The only con was the mattress was too firm. No other complaints. We were on the 10th floor and had a partial view of Mt. Fuji. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Could be better”
I have to start this review by saying that I accidentally booked a room on the smokers floor. I do not smoke, so the smell was really strong for me. I asked if I could be changed to a non-smoking floor and the staff very kindly helped me. I’m so grateful for this! The hotel and rooms are very clean, and the staff are super nice. The hotel feels a little bit old when you compare it to other similar-size hotels in Japan, and it’s not cheap if you compare prices! The location is good, in less than 5 minutes you get to Shizuoka Station and I was in Miho no Matsubara in a little less than an hour.

I had reserved 2person, but they ready to only one person and then they qeusted one person charge 2,000en. Then I checked my reservation. And then I showed reservation conform mail to manager. The manager showed me their's reservation paper and there was written 2名. But the manager pointed another side number. Therefore I pointed 2名. That moment, the manager said to me "申し訳ございません( I'm sorry)". But he didn't look sorry. And then they took me a bath towel, teeth brush, a cup in the a twist of paper bag. I think it is too rudely behavior.

Shizuoka trip”
The location is excellent, walking distance on the important places and easy to find. Staff are very helpful and accomodating and they speak english. The room is not that big but juat enough dor luggages. I love the bathroom, it is very important to me. The free breakfast is great, they have breads, egg, spam, sausages, burger patty, vegetable, cornflakes, coffee and juices. Highly recommended. I will stay here if I go back to Shizuoka. Cheers!

Right at the edge of Shizuoka urban area. Very close to Shizuoka station. Two carparks next to the hotel. You can pick whatever shampoo you like from the front desk. lol.
