangkok cab drivers dont use GPS, dont have a number to call when they are lost, and seldom take out their cell to call anyone even the place your going for help. If your coming from the airport meter taxi stand most always they try to stick you with a fixed rate. Dont let them! Its meter plus 50 baht airport charge plus tolls-if any. I gave driver money for tolls as we went buy, but he slid some of the change in his stash and gave me the rest. I caught him on that. Some tolls are 25, some 45 and ?? They might show you a more expensive toll receipt. A good third or more of cabs are crooked and another third have no idea where they are going...so have a map if you can, but if its not in Thai driver generally cant read it. Thai maps most everywhere are useless! Never to scale and only show a few streets. Better than nothing but often not much help.
