"My friend and I stayed in a twin room with an ensuite- a nice, comfortable room for a hostel. (Some kind of soap holder would have been appreciated in the shower, though the bathroom was clean and water pressure was good!). All the accomodation in Sydney was very pricey during the weekend of the stay- given the fact, the cost of the room was reasonable. Beds were quite comfortable (double bed + trundle), there was a tv in the room (but no wifi) and the hostel is in a great location. Staff were friendly and we also appreciated the 'cinema' room, which has nightly movie screenings. There are also lockers downstairs where you can put your belongings after checkout ($4 for the first 4 hours and then $2 for the next 4 I think). The staff also helped us to book a YHA discount for the Aquarium. Unfortunately it was quite noisy on Saturday night (seemed mostly to be coming from drunks and hoons on the main road) but Sunday night was much quieter. Would stay there again if on a budget!"

"The staff were wonderful! They were funny & helpful. The hostel had more items than other hostels I've been to. It was very clean. The only thing that annoyed me was how the lights in the shower kept turning off due to it being motion sensored. Showering in the dark at night isn't great. Otherwise, everything else was TERRIFIC about this place! Definitely would recommend :) Thank you to all the staff members! "

"It wasn’t perfect but it wasn’t as bad as what others said in their reviews. Maybe they were expecting something like a 5 star hotel in a hostel. One of the cheapest hostels in Sydney and you also get to save on transpo since everything is walking distance. It is regularly cleaned everyday. Facilities great. My favorite are the staff. Special mention to Diego, Angelo, and Bryan!"

"This is a very nice place - the kitchen, lounge and bathrooms are all very spacious and well looked after. The location is brilliant - it is just a few hundred metres from Paddy's Market and Woolworths Metro. Central Station is just a few minutes walk. Definitely one of the cleanest, tidiest hostels I've ever witnesses. However, the bedding was not comfortable. The mattress was hard and the pillow was small. The blanket did not even cover my feet. Also you had to use your keycard to keep the electricity on in your pod. I feel sorry for anyone who gets up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom and forgets to take their card out of the electricity pocket - you'll be locked out of your room all night and nobody will be at reception. I don't think there was a need to have to have a keycard to get into the room and the pod. Why did the rooms need to be locked if all valuables were locked up anyway? For those reasons I took two stars off the Value for Money. "

"This hostel (if you can even call it that, it's more like a hotel that happens to have dorm rooms), is a real value. Probably the best value for money in Sydney. My friends and I stayed in a 4-bedroom dorm with ensuite bathroom. We couldn't have asked for more. The room was clean, though they only clean it when a new person arrives, the beds were extremely comfortable and there were more than enough outlets for charging all our electronics. We found that there are multiple ways to get to the hostel from Circular Quay station. We found about three different ways through trial and error. The shortest route took about 5 minutes and cut through the Rocks market and up a path of stone steps. The view at the top of the hostel was great. Definitely stay here if you are a budget traveler travelling to Sydney!"

"I stayed at this hostel twice now as I vacationed in Sydney. I have to say, I had an amazing experience both times. I came as a solo traveler the first time and found this place as an amazing place to meet others like me, and make my stay feel like home, and like one long party. Everyone’s so friendly and the place is clean. I returned with my other half, because I had such a great experience. This time we got a single double bed room, and had another great experience. Whether coming single, or with a significant other, this place is located so conveniently and worth every penny. Thank you for the hospitality! "

"The stay was awsome. the staff was very acommodating and gave us secret tips for 1st time travellers. haha. the room was big, we are staying at a room that is good for 3. The management may want to check on the doors because most of the customers just let the door shut by itself and its quite irritating especially during night time. The lighting systems are sensor activated, so a I had a couple of instances that I am taking a bath at night and suddenly the light turns off. they may want to consider prolonging the activation time in the washroom area. OVerall the stay was good, the hotel is clean and the best part is the location. The convenience of having the hotel right at SYDNEYS CBD area. We love it."
